I will just ask for my own share. |
Reyginus:My thoughts as well...its not everyone that's into programming, so if someone removes microsoft office from his resume I wonder the office packages he'll replace it with. |
You can try enrolling for ICAN, you never can tell the field your breakthrough would come from. Good luck. |
The heart of man is so wicked. So people no longer value precious life that they can sell a decomposed chemical ridden chicken to the general public for consumption. The minister should try to burn such exhibit next time rather than burying them. |
mart2k:Don't worry, I'm sure that if you pay the equivalent in naira, it would be accepted |
JingoOAU:Point of correction...Ngige isn't hated by his people. He defeated the late dora in the 2011 senatorial elections under the defunct ACN. And when the results was announced, youths came out of their homes with brooms and began sweeping from amenyi to eke-awka to celebrate his victory. If he was hated as you claimed his people wouldn't have trooped out in mass to support him. |
dominique:Its obvious they didn't get it from Movie Magic Yourba, else the station's logo would have been visible to us. I believe the movie was from a cd plate, and was properly re winded whenever he comes across such subtitles, then captured and posted here for all to see. |
Nihilist:He made a very good point...yes there's need to go that far. Ileke-idi made a reasonable suggestion. If babe3 feels she has been scammed, and doesn't want other girls to fall victim, it would be wise for her to report the case to the appropriate authorities. @topic I really don't get the purpose of this thread I've been following for days now. According to the victim (babe3's) posts, she was duped of her tuition fees by coogar, and she wants justice as well as warn Nairaland girls who have a soft spot for him about his fraudulent activities. It was also stated that you have enough evidence to put the accused behind bars for a long time. So what's with the delay and unnecessary drama? If he is what you say he is (a credit card thief and a scammer), and you don't want other girls to fall victim of his nefarious activities, kindly report the case to the appropriate authorities. Stop telling us how you've compiled a trailer load of evidence and nothing to show for it. Those working with you (jaybee3 and co) should see to that. I've been on Nairaland for over 9years and I'm tired of seeing this kind of story over and over again. Someone gets duped, he/she cries out, Nairalanders troop out in mass to sympathize with the victim, some take the victims side, some take the accused side. Some people get famous on the thread as a result of their writing skills. At the end of the day, the thread having outlived its purposed gets abandoned, the victim is left to carry her his/her cross alone. My advice to you (babe3) is that if you truly want justice like you stated, then do it the right way. Get a lawyer, sue him for whatever charges you have compiled and tell us the Jury's verdict. EfemenaXY:My dear he's not Sauron just leave him. This doesn't even need to be debated upon. Sauron was here in Nigeria claiming to be in the uk while his lover (user name withheld) was overseas. Although there are much similarities between both cases (Sauron and Coogar) but its definitely not him. |
Good write-up |
FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Welcome back FREEDOM4BIAFRA:@ bolded. Our Senators, governors, notable politicians, academicians (Professors Phd holders...etc) chiefs, Ohaneze, prominent business men...etc FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Why complain about him (Uwazurike) selling us out? Cos I see no difference between his MASSOB and Kanu's IPOB. I see IPOB shifting grounds like MASSOB when the government eventually initiates a negotiation with them and bags of money start changing hands. What you should know is that most of the IPOB youths singing his (Kanu) praises are just doing it out of frustration. They're tired of their current status and believe that if Biafra is granted independence, things would be better. They would bend when FG bags of money start flowing in. Even if Kanu doesn't sell us out, his group (IPOB) would be compromised. Cos a faction would accept the FG juicy offer and turn on Kanu while some would reject the offer and remain loyal to him. At the end of the day, their (FG) aim would be achieved. (The group has been rendered useless) FREEDOM4BIAFRA:True. We have no Nigerian leaders only sellouts. Questions is who voted in these sellouts isn't it the same youths Look at T.A Orji, one would have believed that after his 8years of failure his political career would be rendered useless. But the reverse was the case. Today he's a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria courtesy of the youths. My point is if our leaders are sellouts, then our youths are also sellouts as well. Cos its them this so called