the next is that he will leave sighting health reasons. he will stay abroad and enjoy his ill gotten wealth pending when another member of his group will come into powercorrect. |
mikeansy, could you please point to one thing i've done wrong to deserve this kind of treatment from you? |
you have a point, but i honestly do not believe in punishing children for the sin of their parents. i see dapolam as a young man who is honestly trying to turn the page. he isn't perfect, but he's sincerely reaching out to do the right thing. he should be given a chance to completely present what he's selling and allow nigerians to make their choice. ribadu on the other hand appears to me as self centered individual, who loves power much more than nigeria as his country. the man had his chance, but blew it. therefore, it is unfair to attempt to compare dapolam's story to ribadu's ridiculous state of mind. |
kobo love, you should leave cre8tivity out of this mess. i think this is what ribadu has been seeking for, for the past few weeks. now that he finally got his wish, what is next? |
you work directly for the president, utmost power is given to you, very large funds is made available to you and you have the top security personnel to protect you. your job description is to simply torment the names on the list given to you by the president. how hard it is to get your job done? |
maxell, just because i refuse to side with ribadu automatically means my father was the governor of edo state. abeg go somewhere. |
it is real that ribadu has been dismissed. now that it is no longer feasible for him to become the next ig or return back as the chairman of efcc, what is then next for this wonderful nigerian? 1. leave the country for few years? 2. leave the country forever? 3. face all the charges? 4. start apologizing process? 5. stay cool and see what happens? 6. take fg/npf to court? 7. seek for a position with un? 8. come clean? 9. join el-rufai in uk? 10. relocate to ota farm? |
texazzpete, i think i have an answer: this is an answer from a typical nigerian mind. oh well, you know, uhm, you see, ribadu tried his best. he may not be clean, but he tried his best. ah, ehn, at least selective justice is better than nothing. |
If a Genie appears here and asks you if you can bet your life that Ribadu is innocent of all the charges of corruption brought against him, what would you answer?a great question. i look forward to reading bunch of answers. |
why don't you ask ribadu to give you the numbers of voting machines that were distributed during the last election? gbam and you would see how quick he would run |
why don't you test me by starting a topic on ibori. i may be too aggressive on this topic, may be because i'm very close to what really went down during obasojo's tenure. i'm not related to any ex governor, in fact they all could go straight to hell. a true nigerian should be against stupidity. |
dayokano, good point. and if you say something, it means your father is an ex governor. nigerians just don't get it. they prefer 140m rules and regulations for each citizens. what a sad group of people. |
God, see me see trouble, you people are now turning against me. this is not the way. i wasn't responsible for the demotion or dismissal. my only problem with ribadu was intentionally and boldly disobeying the rule of law. if you don't believe me, please start a topic on one of the thieves and see how it would be handled. nobody is above the law, if only 40% of nigerians could have similar state of mind, nigeria as a nation would be a better place for all of us. you can not buy me and my love for democracy will be forever. a man that feels is bigger than the nation must be brought down on his knees. that is the standard code. we are all nigerians before anything else. adedibu got away with fooling around with the rule of law, and ibadan people are still paying till today. a great citizen must obey the law regardless of what may be going on. an american soldier that lost both legs fighting for his country must still come back home to obey the rule of law just like the rest of the citizens. ribadu was just an ordinary out of control police officer, his wings needed to be clipped. |
ribadu was in love with power than nigeria as his country. just in case you did not know, it is a known sayania all over abuja that there is no way anybody could work with obasojo without getting dirty, even if you don't want to. when you sleep next to a dirty dog that has ticks, don't be surprised when you wake up with ticks all over your ass. it doesn't necessarily mean you like ticks, but shit happens. this is what is going on with ribadu and el-rufai. with time we shall all be notified. |
dayokanu, you're very correct. they prefer the man alive more than anything else. this is the man that treated the vp of nigeria like a common dog. he forgot that democracy doesn't permit it. a true lesson for all: you may forget today, but tomorrow will not be forgoten so quick. my credit goes to this administration, believe it or not, they gave ribadu enough time to get himself together, but the idiot wouldn't get it. in other country, the fool would have been toasted many month ago |
