Travel / Nigeria Is A Failed Miserable Country by cronsberg: 5:17pm On Apr 29, 2020
Afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Before I start, let me ask just one question, in your own opinion, is this country really worth living in at all? Or is it really habitable?
I am in extreme regrets and in utter frustration as to why I was born here. And this makes me honestly hate my parents for choosing to remain here despite having the exposure, means and capacity to escape this country for good, but nonetheless chose to stay here believing that things will get better. How unwise they were back then, that choice of theirs back then sentenced us now to a lifetime of frustration, failed dreams, avoidable risks and threats, unwarranted suffering and miserable lifes. My parents failed me, I will make sure not to fail my children.
Since I was born 30years ago, not once have I experienced uninterrupted power supply in this country. for 30yrs it has been the same exact excuse of shortage of gas or low water levels. for 30yrs o. if since the time of my parents it did not get better, why will I believe it will be better now?
since I was born, all I know is all our leaders, governors, chairmen or even councillors we're busy living large in mansions, driving expensive cars etc while 99% of the masses were suffering, and it is the masses that put them there o. what an irony right?
SInce I was born, everything from getting a job, to getting healthcare, to quality education to water has always been impossible. how then do we survive in this country? no honestly, HOW? do people even know that the wealth in which our presidents and senators use in buying those expensive SUV's supposed to be for the masses? do you know that we suppose to go on rampage and revolt because of the suffering we are going through, those leaders supposed to be afraid of the masses not the other way around. do you know it is not normal to praise or go and beg any so called leader? you elected him to actually serve you and your interest. we literally don't know our rights in this country.
If it is about the present day, I believe it is even worse than before. In my location now, they bring light for 10 minutes and off it goes for 4 hours straight then it is back again and the circle continues, such that you only end up getting a total of 2 hours light in 24hrs, mind you the weather has been consistently hot for the past 3 months now. coupled with the lockdown and expensive food in the market, I ask again, how do we survive and prosper in this country?
Lastly, let us not deceive ourselves, don't even lie to yourself like our parents lied to themselves that Nigeria will get better. it will never happen. If you look at the facts, No single power station has been built and put to use since the 1970s, also no single massive public water supply project has been built since then, we still don't have a single standard public hospital in this country up till now. research centers? zero. public schools? zero. is this country really created for humans to Live in? So if all these things are missing, are you honestly not lying to yourself if you think that things are going to be better? Not in the next 50 years, by which time you have already gotten old and your children has grown to find themselves in this same mess. please don't do that to your children. This message is free of charge and I will urge any well meaning individual who loves himself and his future to LEAVE THIS COUNTRY IF YOU HAVE THE MEANS. Trust me, Nigeria has no future. nothing good at least.

Health / Re: COVID-19: Lockdown Or No Lockdown - Which Side Are You? by cronsberg: 2:44am On Apr 27, 2020
From my own perspective, the bitter truth is that this Corona virus of a thing will have to be allowed to run it's course. those that will die will die, those that will survive will survive and heal. Because which ever way you look at it, humankind is completely powerless. If you lock down, people will eventually be hungry enough or awaken enough to realize that a minority set of people calling themselves "government" are ruining their lives by telling them to stay at home yet won't provide them food and in the meantime paying themselves millions while telling everybody that the country has no money. people will eventually be awaken enough to revolt when they realize real power supposed to be with the people. on t other hand, if you remove the lockdown, there is a real danger of the virus spreading, for which there is no cure as of now. so which ever way you look at the situation, the virus must run it's course, lockdown or no lockdown

I have long observed that women generally has a problem. when ever they are put in charge of something or in a position of authority, they simply can't wait to abuse that previledge. whether it's somebody's child under their custody or being a boss in an organization, they must try to abuse that previledge. that's why women shouldn't be put in charge of anything really.they simply can't handle it. that leadership ability and discipline simply isn't available.