sellout leaders use in achieving their goal. If Biafra becomes a reality, what makes you so sure that this same youths wouldn't sell us out to this same looters and crooks camouflaged as leaders? FREEDOM4BIAFRA:And what is a prospective student of the Igbo extraction doing in a region where he would have to bear abdul-muhammed before being considered for admission when there are lots of higher institutions in the SE? FREEDOM4BIAFRA:I never said so...my argument was what happens to those who will be joining us from Nigeria? Can we effectively set up agencies that would ensure that they get employed and paid in less than 6months? Can we trust those we elected that they wouldn't sell us out and embezzle the funds meant for the development of these agencies? Or are you saying that only saints and angels would exist in biafra? If the former happens, what then? those that left their comfort zones and joined us based on the promises and assurances we gave to them...how do we expect them to survive. Cos as far as I'm concerned a Nigerian is a Nigerian regardless of his geopolitical zone...all our leaders have proven to me that they cannot be trusted. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:True FREEDOM4BIAFRA:As far as I can tell, all our telecommunications headquarters are located in the SW. So for them to start creating HQ in the SE would take quite a while, years maybe. A lot of re-adjustments will have to be made. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:And how many embassies are in the SE...we are the most traveled tribe in Nigeria yet we don't even have any embassy in the SE. There's a very high possibility that the embassies would eventually find their way to Biafra but that would take a while (Years maybe) FREEDOM4BIAFRA:And how many states in the SE can boast of foreign investors? Isn't it the same unemployment we've been lamenting about? Even the banks which some would say are there and can recruit, how many villages in the SE can boast of banks? Some villages in the SE are more than 30minutes drive to where you can find banks. So how do you expect someone to invest there and higher unemployed youths. Wouldn't it increase robbery cos it would be easy for robbers to monitor you to know when you're going to the town to deposits the proceedings from your business sales? A friend of mine had to close down his pure water factory in his village cos of this issue. From his factory to the town where the banks are is about 30-45 minutes drive. He was robbed on several occasions on his way to the town to deposit the proceedings from his business because he was monitored by this bandits. He had to relocate to the town where the banks were easily accessible. We need development first my dear brother. Development would then bring in the investors who in turn would recruit as many qualified Biafran graduates as possible...the banks in turn would chase the investors to the villages, and more jobs would be created cos the new branches would need new staffs. And in a few years time, the villages would look more like towns. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:And you're 100% sure of this? I asked this earlier and will say it again...are we planing on hiring angels and saints to manage our economy for us? Cos if our current leaders failed to utilize the taxes they received, what makes you so certain that it (our taxes) would be properly managed when we eventually get biafra? FREEDOM4BIAFRA:I agree with you, it has to stop. That's why we southerners have to unite and stop attacking each other cos currently its obvious that we aren't united. In 2012 T.A. Orji sacked all the non-indigens in the Abia state house. If we cannot see our fellow igbo brothers from other SE states as one, then how do we intend to unite and un-seat the north? How do we even intend to achieve Biafra with such attitude? FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Why haven't we done that now? My brother these things you're saying isn't as easy as it seems. As embarrassing as it sounds, most villages in some SE states (I won't mention any) cannot boast of constant electricity no thanks to our leaders. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:True, but we need our state governors to invest in the state as well. Cos the best the Biafran government can benefit from IBETO is his tax. SE leaders need to put on their thinking caps and start engaging in project that would bring in huge income to the state as well as create job opportunities. Take lagos for example...the former governor (Fasola) introduced the BRT system, do you know how many jobs it generated as well as income for the state? Now I've read on Nairaland that the new governor (abode) is making plans to construct a rail system. This is what I expect our SE leaders to do. They should engage in projects that would benefit the Igbo youths by giving them jobs and boost the state's purse as well. