Jonathan sponsored the independence day bombing carried out by henry Okah(Thus why he was quick to announce on national t.v that it was not MEND that carried out the attack, even though no investigations were even started). Henry Okah himself told court officials that the president told him to carry out the attack. It is also on record that when he was deputy governor of bayelsa under the thief alamey... he and his now pardoned boss sponsored militants to make life difficult for the then nigerian government. Jonathan is a gaddam sponsor of terrorism

coogar: political undertones have to be behind violence to make it terrorism. most times, white dudes just lose their senses and kill people with no attempt to achieve any political goal!
Anders Brevik is a white dude, and he bombed and killed hundreds for political reasons. Now tell me, is he a terrorist? Did the world media declare him a christian terrorist? or just an "unstable person who didn't know what he was doing". Hear-in lies the double standard my friend. What a world
Christianity EtcChristians, Muslims, Ignorance: Matters Arising by cronsberg(op): 12:25am On Apr 16, 2013
I want to write this topic based on general observations i've made over time. I am saddened to observe the unruly, unreligious character of most nairaland "christians" who seem to exibit their true colors on the internet/nairaland in particular. These internet "christians" seem to relish the idea of attacking islam and muslims every chance they get, as if to fulfill the ayah

Never will the Jews be pleased with you, neither the Christians, not till you follow their religion. Say: "Surely God's guidance is the [only] true guidance." And if you follow their caprices after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have against God neither protector nor helper. (2:120)

Insults such as: Iran is establishing a terrorist base in north korea(just cuz they build a mosque there), Islam is an evil religion e.t.c to my christian brothers, what has islam done to you like that? Is it because some lunatics bomb and kill christians in the name of islam that you now condemn the whole religion? In the same vein, what then do we say of people like david koresh, What do we say of the IRA of northern ireland, the rape scandals involving pastors, e.t.c do we then condemn christianity because of some lunatic christians? You will never hear a muslim condemning christianity or christians though, but SOME of my christian brothers seem to show there true color of intolerance and ignorance as soon as they get the freedom(the internet). It almost scares me to think that i have always had majority christian friends, whom i always had a clear heart and took as brothers, but on the other hand they abuse and insult my religion, redicule and mock it as if its a joke to them, but by god i will never blame christianity for your actions, i know its simple ignorance thats bothering you.

The biggest mistake a guy will make with a girl he wants to lay is to be her friend . It will never lead you anywhere but to the friendzone, and the moment she sees you as a friend, all atractions she might have for you will be gone. TRUST ME ON THAT.

And all the ladies here telling you to first be a friend. Let me ask the Op, will you ask a deer how to hunt? That deer will give you the exact instructions to failure. Same thing with women, They all want there lives to be like the romantic chick flicks they watch, but in reality it never works. That's why women will tell you to be a gentleman, start with friendship first(cuz they watched it on the movie when Harry met Sally, and actually think that it will work in real life grin). Funny thing is though, you might follow all the advice women will give you, but will be shocked to find yourself in her friendzone, but yet the guy that doesn't follow the rules, the guy that doesn't care about her feelings will be the guy getting all the good stuff tongue . To the Op, if your intention is innocent grin and marriage is what you're looking for, then by all means start with friendship, Other than that any woman that tells you to start with friendship first tell her you have enough friends and ........ is exactly what you want cool

Who are we? women
what do we want? we don't know
When do we want it? NOW

Thats women for ya grin grin grin

Please submit this documentary to Aljazeera(the only global news station that ain't afraid of showcasing thought provocking documentaries). Infact there is this really interesting four part documentary they're showing now called the '7 sisters' . its about how the 7 major oil conglamorates (shell, bp, Elf, total, chevron e.t.c) sponsored dictatoships for decades and in the mean time stealing oil from those countries. From iran to venezuela, sudan to libya, Nigeria to congo, the 7 sisters in collusion with CIA toppled leaders and installed dictators, they killed millions and stole billions, really thought provocking and interesting documentary.
So please submit this one to Aljazeera, upload it to youtube, burn it on millions of cd's and distribute it quitely. THE TRUTH MUST PREVAIL

Orikinla: I love your patriotism.

I have visited many as a field worker and a UNICEF Consultant and working for NGOs on health and population.
Even the best scientists here will tell you that we were better in the 1970s and early 1980s before the brain drain.

Only the private hospitals ad labs are considerable.

