chucsmoore: I set aside 10% of my profits for repairs maintenance and emergency. I drive Toyota Camry Muscle 2011 LE 4plugs. I replaced some of the parts 2 years ago. What's the size of your engine and how much fuel do you consume on a daily? My crv is also 4plug, 2.4ltr engine and this was what I made yesterday minus 5k offline. 6.5k was spent on fuel. Do you think it is outrageous and how can I correct the fuel consumption?

Felicity0001: Are you sure about this? Remember Indriver request is time factored...
chucsmoor don't want to share his secret with us abi he no want make we too buy car like am? Indriver is pretty straight forward, I really don't understand why its giving some of you a hard time. |

eyinola: they really need to improve on that , most times i don't accept their trip because e.g Olatunji street will just show up and funny thing is the street might be in a local govt i love to go but fear of if this address is in ikorodu or sango nko . Bolt is still the baba for now, Bolt will show Ogudu kosofe only disadvantage is that they can hammer u for declining so in most cases once i see it's an area i don't want to go i will just jejely accept then tell the rider i will like to cancel , i arrive then cancel But there's a way to go around that. Click on the trip request, look at A and B. B should be able to tell you where the destination is located on the map. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Crvrider: 7:38am On Jan 02, 2021 |
Felicity0001: I think Indriver needs to improve more with their destination address by at least including the LG area the street address is located. Bolt will include the LGA and I think that's what drivers really wants.
E.g. Indriver request. (A) Olajide Street. 200m to PU (B) Oluwale Street GMAP: 1km to PU (I'd notice Indriver uses space distance a d not land distance, this is why their base fare are always ridiculously cheap, very annoying most times, Uber can also be found wanting to this space distance to PU at times)
Bolt Request. (A) Olajide Street 200m to PU (B) Oluwale Street, Imota,Ikorodu GMAP: 200M to PU (always accurate as with the request)
@ chucsmoor (I hope I didnt murder the moniker) pls kindly share more light on your modus operandi in Indriver.
My biggest challenge is, take for instance a request comes in Sango Ota under bridge, ard 7am, rider is going to VI and offers 2k. B4 u say jack somebody else has taken it. Like i don't get it! Is it that some drivers go back to negotiate further after accepting the low fare? I tried it one time and the man dropped a bad review on my dashboard, though I've been lucky some other times. Share with us some of the tricks you use pls. You could send them a mail concerning this observation. However, I think indriver is reluctant to make any change on their app because they don't yet charge commission. As per the fair, like they will say: "every aboki with him kettle". I filter trips a lot, if the price ain't right for me, I decline. In most cases I pick a higher fair from what was offered by the rider and they still accept. You just have to learn the art of subtle (re)negotiation because its a vital skill if you're to drive successfully on indriver. On boxing day I did a delivery from onipanu to jakande bustop. Price was 2.5k. Rider paid 4k because I made her understand I drove further than what she put on the map as drop off address. Two days after, I picked a young lady from iyana ipaja(old ipaja road) and she was heading to ayobo area which I misinterpreted as egbeda area. When we got to abesan estate I pleaded with her that I couldn't go any further because of traffic coming back. I asked her to give me 500naira and apologised to her, at some point I then asked her to go without paying. She asked for my acct details. Few min later I saw an alert of 1k and 5star. For this last rider I think my manner of approach did the trick because i remember calling her to find out if she was able to find another ride home. |

If person try this 800k challenge na hospitalising things o.Only 11hrs of driving e go be like say them beat me better beating and that's because I drive only weekends mostly Sundays. If I come drive the whole week, how I go do.or is it because I'm less than a year in ehailing? I guess that's because you have an alternative source of income, so no motivation. Likewise I work on Sundays and strictly indriver. However, today I net 20k on in driver alone. That app make brain. |