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:True, but what have we done to help ourself? Look at the port in lagos, most of the importation there are done by our brothers and foreigners who own companies in lagos, do you know how much billions the lagos state government makes from importation alone on monthly basis? If Nigeria is making us unable to stand, its because we let them do so. What stops us from having a port in the SE, so all the billions made form it would be use to develop our region? FREEDOM4BIAFRA:I did. In fact that's what I'd advise any graduate to do if he/she is to survive in Nigeria FREEDOM4BIAFRA:We can't be so sure about that can we? I love to be objective in my reasoning. The Nigerian system has given me every reason to be. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:So why do one section of the youth endorse one person and another section endorses another, at the end of the day, we'll have a blood bath and another corrupt leader emerges? Look at Abia state during the general elections, APGA agreed to vote PDP's presidential candidate (Jonathan) since they didn't field in any presidential candidate, but agreed to vote their own candidates running for other positions. At the end of the day what happened? My point is why couldn't they just merge and bring out one candidate and stand by him? Why agree with someone to vote for his candidate running for one position, then take him to court for cheating you in other positions? That's dis-unity and inability to make proper political calculations. And its a major problem we face in the SE FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Noted! And for the records I'm not working against you, neither am I against Biafra. My argument is that we put our house (the SE) in order before embarking on this struggle. If you have an uncompleted building and you're having problems with your landlord, shouldn't the problems motivate you to finish your own house so you and your family can move in and be free from his problems? You certainly wouldn't want to move your family to the uncompleted building yet until you put it in a reasonable state which you feel would be comfortable for you and your family. That's my argument! I want us to put the SE in a more accommodating state, so that our brothers in the SW can start coming back home to invest, businesses would begin to thrive, our leaders would try as much as possible to make sure we have embassies in places like Enugu (since we are the ones that travel the most in all the tribes) we would work towards having a port in the SE, bring in foreign investors...etc then we can talk about Biafra. FREEDOM4BIAFRA:Noted! |
Swaziland are a strong side, but they shouldn't pose a threat to us considering the fact that we have more foreign based players than them. Go boys and make us proud like our U-17 did. I wish you guys the best. |
Op kindly post your source to back up this claims or else I'll see it as a propaganda generated by you to give misguided IPOB youths on NL hope when clearly there is none. |
Ngige, Onu, and co all accepted their ministerial appointments and promised to work with Buhari's government. The coalition of SE senators and Ohaneze Ndigbo haven't issued any statement on this biafra issue neither have they written the federal government on the continuous detention of Nnamdi kanu despite having met bail conditions. SE governors have all pledged to work with Buhari's government. Or will IPOB tell us that our SE ministers, governors, Ohaneze...etc are not recognized as true igbos simply because they aren't in support of their movement? I wonder why these IPOB youths can't see that they're on their own. The arrest of Nnamdi Kanu and continuous killing, wounding and arresting of IPOB members has confirmed that they're fighting a battle with no allies. (No international backing and no National backing from prominent Nigerians of the SE extraction). So why waste your life unnecessary? Why can't we demand for better leadership from our leaders since its obvious that they don't care about us? *Sighs* |
Hizzy:@bolded This post is so childish. So you would advise your fellow igbo brothers to their faces that they should sell or demolish their property, abandon their businesses and relocate to the SE? What do you have on ground in the SE for them when they come...nothing. What guarantee are you giving them that they would recover their loses in a few months...none. You're truly a child who knows very little of what it takes to own a property. Grow up son...no one is selling or demolishing their property. |