Even the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria agreed with my report.
You see what am saying? This guy is a gaddam NGO. Am certainly starting to mistrust and view NGOs as foriegn agents of destruction
Have you ever seen a report from an NGO that was positive? Every single one of there "reports" is negative, e.g 'every second a person dies in africa of malaria/hiv, Every minute an unborn baby dies cuz of maternal mortality, Nigerians live on less than 2 dollars a day. Common mehn, those certainly cannot be true, it defies logic even. Russia had enough of there negative/fake reports and kicked them out for good. If we don't do the same, we will never have peace of mind i tell you.

donroxy: CHRISTIAN YOUTHS REJECT AMNESTY FOR BOKO HARAM, THREATENS VIOLENCE

Written by Paschal Okeke -Abuja Thursday, 11 April 2013 02:48

AS the Federal Government buckles under the pressure to consider granting amnesty to the Boko Haram sect, the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) has threatened violence if the plan is carried out.

YOWICAN, whose membership cut across the six geopolitical zones in the country, said thatrather than considering amnesty to the group, the Federal Government should immediately arrest Senators Ahmed Zanna and Buka Ibrahim for their alleged involvement in the activities of the violent sect.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Wedenesday, the president of the religious group, Dr Simon Dolly, warned that the “planned amnesty for murderers is potentially dangerous to Nigeria and Nigerians because it is a clarion call to more terrorism in Nigeria.”

Dolly said President Jonathan must be reminded that the fact that the Boko Haram sect insurgency had come to send jitters into the spine of the people would not confirm absolute power to unleash violence, stressingthat “nobody has the monopoly of violence.”

He said: “In case the Federal Government is contemplating granting amnesty to willful murderers masquerading as political and religious insurgents who do not respect the basic tenets of humanity and the Constitutionof the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the FederalGovernment should be prepared to face perhaps more deadly and sophisticated response.

“We ask Mr President to go all out for these Boko Haram members by consolidating on the gains made by the various security agencies and to arrest those whose utterances and actions have implicated them.”

Dolly admonished President Goodluck Jonathan to be wary of some politicians in the North who felt they could use the issue ofthe Boko Haram insurgency to correct the anomalies they created while in power.

“We appeal to the president not to be cowed by politicians and few misfits and naturally rebellious persons in the North who are attempting to use the Boko Haram insurgency as a bait to correct what they have failed to do while they were in power,” he stated.

Rather than engaging in a wide goose chase, the group insisted that what could bring lasting peace to the restive Northern region, the Federal Government should immediately return all missionary schools to their rightful owners, build “Christian Vocational Centres” in the 36 states of the Federation, including Abuja

The group further demanded the employment of Christian Religious Knowledgeteachers in the North.
.

On the Federal Government SURE-P, YOWICAN, noted that having used the Nigerian youths to endorse the programme, it had turned outto be a sham and a deceit.

The group said,”On the current SURE-P programme, we observed with dismay that having used the Nigerian youths to endorse the subsidy re-investment with good promises, the programme has turned out to be a sham and complete deceit.”

Science/TechnologyRe: Nigeria Is Among Science-Lagging Developing Countries by cronsberg: 12:37pm On Apr 11, 2013
It seems some people are hell bent on bringing down nigeria/demoralizing its citizens. Its quite clear these people are sponsort foreign agents, the kind that russia kicked out for doing exactly what they're doing here now that is spreading fake reports, articles findings that are carefully packed to make certain nations look inferior.
If not, are these people with there "report" telling us that tunisia, cuba, libya shocked e.t.c are more scientifically developed than Nigeria? What is wrong with you people. Did the report consider our functioning nuclear research centers in Zaria, with majority nigerian nuclear scientists working there? What about our cell research labs in vom and jos whose findings May & Baker drug company in ogun is using to manufacture drugs. many examples that i don't have time to list. Now tell me, how many countries can boast of those? certainly some countries that are considered "Scientifically inclined" don't have the scientific/facilities we poses. Yet some ignorant half baked diaspora Nigeiran who doesn't even know whats REALLY happening in his country will be taken for a ride by these foriegn organizations. What a shame. I for one will NEVER believe such crap.
Science/TechnologyRe: Nigeria Is Among Science-Lagging Developing Countries by cronsberg: 1:50am On Apr 11, 2013
For the fact that this "report" didn't include countries like tunisia, libya, morroco and many south american countries, i will consider the report as a goddam LIE. What the h,ell does a country like morroco or tunisia manufacture in terms of science that we don't have in nija? I've never been to either countries, but CERTAINLY we in nigeria are far ahead of them in terms of scientific development, i can bet my left nut on that.
BTW,the italy that the so called report originated from, what f.ucking scientific base do they have? Italy that imports everything from industrial machinery, to high tech products from germany, japan and taiwan. Infact the scientific development they are talking about is things like stem cell research, semi conductors, high tech precision systems, micro processors e.t.c those are the base of any new invention, Italy itself manufacture ZERO of them so they should also be on the list goddam hypocrites angry .

with that said, i know FOR SURE nigeria is not behind in scientific development, what about the nuclear reaserch centers in kaduna, the stem cell research labs in Vom and Jos, the open heart surgery hospital in enugu and many more examples.
I am sick and tired of those people sitting in there offices in italy, gathering outdated data from the 1980s via internet to finally come out and make Hypocritical studies/articles/findings nothing but crap
no wonder vladamir putin kicked them(NGOs) out of russia. they do nothing but mischief.

