Jamie1:Stop believing every rumor you hear. Better still confirm every rumor from the NYSC official website. There's definitely going to be a batch B by june. The reason batch A was skipped last year was because of the general elections. The elections are over now so why skip batch B? Whoever told you there wouldn't be a batch B should give you a tangible reason why he's of that opinion. And like I stated earlier, ignore any rumor that say there wouldn't be any batch B. |
Present...sorry for being late. |
He can't even speak good English...only a greedy person will fall for this. |
luxanne:I replied your mail 15 minutes after it was sent. I should be the one awaiting your reply not the other way round. |
Mynd44:Personal issues I guess...enjoy your night. |
Mynd44:Eyah...you can make this year's Christmas a merry Christmas. Its not too late. |
Mynd44:You fall under the category of those who don't believe Christ was born on 25th December right? |
I'm preparing for christmas. ![]() Merry christmas rocky, ayobase, mynd44...and the whole house |
Foolish man. How can you be desiring another man's wife? His kids are in a debt of about N108,400. Now N200,000 he would need to bail himself out of this mess plus the shame tagged to his name all for few minutes pleasure. I hope he's happy now. |
GenOrumov:This would be much better GenOrumov:The reason our budget keeps climbing up is because most of our leaders are lazy and myopic. Its no longer news that some governors borrow to run their state. They keep borrowing and have very little to show for it. We have solid minerals, arable lands, and a very large population that can be used to woo foreign investors yet what have our leaders done? If we had leaders with vision, most states should be independent by now. Not gathering every month in Abuja to share proceedings from our crude. The pressure on the center (FG) is so much. The center can't hold anymore. That's why now even our precious crude isn't even enough to finance our budget like you pointed out. |
Crude oil is sold on the international market for less than $40 per barrel. Therefore it would be myopic to rely on that to run the economy considering the fact that we've lost most of our top customers. What the buhari administration should do is to get our refineries running, and even build more. Yes you heard me right...!!! We need to build more refineries. The money recovered from the last administration should be enough to to do that. Let's discard this mentality of looking for foreign buyers for our crude when the larger percentage of our population are crying daily for refined products. Let's refine this crude here in Nigeria, consume it locally and sell some to Neighboring African countries. I'm sure that the money the government would make from the local consumption of the refined crude oil products would surpass what we were likely to make if we sold it as raw crude. And it should be enough to finance the country's budget if managed properly. |
fortune1968:True some women are terrible when it comes to money. But she's his wife not his girlfriend. So however she chooses to run her husband's business will have a positive or negative effect on the family. I would have advised him to hire a manager, but that would be worse considering how nonchalant most Nigerians behave when managing other peoples businesses. His wife is his best option for now. |
A lot of young Nigerian graduates earn far less under more terrible working conditions and still hope and believe things will get better someday. Eight years is enough time for him to have saved something reasonable to become a boss of his own considering what he earns per month. My advice is that he should start the business while maintaining his current job, put his wife there and monitor his profit after removing his capital, cost of maintenance, tax and other expenses. If he's happy with that he sees, then he can happily quit his current job, Good luck. |
drberry:Lol its almost the same issue I raised on my thread...we christians should start showing our lord Jesus Christ some respect. Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Christians were first called that name in Antioch cos they exhibited the qualities and characteristics of Christ. People saw Christ in them and decided to name them after their master. Now removing Christ and replacing it with X shows we (Christians) have very little reference for Christ. It shows that Christ isn't in us, cos if he is, and we have reference for him, we wouldn't nickname him X. |
ifyalways:The pictures (especially the first one) looks like an accident scene. Look at the man in native attire sitting on the ground, the cut on his head looks like a wound sustained in an accident and not in a shoot-out. The tarred road confirmed it. If they (the Nigerian army) invaded their leaders house, I expected to see pictures of the compounds and shite muslims in their traditional black attire. Not this. This picture is a folly. |
charlsecy:You're not making any sense. So because Christ (Χριστός) in greek begins with the letter X, so we should call him X according to your logic..pathetic! X as an alphabet in greek can mean anything just as C which is the first alphabet for the word Christ in English language can mean anything. C could be chalk, chair, cream...etc. So by saying C, it doesn't translate to you referring to Christ, you will have to spell the alphabet in full so people would understand you're referring to Christ. |
Any company that advertises a job vacancy, then goes ahead to request for cash from prospective employees are definitely scammers. Desperation shouldn't let you part with the little money you have that should have been used for something much better. |
Mynd44:Then he should implement the confab report of the last administration. Let the 6geopolitical zones use their various resources to develop their regions. If you're honest you'll agree with me that the SE has been sidelined in buhari's administration. This issue of segregating some zones and favouring other zones wouldn't take us anywhere. Besides the implementation of the confab report would bring development in the various zones cos people wouldn't be trooping in mass to a particular zone to seek greener pastures. Everyone would prefer to stay and develop his own geopolitical zone. We wouldn't have to depend on the federal government for survival. If buhari claims to run a corrupt free and transparent government, why is he finding it so difficult to implement it? |
Same soldiers that abandoned their base along with their weapons and fled for their lives are shooting at un-armed civilians? Buhari should know that the fragile Nigerian army cannot survive a war on two fronts (North and SE) this bloodshed wouldn't take us anywhere. This is democracy we demand a referendum. Let the masses decide what they want on the whole issue. To my slain brothers, RIP God in his infinite mercies would pardon your sins and accept you into his kingdom. |
If your friend failed as a volunteer staff, he wouldn't have been recommended by his boss to his friend's much better firm. The moral lesson from this story is that in everything one does, he should put in his best regardless of what goes into his pocket at the end of the month. |