Blackkie:Lol...my brother when a movement isn't supported by notable and responsible leaders, those championing it would be seen as rebels. Why do you think Uwazurike failed, its because no responsible SE leader supported him. The responsible leaders are the ones who will stand behind us and ensure that the government listens to us. Currently, apart from a few youths, and online media, how many igbos even know who Nnamdi Kanu is? If we don't have any "notable and responsible" SE leader negotiating on our behalf how do you think this dream would work? Doesn't kanu's continued detention despite having met bail conditions tell you that our leaders have distanced themselves from the whole struggle? If he even had the support of a few leaders do you think he would still be in detention by now? Blackkie:Lol...they were the best minds Nigeria had at that time. Go and do your reserach. So I believe its safe to say they were powerful as well. Blackkie:Don't bother biko...I don't need it. Blackkie:"There will be similar parastatals in Biafra indeed. " And how are we going to go about the creation? Or will they just appear from nowhere? Can you give us a mathematical calculation of how we would generate funds in a space of months to establish a Biafran police force, Biafran Army, Biafran Immigration...etc and what guarantee do you have that every single one of the returnees would be employed? I'm asking for a stable economy in the SE first...let's achieve that then we will negotiate for Biafra. Try to understand where I'm coming from. Blackkie:And those offices will spring up over night right? What plans have been put in place for such offices? Please stop all this talk and show us facts. Blackkie:My dear brother, those that travel during christmas period stay in the SE for not more than 3weeks after which they will return back to their comfort zones. Secondly they travel with a specific financial budget for the Christmas celebration and not for permanent relocation...they don't come searching for jobs cos they already have jobs in their comfort zones...so this argument is baseless. Blackkie:Did you just ask this question? So we don't have Igbos in the military, the police, the immigration, the frsc...etc? Does the percentage really matter? My argument is do we have an already established parastatal where they will fit into once they relocate? If yes kindly explain to us. Blackkie:True...but you're forgetting that most igbos have business which are thriving outside the SE. That you don't own any shouldn't make you sound so selfish in your reasoning. If you want an igbo man to close down his company which he spent years to establish and relocate to the SE, you should be able to convince him with facts not promises and sweet words that he wouldn't regret his action. Blackkie:I didn't start my thread to compare the standard of living in the SE to those in northern states. Blackkie:Arguably true...anambra links delta, imo, enugu and abia states directly... It has a better road network than lagos...I don't remember saying otherwise on my thread. Blackkie:And you're the one who will ensure that standby generators would be placed in homes and offices once biafra is achieved right? Blackkie:True and I'm glad you put Nigeria not Biafra. Now how many of these professors have openly come out to support the biafran dream? Before we begin to boast about this achievement, we should have them on our side first. Cos as far as am concerned, they're just going about their day-to-day activities paying little or no attention to the Biafran movement. So its safe to conclude that they don't give a damm. Blackkie:Everyone knows this...nothern schools are the least on the ranking. My argument was about infrastructure. Blackkie:Are you saying we're in a sorry state? Yes we are Are you're refering to biafra as the moon in the sky? If yes, then we should look for a means on how to come out of our sorry state so we can have a proper view of the moon in the sky. If it (the proverb) has a differnt meaning from what I wrote, kindly explain it to us... Blackkie:And what has it achieved? Our responsible leaders have remained mute. Kanu is rotting away in jail despite meeting bail conditions. The Nigerian government hasn't issued any statement in regards to this biafran struggle (I stand to be corrected) So what has the non-violent protest achieved apart from having our brothers being shot dead, wounded and arrested? Blackkie:Nnamdi Azikiwe is dead so don't bring him into this matter. My question is how do we intend to stand independently with no FG allocation if Biafra is decleared today. What do we have on ground in the SE states that can generate an equivalent of the FG allocation for us? Give me a direct answer and stop bleating around the bush. Blackkie:I never painted Ebonyi as a poor state. I only made mention of the light issue afikpo is currently facing (up till now) and how dave (the governor) is making life miserable for people. Anybody living in Ebonyi state would agree with what I said. Blackkie:And how many oils drilled from Anambra, Imo, Enugu and Abia has been used to develope those states and create enough job opportunities? Wouldn't you eat to your satisfaction before you consider about giving some to those who need it? If we cannot use the