what did you expect? did you expect the fg to allow ribadu to continue with his stupidity? i don't think so, the npf has done well. the fight must continue. the next thing we should concentrate on is making sure that waziri is doing her job accordingly. life goes on, we must move on. i think ribadu has placed a stamp on his own career. let's kiss this badboy good night. |
do you guys have any info regarding when he's going to be arrested? |
i think in addition, ribadu should also be punished for wasting our time and money. |
where is obasojo and the former igp? |
darling texazzpete, you're a good man, a great nigerian indeed. your post is very true. |
luka1981 love, for you to ask those questions, it shows that you're corrupted, you just don't know it. it is sad that someone must be related to an ex governor to disagree with ribadu's stupidity. |
He should suffer the humilation and more and this should be a lesson to other power hungry people that think they can rough shed people during their time in power as if it will never end. In fact through out his tenure he acted as if he wasnt a police officer and responsible to the police force. |
? |
ibori is next. the rule of law must be obeyed by all. everybody must be treated equally. nobody is above the law. thank God for democracy. democracy for all democracy forever. the only way out of darkness. |
not a good move for ribadu. ribadu as a dismissed officer or as an officer that was dismissed because he intentionally refused to show up for work and also disobeyed the rules and regulations, he wouldn't be able to hold any un position or fg position in nigeria. futhermore, now that he has been dismissed, he has no choice, but to come and answer all these questions. believe me, the answers are not favorable to him. it is a matter of time, it would all be out for us. |
yaradua has nothing to do with this. npf has rules and regulations that must be obeyed at all time by every single officer. ribadu has made it clear several times that he wasn't going to obey any of these rules. he was given more than enough time to get himself together, but he refused. what else is left? look people, nigeria police force has other officers that are watching every step. you can not disobey the rules and get away with it. i think npf has done the right thing. i'm sure that other officers got the message. |
when you fight corruption with corruption= unpleasant outcome when you think you're bigger than the law= unpleasant outcome when you disrespect your seniors = unpleasant outcome when you operate selectively = unpleasant outcome when you think you're bigger than nigeria = unpleasant outcome when you accept illegal promotion = unpleasant outcome. i see nothing wrong with this move, i think it is a great lesson for the youth. doing the right is fine, as long as the right thing is done correctly and accordingly. now, the next step is to arrest him, i think the great citizens of nigeria deserve to have answers to all these unanswered questions. |
when you intentionally don't show up at work, could someone please tell what usually happens? look, i'm not trying to support any illegal action of this administration, but nigerians must support doing the right thing correctly, regardless of the matter. |
No Excuse, If the time is convenient i will appear; but they have to pay for my flight and accomodation, as I don't work for them, The present EFCC are going about things in the wrong way, they should do the right thing, don't care who ox is gored, move, this was posted for mamajama yesterday: mamajama love, just in case you did not know: ribadu and el-rufai are not just average nigerian citizens, they were parts of the top federal government officials. for example, when fbi is seeking to question any united states citizen for anything, you will never hear this type of weak or ridiculous excuses and you do not dispatch a lawyer to represent you when you're being wanted for questioning. you could request for the presence of your lawyer during the questioning, but it is purely your responsibility to make yourself available immediately. if you need assistance in making yourself available, your lawyer could then put in an official request for assistance. this request may or may not be approved by the fg, it all depends on your circumstance. mamajama, as a lawyer, i thought simple scenario like this should be very clear to you. oh well, i guess you don't expect much from a community lawyer. |
no excuse, the rules of law must be obeyed by all at all time. |
move love: when you're invited by efcc, what would your excuse be? |
do you think ribadu and el-rufia have 2 heads each? do you think these people are too damn special to obey rules of law just like you and i? |