this woman really doesn't know what she's doing. can you imagine something that was been run so effectively under the vice president is now seeming to be an impossible task? what the hell is wrong with women sef? what is she honestly trying to study that wasn't studied and put together properly and was functioning smoothly before? in fact the whole purpose of the program is now defeated. giving emergency social safety net to the youths is now something she needs to study and justify in her head first before paying the youth who worked for it? who the hell reasons like that? who the hell even told her to study and justify anything? the list is there already as it always was, just forward their payments to them you are there talking long bullshitzzzzz. I really do hate women in position of power. they simply can't wait to abuse the power and responsibility given to them

I was pleasantly shocked to see the massive industrial complexes inaugurated by buhari in akure yesterday. I never thought those kind of things will exist in places like akure. so some states are silently achieving things without noise, also very impressed with Edo, if you see the kind of factories been built there. my region the north east really need to pickup on this industrialization thing quickly.

Tell me one book any of your people authored?

Just one book written by a Fulani that is useful to humans

We have the distinction of producing a Nobel Laureate
You produced a Nobel laureate in what exactly? in literature? mteeeeeew. what exactly is the usefulness of literature to humanity? I might currently hate Nigeria as a whole, but the reality on ground now is that besides Lagos, no south Western state can match Kano or Kaduna or gombe or bauchi in anything you can think of. I challenge you to prove me wrong
Politics / Re: Why Every Sector In Nigeria Is Failing Unlike South Africa by cronsberg: 11:42am On Feb 07, 2020
I am a Nigerian, but I myself am highly disappointed in my country. Without even mincing words I will say I really regret being Nigerian. I don't even think people realize how extremely rotten this country has gotten. Tell me one thing that is functioning properly here. Recently Even the telecoms industry is dying down. Can you imagine experiencing cut calls, extremely disfunctional internet, calls that have just gotten more expensive with the VAT increase, a whole country where no single highway is safe anymore. Highway robbers in this 21st century? Common mehn. Only death can stop me from leaving this country. Mteeeeeew very disfunctional country

Angry bosses are due to Nigerian finacial condition, paying stafs seem like a huge sacrifice to them and they somehow feel they are owed a huge favour, especially female bosses with multitude of hormonal inbalance

Until Nigerians work in a country with working Labour Laws, or they school in countries that teachers dont beat you up and ridicule your, or lecturers intimidate you, they wouldnt know what it feels like to be liberal

Many would give reasons for the Bosses paranoid wicked behaviours as if the employee abused any of the company law/policies , Employement contracts /agreement and moral and in ethics or labour laws.. that is how we continue to support domestic abuse of children and abuse from teachers and lecturers because we where trained like that and dont know better

.
this is exactly what I was expecting people to think, but no, everyone is busy advising the guy to add ma, or beg for forgiveness. can u imagine? do people even know that they have rights? why are we so timid and meager? so afraid of consequences that doesn't exist. the Nigerian worker lacks knowledge of labour laws and workers rights, thats why we are so afraid of our bosses instead of it being the other way around where bosses are terrified of employees because they know those employees can easily sue them for little things as poor working conditions. it's a miserable situation here really
Politics / Re: TCN Confirms Collapse Of National Grid by cronsberg: 12:26am On Jan 17, 2020
I knew this country is rotten from the core. Thank God I didn't make the mistake of thinking that things are getting better Even when we were experiencing relatively stable light recently. I knew it was just a mirage, a false reality, that deep down, the reality of things is that everything is just rotten. Since buhari of all people can lie to us like this, I promise myself not to ever attend any political rally or even vote, it's just really a complete waste of one's time and energy if you really think about it. Never believe any politician, they are all the same. They will all come with sweet promises and fail woefully to deliver those promises. My message to all who care to listen is to get out of this mess good for nothing country while you still can. It will never really be better. Get out and enjoy the best of what life has to offer. Get out and experience what it feels like to live with true 24/7 light, true unlimited broadband internet, true constant running pipe borne public water supply, true quality education and healthcare. Damn we are really missing alot in this country, we really are been lied to alot. I wonder if am the only one seeing hopelessness all around this country. Youths without jobs, public infrastructure decay, extremely disorganized society, insecurity, etc