oil in those SE states to develop our region, what makes you so certain that we will do so when biafra becomes a reality? Or are you planing to employ and vote in saints and angels to manage the biafran affairs? If we cannot choose credible leaders amongst ourselves would give us good governance, how are we sure that this present corrupt leaders wouldn't highjack the whole prosess and continue their self centered governance? Blackkie:My brother I'm not abandoning you...my arguments are in the best interest of Ndigbo in general Blackkie:True but that still doesn't justify Rochas actions, neither will it earse the fact that he prefers to patronise foreign compaines at the expense of the indigenous ones. Blackkie:Far better option indeed. Who are going to be the leaders of this so call biafra, wouldn't it be the same people who have looted us dry? Why is this biafran struggle done by the youths only? If there's one thing I know, its that youths are easily compromised. If this biafran struggle becomes a reality I wouldn't be surprised when I see the likes of Orji Uzo kalu, T.A. Orji, Ohakim, Rochas, Ngige, Andy Uba, Nnamani, Sam Egwu...etc bribing, killing, and blackmailing each other just to get juicy slots in the new biafran government. And sadly its the same youths who protested, died, went to jail...etc who wouldn't hasitate to pick up arms and ensure that this same looters and crooks get into power. That's my fear. Blackkie:Examples include.... Blackkie:*exhales* Just tell me how we plan on achieving that and I would pledge my loyalty to the movement. |
sinaj:What does it mean...I see it on nairaland almost on a daily basis. |
pazienza:Have you listened to Nnamdi kanu's broadcast at all? Its obvious that you haven't cos if you have you wouldn't put up this reply. My dear wake up...kanu wants war he has said so countless times, he even boasts of having a weaponry factory and an army of over 10,000 volunteers. If you had listened to his broadcasts and then his interview you would call him a lunatic. Cos he has nothing on ground...he's just leading our brothers to be slaughtered by security operatives. |
mandax:Lol at your reasoning If we can't select credible leaders to govern in the SE, what difference will it make if Biafra becomes a reality? Wouldn't it be the same crooks and criminals who would still be elected at the expense of we the youths, and we the youths would be the ones hailing and singing their praises. T.A. Orji was elected by the same youths into the senate after 8years of failure as a governor. Dave was elected as governor by the same youths after 8 years of being a deputy to Elechi's failed Administration. Wake up bro, if we cannot choose our leaders now, when we eventually get Biafra our problems would be compounded. |
erico2k2:That's the problem. Most of the people ranting here didn't watch Nnamdi kanu's video interview before he was arrested. The guy has nothing on ground...you're ready to wage a war yet you don't even have a well fortified military base to operate from. Isn't that funny? I wish I could post that video link here so most of us (igbo youths) would be enlightened. If you want to follow a leader, he must be able to convince you that he's worth ruling and is ready to defend and lay down his life for you. What does Nnamdi kanu have apart from radio biafra? If war breaks out in the SE today it would be worse than the first biafran was cos the SS wouldn't join us. Meaning operation from the sea would be zero...so how do we bring in ammunitions, food, first aid materials...etc? Let's be logical in our reasoning please. |
EUROBOMBER:I wonder why the average igbo youth can't even reason. Even if Biafra is to become a reality, now is certainly not the time. Cos we aren't economically capable of shouldering the responsibilities and challenges we're definitely going to encounter. Let our youths channel their aggression towards our leaders and demand for a better leadership in the south east. |
egift:Thanks for being able to reason with me on this issue. |
Its no longer news hearing the ongoing protests in various part of the SE by the IPOB youths. In as much as I'm of the SE extraction, I want my fellow South Easterners to be rational and objective in their thinking. Biafra shouldn't be our priority now. The reasons why I'm of the opinion that Biafra shouldn't be our priority are: 1. Most powerful Igbos leaders are against it: Those of us with strong memories would agree with me that Nnamdi Kanu isn't the first person to follow this path. Years ago during Obasanjo's administration, Mr Ralph Uwazurike the leader of MASSOB attempted something similar. What was the result...he spent years locked up in an underground cell, his members were jailed many are still in jail as we speak, some even lost their precious lives. The then igbo leaders who even had the senate leadership then did nothing, why cos they weren't ready to relinquish their positions and Federal Government appointments for Uwazurike's movement. If nothing was done by the SE leaders then, what makes the youths so certain that they'll lift a finger towards their course now considering the fact that most of our leaders are self centered? 