RomanceRe: Why Women Dislike Nice Guys by cronsberg: 6:45pm On Apr 08, 2013
listen guys, this is my field since am a perfect leykis 101 student cheesy here it goes...
"nice guys get women only in movies. reality is the exact opposite"
No woman likes a nice guy. If she tells you she wants a nice guy, ask her how old is she? grin she will definitely be above 30yrs of age.
Every woman will tell you nice guys will win at the end since women only marry nice guys,(as if marriage is some kind of winning). infact is that really winning? think about it ! when she was in her prime 18-25 years she will never give a second look to the nice guy, all the while ba.nging her youth away with a "bad boy", in other words the bad boy was the b.ars.tard that enjoyed her fresh young body (oh those supple b.reasts like fresh bread out of the oven grin grin) .

but when she's getting towards 30yrs and wrinkles/sagging start to appear in places that matter cheesy she then decides to give the nice guy a chance, but unbeknown to the nice guy, he's been cheated by accepting leftovers to tie him down for the rest of his life. Note that the only reason the woman will give him the chance is that no bad boy wants her anymore, cuz she's considered old, and the bad boys proceed to hotter younger chicks, so either way the nice guy always loose.

the only true way is to be a typical jerk/badboy

anyway, reasons why i love the U.S
1. The energy and soul of the big apple. no other city has the 'feel' of new york.
2. The diversity, tolerance, coolness, charm of Los Angeles. together with the live and let live attitude
3. The giantness of everything(cars,buildings,roads e.t.c)
4. Am a guy who loves road trips/adventures(americans popularised and made road trips awesome grin) and the perfect road trip is from new york to L.A, from the giant cities, to the perfect roads, to the breath taking scenery, America is the perfect country for road trips.
5. freedom, freedom, freedom nough said. which other country do you have the freedom to be a hippie,or a wandering traveller, a po.rnsta.r/prostitute, or a gigolo grin , a mmountain man, or a homeless man, a gay or a straight, a guitar wilding half naked chick in the middle of time square kiss grin . So i guess i just have to love the U.S, Cuz its just that awesome
Foreign AffairsRe: China Mobilizes Military, On 'high Alert' Over N. Korea Threats by cronsberg: 10:42pm On Apr 03, 2013
Come to think of it, i see the reason why some countries will do anything to keep the koreas divided. Can you imaging if north and south korea united? The industrial and technological power of the south, and the military power of the north(two million strong army, nuclear capable, manufactures tanks, long range missiles e.t.c ) The united country will easily become a major world power, certainly overshadowing japan and the rest of asia(except china)and am sure with the will, both south and north korea can compromise a little and find common ground to unite, but its clear some external powers don't want that to happen.

OAM4J: Am sure the airlines know about the insecurity in Kano, but they are not complaining. If they consider Kano airport more viable than Enugu airport, then let them be. It's their planes, their crews, their investments and their risks.
my point exactly, enugu airport doesn't even come close to kano airport in terms of traffic and passenger numbers. and if they say kano isn't secure and therefore unsafe for planes, then its the choice of the airline companies to take decisions on whether to risk it or not. They obviously aren't stupid and ain't buying into the over exageration of the media about insecurity, thats why they requested for slots by themselves plus they go where passengers (money) is. thats why egypt air and KLM still run daily flights from kano.

To further buttress my point, i am in no way against enugu airport, but why divert them from kano airport, how about she divert some slots from abuja or lagos to enugu if she's not actually following a tribalistic plan to short change the north.

On a lighter note, kudos to the madam for a wonderful renovation/reconstruction of most airports in the country(give credit to whom it is due grin)
PoliticsFG Keeps Emirates, Turkish Out Of Kano - ...despite Minister’s Pledge by cronsberg(op): 4:36pm On Apr 03, 2013
The Ministry of Aviation has continued stalling over the request by some foreign airlines to expand their operations to Kano, in spite of assurances given by the minister two weeks ago that this would be achieved by the end of March.
Emirates and Turkish airlines were among those that applied for approval to fly the Kano and Abuja routes a year ago, but the ministry initially blocked them and asked them to go to Enugu instead.
Under pressure from the National Assembly after a report by Daily Trust in August last year, the ministry agreed to approve the airlines’ requests.
On March 15, Aviation Minister Stella Oduah said in Kano that the two airlines would begin their Kano operations by the end of last month.
But investigations by Daily Trust show that despite those assurances, the ministry is still stalling over approving additional landing slots which the airlines would use to expand their operations.
When she appeared before a House of Representatives committee in November last year, the minister told lawmakers the necessary agreements would be signed on December 3 to give the airlines additional slots.
“The minister has continued to foot-drag on signing the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) on increasing the number of landing slots for the airlines,” a source who is privy to the matter told Daily Trust.
Our correspondent’s checks in Kano revealed that none of the airlines have established offices at the Kano airport as yesterday. read more on the link

