Phones / Re: Some Places Where Use Of Phone Is Prohibited But People Dont Obey by cristweeezy(m): 2:39pm On Sep 28, 2015
kstadaura:
The way people are obsessed with their phones nowadays is really alarming, it makes them lose control and not concentrate on most of the things they are doing. This is more common among youths and they dont obey rules regarding phone.

Here are some places where use of phone is prohibited but people in general dont obey.

1) Petrol station: many people make use of their phones in the petrol station despite the obvious sign that use of phone is strictly prohibited.

2) Bank: Most banks prohibit use of phone while you are inside their building but even the banks guards will only remaind you of the rule if they see that you are a poor man.

3) worshiping places: Most mosques and churches prohibit use of phone bt people dont even care to obey for once.

4) When driving: This is more disturbing you will see someone speeding in a car and making call or chatting or put headphones, i use to wonder whats the use of the car radio?

5)In class: we all know that even if you are not told to not use your phone while there is lecturer/teacher in your class you should not.

6)Taking your phone to toilet: Alot of people are guilty of this, they take their phones with them to toilet and make use of them therein, this is a bad habit and makes you stay longer than usual inside the toilet.

Add yours.

So I know you'll tell me school first and face your books. Yes, I know all that. I'll be 17 in two months. I'm intelligent and i do very well in school. Most of you guys have passed through my stage and I hope you understand that this is the stage where you start having feelings for the opposite sex. So I hope this doesn't sound like I'm a bad girl or something like that. I don't want you to say things like "what is this generation turning into?" because I'm very sure it happened in the previous generation and there are evidences such as the single mums that i see that got pregnant then. Long story short, there is a boy i like and he likes me too and he just asked me out. I made it very clear to him that we are not going to get intimate and he is very okay with it. I know you'll say it can happen by accident but i know that the only place we can get intimate is at a lonely place so all I'll have to do is to avoid it. The thing now is that do you think getting into a relationship at 16 is quite okay. Mind you, I'll soon be 17.

Ik Ogbonna’s wife and new mom, Sonia Ogbonna is angry with haters on her Instagram page. She recently came under fire by Nigerians who accused her of using a waist trainer to achieve her tiny waist.

Sonia who is apparently upset about it all, pulled her top up, took a photo and posted it on instagram asking them to show her the waist trainer.

She captioned it, ‘Waist trainer? Bish Where’. See post after the cut....

NYSC / Re: NYSC: A Litmus Test For A Faithful Wife/girlfriend by cristweeezy(m): 7:48pm On Sep 20, 2015
Tomjazzy2:
Having successfully concluded my one year compulsory service to the nation, I can categorically say here that, any girl/lady who doesn't cheat, or attempts to cheat on her partner/husband during her service year, will to a very large extent, remain loyal and faithful for the rest of her life; take it from me.

The reason for the afore assertion is not far-fetched; NYSC is generally perceived as an avenue to engage, even if for the last time, in all maners of immoralities. During this period, you can hardly differentiate a married lady from a single lady; they all want to catch the fun with out any form of social discrimination from their colleagues. Most married ladies go as far as taking off their sacred wedding rings once they put on that revered, or perhaps cursed khaki.

I remember quite vividly, the frown that greeted me the day I curiously, but politely asked a married lady in my platoon, why she wasn't working on redeploying back to the state where her husband was residing. The stern look on her face as she looked at me, could be vaguely interpreted to mean, "wtf! do I look too old to be in this camp?"

Carry out a quick but careful study, you'd be surprised to find out the number of female corp members, that get married just few weeks after POP, who were hitherto, your close/intimate female friends.

I will NEVER advice any reasonable man, to allow his wife particularly, and may be his fiancee, to be deployed outside his state of residence. But if he wants to put her character to test, then there isn't any test which can be as rigorous and complex as the NYSC (Not recommended) smiley

NB: the above post is made with out prejudice to the sound moral and ethical standards, which the NYSC scheme is built upon.

it happened to two of ma friends. Both of dem went through a 5-yr course and theirs GFs back in skul went through a 4-yr course which made the girls to go for service bfore dose guys. Though, the two guys don't know each other,it happened @ a different time and year. Their respective GFs saw anoda guys dere and all they could do was to send messages they were no more interested in the relationships.