2. Thousands and even millions of South Easterners are likely going to be plunged into the job market upon declaration of Biafra: Its most likely that if the biafran dream is actualized today, Igbos working in various Nigerian government parastatals across the federation would automatically loose their job. Starting from Igbos in the military (Army, Airforce and Navy), to Civil Service, to the Nigerian Police Force, NSCDC, Customs, Immigration, FRSC, EFCC, ICPC, The Ministry, Ministers and Senators from the biafran territory will no longer be recognized in the Nigerian Senate, ...etc. Can we cope with that, noting that the current economy of some SE states isn't something to be proud about, and we can't even secure employment for those living there how much more when you have a mass exodus of people relocating home. How will they survive? Germany requested for thousands of Syrian refugees because they have a very good economy to settle them in months. We should understand that if Biafra is declared, a similar mass exodus would be experienced. Question is do we have a plan to absorb the thousands who probably would be relieved of their duties by the Nigerian Federal Government into the biafran economy and create such parastatals for them with a short period of time so they can work and take care of their families? These are questions we need to ask ourselves. 3. The SE is improvised: We deserve a good leadership in the SE not biafra: Currently, we lack good roads, we lack constant electricity, we lack well equipped government primary and secondary schools, we lack portable drinking water...etc. Why should secession be our priority? Few months ago, Afikpo youths comprising of Amasiri, Edda, Uwanna...etc blocked the roads to protest 2years of blackout in Afikpo. (The thread was even on Nairaland) I witnessed that protest live cos I was in Amasiri (Ebotrans park) en route Abakaliki and was delayed by the protesters for over an hour because the whole roads leading to Abakaliki were all blocked. If Afikpo which is agurably the second largest town with the best economy in Ebonyi state after Abakaliki can be in darkness for 2years, then I think its time for us to go back to the drawing board. Cos we can't expect the biafra economy to survive in darkness. We should also be bothered about the number of our educated minds finding their way to other geopolitical zones outside the SE in search of greener pastures. That's another indication to tell us that our economy needs serious rehabilitation. If we're so bent on making biafra a reality then we should beginning to hold our leaders accountable to every promise they made to us during the past elections Great nations are ruled by great minds not thieves, crooks and heartless looters camouflaging themselves as leaders to enrich their 20th generation. It is time for the Igbo youths to come together and reverse the trend of ubiquitous leadership ravishing igbo land and put up a system that would enable the best of us emerge as leaders. Our leaders are our problem, therefore we should direct our aggression towards them. Because even if the biafran dream becomes a reality, I doubt we would survive up to 3years considering the kind of crooks we have as leaders. We should try to understand that Biafra isn't the solution to the problems we're currently facing in the SE. If we fail to address the issue of bad leadership then biafra will be a case of "Dead On Arrival". 4. Inability to stand Independently: A child only thinks of leaving his parents home to cater for himself when feels he's matured enough to survive independently. If we're sincere enough, you'll all agree with me that most SE states cannot survive without FG allocation. Currently people in Ebony are experiencing serious hardship. No thanks to the Governor (Dave) who has slashed their salaries for no good reason. Imo state isn't left out of the suffering as state workers there are also experiencing hardship as well. We have FG allocations yet our Governors cannot pay their workers, and cannot make the state habitable for its people by providing basic amenities. What do you think would happen if the allocation stops? A few years back when Rochas announced that he wants all secondary schools in imo state to put on a particular school uniform. Yes it was a welcome development to reduce discrimination's amongst schools. But most people frowned at him when he contracted the job to a Chinese company. Why would a governor contract a job to a Chinese company for billions of naira when there are so many indigenous companies in the SE that would do it for a far lesser amount? If our leaders are interested in developing the SE why have they refused to invest in the numerous untapped resources in the SE? Or are they scared that their successors would become the direct benefactors when they leave office? Isn't that a myopic way of reasoning? 