Why does it seem like people (the F.G) is he.ll bend on destroying the northern economy? The same thing with OBJ who killed the northern textile mills and ginneries that employed hundreds of thousands, and many more northern industries. I am not a tribalist, but this is surely assuming a tribal dimension, cuz its getting clear that the F.G since obj's time uptill now all had a plan of destroying the northern economy . and the north's governors aren't helping by not taking initiatives on their own. CrimeRe: Two Nigerians And A Filipino Kidnap A Japanese Engineer In Malaysia by cronsberg: 4:03pm On Apr 03, 2013
coninse: KUALA LUMPUR: Two Nigerians and a Filipina were charged at the magistrate's court here yesterday with the kidnapping of a Japanese engineer three weeks ago.
Okwara Victor Emeka, 40, Kalu Okoro Okeke, 31, and Divina Gu-tierrez Matias, 34, from the Philippines allegedly abduct-ed Shunsuke Kobayakawa, 50, in Jalan Lebuh Pudu, and confined him in a condominium unit at Venice Hill, Cheras, at 11.30pm on March 13.

No plea was recorded from the three accused, who were charged under Section 3 of the Kidnapping Act, which carries the death penalty, or life imprisonment, if found guilty.
The two Nigerian men are said to be studying in Malaysia, while Divina worked as a maid.

Deputy public prosecutor S. Malini Anne prosecuted while the three accused were represented by counsel L.A. Gomes. Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin presided.
It was earlier reported that the victim had come to Malaysia on March 12 to meet a woman, whom he had communicated through "Skype" about marriage.
After kidnapping the victim, the trio had allegedly demanded a ransom of US$50,000 (RM155,000) from his family in Japan, which was to be credited into a bank account in the Philippines.

Akshow: MAIDUGURI,

The attack Sunday, coupled with the recent kidnappings of foreigners claimed by Boko Haram and its affiliates, offered fresh doubts about the ability of Nigeria’s weak central government to stop the bloodshed, despite its deployment of more security forces in the region.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/africa/in-video-boko-haram-leader-denies-peace-talks-with-nigeria-promises-violence-will-continue/2013/03/03/acb0edb2-83ea-11e2-a80b-3edc779b676f_story.html
I observed that almost every article from foreign media has the "Nigeria's weak central government" line. It pains me to see the double standard angry . What tha H.ell constitutes a "strong" central government? is it when the government becomes dictatorial and starts massecaring people then it is now a "strong" central government? In the same vein, when alkeda got to attack the u.s on 9/11, then america had a weak central government at the time right? WTH

On the other hand, the foreign media does have a point grin . A few months ago, i travelled to cameroon republic, can you believe at the nigerian border there was literarilly only one immigration guy shocked . who doesn't even have even a catapult for defence. My two korokoro eyes saw how lorries with empty drums/barrels come from cameroon and wait for a tanker from nigeria loaded with fuel in the bush right inside nigerian territory. With the porous border i saw, i can say even a whole foreign army can enter and invade border towns in nigeria without the "central government" knowing about it for weeks. In addition, the lack of an effective central databse means that today, in my home town(being a border state) thousands of cameroonians live, work, import/export goods illegally, without paying taxes, without the knowledge of even the state gov. talkless of the central/fedral government.some even marry/settle/work/build houses WITHOUT PAPERS. You woud be right to think what the he.ll is the job of the immigration aferall?
So in this situation, i woud understand why some media woud keep saying "Nigeria's weak central government" grin grin

With constant rants about how nigeria is failing, how we rely too much on oil, without oil we will collapse, how industries are failing, how we need to diversify bla bla bla. one would think nigeria is a dismal backward failure. However, nigeria isn't all doom and gloom, we are actually far better than what people think. Believe it or not, besides south africa, no other african country has the industrial might/capacity of nigeria.

So, list the large scale/or small scale industrial outfits/factories you know of in nigeria/ in your state, what do they manufacture? lets show the world that we can actually survive and even prosper without oil, besides everyday i hear of new large scale industries setting up shop in nigeria. So the alarmists who predict doom should relax, Nigeria is doing fine.