Chuwaa2: But seriously she too does not have authority to tell people how to balance their sheet. Even when the guy that was driving to save his salary for a project stated his reasons, he was schooled in a tad condescending manner. Many people do uber for several reasons and many do not do it as a business required to keep books.
Let everyman be. Personally I think she should have stayed out of it. JPworld with his rascally behaviour seemed to have built a house in her head without her realising it. I wonder how he managed to do that. Makes her reaction easily predictable which is a terrible sign of weakness or insecurity. He challenged her to show her bank statement on how she runs her business, am suspecting she won't disappoint but am seriously hoping I am wrong. |

eyinola: I can't, I am too soft to net such amount ..this small one I dey do sef my body they tell me ;Di use more fuel than the corolla boys i think and i filter trips a lot so my brother tell me how i wan make 800k na In terms of filtering I filter trips like crazy. If there was a challenge about filtering I will probably win that and it is for this reason I don't do uber. I don't have their power. Imagine coming from skymall late at night and uber was still giving me trips to take me back further in that direction. For those who do uber strictly, I give you guys hand. Driving uber is like putting a blind fold over my eyes and that s-h-i-t scares me silly. The max I do on uber is 2trips. Imagine taking a trip request on uber, only for the trip to end at 375naira. In fact the app complained initially that the trip was too short to be billed[my jaw dropped]...had to idle for another 3-5min before the said amount came up. So for those putting up all this pretty dash board earnings, I wonder how you guys do it? I hope I am not a lazy youth because I can't understand. Anyways, for now indriver works well for me. |

Gentlelife50: Yes, just add your card details. They will deduct it from your account, their own is better than bolt because they won't block you or place you on card trips because of negative balance in the middle of the week like bolt usually do. At the end of the week it's either they (Uber) pay you or they deduct from your card if you have the card details on your account, that's for Uber. Thanks. This is vital info. |

Is there any citibank branch on the mainland? I was at Allen Avenue yesterday as indicated by Google only to found out citibank does not exist there. Luxurydriverng: YouTube cant delete such video, I set it to 18+ because of the swearing and the shot gun part is normal no big deal. Ppl display firearm on YouTube every now and then. Drivers just need to wise up and weapon up to protect themselves. A friend of mine carried a young guy from egbeda towards redeem camp. At some point in an isolated area the guy brought out a gun and held it close to his face asking my friend to park. My friend remained calm, slowed down and cleared to the roads edge. As he held the brakes bringing the car to a complete stop, he switched gears to park then in one movement, more or less like a reflex move; he went straight for the gun and yanked it off the guys hand catching him unaware. Now the hunter has become the hunted. The dude didn't even think twice, he opened the door and took off. Please don't ask me what he did with the gun because I didn't ask. True story. Guys just be careful. |

radautoworks: I think we are done here. Anyone who still thinks jpworld is am "Uber connoisseur" or has accomplished anything he claims OYO be your case. Dru23 despite his disputes has repeatedly backed up everything he has ever said on this thread. Na only this pus dey open mouth anyhow and has NEVER once backed up a single thing he said with tangible proof but knows how to accuse/abuse everyone else.
I propose everyone ignores him from this day forward. First one to acknowledge jpworld's existence after this owes everyone a round of drinks at your next get together.
EDIT- below are the scanners we usually sell. They are out of reach for a lot of people which is why when I saw a need I found cheaper ones to give away. the fact this pus decided to get in my business is why I carry his matter for head. Apologies to the thread for derailing though it is technically a public service With all due respect ma'am, you're just the female version of felicity and please I haven't said this to spite you. But what I don't understand is this back and forth of trying so hard, and i mean so hard, to make someone who cares less about you or what you represent to understand your stand point. The way I see it? The harder you try the more easily you compromise whatever integrity you still have left. I can't seem to understand why you will have to dig out personal WhatsApp records just to prove your point. What if jpworld comes out tomorrow to say glen is a 2min man, does that mean to prove otherwise you'll have to do a 45min video of him hitting you hard from behind, or from whatever your preferred position is? Geez, I think its time for everyone to grow up and trash their ego. |