5. Dis-unity and inability to make accurate political calculations: From the 1999 till date, while people of other regions had managed to unite behind their candidate of choice in virtually all elections that had been held, we have always failed to do so. I wasn't born during the civil war so I have very little knowledge about Ojukwu's acceptance by the general Igbo populace then. But I remember vividly in 2003 how he (Ojukwu) lost that election in the SE to PDP's Obasanjo. It was recorded that Obasanjo had a thrilling 69.46% of votes from the SE. If we sincerely wanted power that year why didn't we rally round Ojukwu and give him our support like we did during the civil war? Even when Alex Ekwueme contested the PDP primaries against Obasanjo the same year (2003). That attempt clearly outlined the dis unity amongst our leaders, because most PDP governors of SE states openly campaigned against their own son and supported the same Obsanjo. Ever since I became knowledgeable of the events happening around me, I've never witnessed any election in Nigeria where we (Igbos) emphatically agreed and produced a candidate of the Igbo extraction acceptable to the whole nation and backed him aggressively. Just as President Buhari was backed by his kinsmen and practically other tribes. In all the elections however from 1999-till date, we (Igbos) have failed to present a formidable candidate. We don't even have a formidable political party to start with in the SE. The APGA which was created by Ojukwu has only the governorship seat in Anambra state to boast of. The North and the SW easily formed an alliance because they had formidable parties they were all loyal to. My point is that if we cannot determine our political relevance here in Nigeria, we'll keep having problems among ourselves should biafra become a reality. Solution: We are all Nigerians so we should work towards the growth of this country. To my IPOB brothers, I will say sheath your swords. Don't waste your precious lives, MASSOB has followed that path, and today their members in jail are yet to get justice and those that lost their lives as a result of the struggle have been forgotten. If you die in this struggle you will be forgotten, your name wouldn't even be mentioned anywhere as a hero. Our leaders don't care, their kids are all abroad so when a stray bullet from a happy trigger policeman hits you, you're gone. No justice! Anyi Ga-eme Mbaa Ka Ódi Ukwuu Ma Öbúrú Na Agbúrú Nille Ga Etikota Aka Rúó Órú Ma Gharakwa Ì Na-ata Ndi Ózó Uta Mgbe Ihe Mgberede Dakwasiri Anyi.E Kwenyerem Nigïria Ga Adikwa Ukwúú ÖZÖ. |
Neroclassic:I doubt...the former comptroller was |
The rate at which these scammers come up with new innovations to perfect their trade, if they put in the same efforts towards developing an aspect of the economy, this country would be a better place for us all. |
yomi007k:When the gospel has sunk deep into the hearts of people, those evils you mentioned would be reduced. The problem why corruption, killings...etc thrives in Nigeria today is because we place self before every other thing. We fail to keep the greatest commandment which is "LOVE" when you love someone, you wouldn't tie a bomb around yourself to blow him off, you wouldn't cheat him in a business, you wouldn't refuse to assist him get a job if you have the means... Only hatred brings such attitude. |
yomi007k:Jesus instructed us to spread the gospel far across the ends of the earth. So that's exactly what they're doing...they're simply obeying God's instructions. |
yomi007k:Yes its going to the pastor, but the pastor is working for God. In luke 10:7 Jesus said And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. What does the word "eating and drinking" mean...I'll explain. Most pastors work full time which means their survival depends on the tithes and offerings. Others are posted to remote villages to preach the gospel with little or nothing given to them for survival. How do you expect them to cope if you have the intention of giving N10 offering? During Jesus stay on earth, despite the fact that he never worked, it was recorded that he had a tax collector, a tax collector can be interpreted to as an accountant. So its safe to conclude that Jesus had an account. Question is who were funding the account, it was simply his followers who were touched by his message...that's how his ministry was able to survive. Cos people were bringing in offerings, donations...etc. When we become stingy to God's work, we're simply hindering the flow of the gospel. When you give N10 to God's servant and expect him to run the church and his family with it, don't complain when you're being owed 3-8months salary in your place of work cos you brought it upon yourself. |
