Of course any Christian will claim bible is the word of God. Muslim will claim quran is the world of God. All of them will give us reason why their book is the word of God ranging from scientific evidence, mathematical, historical, prophesies etc.

How much more when viewed from a higher dimension?. Well, at some point science will have to drop their existing theories(the very ones you so much trust in) as they have done in the last few years; especially when they study higher dimensions.

Along the line of eternity you will get to know the truth: either now in the body or out of it.

Sometimes we pay less attention to things that are of great worth. we are too concerned about so many things that we tend to forget the very fundamental principles of our Faith.

Our Faith is commensurate to the level of spiritual "health" of our hearts.

There is human information and there is spiritual information which we call revelation. So it is information.


Like I mentioned to you earlier.

This is not a Bible exegesis issue, it is simple a misuse of grammatical word. We won't create a word meaning not natural to a word just to push a revelation or doctrine. Revelation can't exist outside you receiving something or something revealed and that which is revealed all comes to us inform of information from our spirit (seeing, knowing, hearing, perceiving).

Neither revelation or information is a spiritual word, they are English words used in bible translation and hence must carry the day to day meaning or grammatical explanation in application. In essence of using them to explaining spiritual things you can't afford to change the meaning of words to something alien to its true usage and people's application in the culture of its origin. That will be improper communication or perfect error.

If someone casually tell you, "that guys market presentation was a revelation to his business issues". He will be refering to information received from the presentation. Nothing outside it. Right usage of words are key less you err or confuse others.

Revelation in bible usage is to know via God's inspiration or better still spiritually. That knowing means you receive something in your spirit or mind and understanding it. That which you receive is information, hence called knowing. The difference in this from human information is that revelation is spiritual information, but it is Information.

Basically, we receive according to our Faith; what you believe is commensurate to what you receive. Even though it's expedient to teach/share deeper truths;if you won't believe it, hold fast to what you have.

So many people don't share the same 'true Christian faith' with you but are 100 percent convinced that their own version of Christianity or religion is the truth and others would suffer eternal condemnation. You mean they would all 'lose their souls'?

Mentally ill from birth- yes, there is a reason there has to be a day of judgement. They will be judged according to the spirit. Like the people during the time of Noah ie old testament whom Jesus had to teach personally. But the person has to make sure he is mentally ill for there is no lie on that day.

If you make the Lord Jesus your personal Lord and Savior, and walk according to His Word, you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit: who will teach you all things; I don't believe in a particular denomination's belief: let the Word be our basis for Truth.
The Body of Christ is in every "church" that walks according to His Word in all sincerity, in spirit and in truth. In every denomination that make mention of the name of the Lord He has people there:
for instance
Maybe out of 1000 souls, 150 in Roman Catholic, 250 in the Lord's Chosen, 300 in JW, 200 in faith terbanacle etc.
Making Jesus your Lord and Savior is the most important ;as a result you walk according to His Word.

Other conflicting doctrines as you may call it is just our incorrect understanding of the Word of God which if we seek diligently; The Lord, through the Holy Spirit will reveal to us. For He is the Author of the Scriptures.

There are things that when understood wrongly may not lead to loss of soul but to a people robbed of what should have been theirs; especially in the areas of health and manifestation of power.

Which of the word of God? Islamic or Christian or othes? All religions claim to have the word of God yet they all have different and conflicting teachings. How do you reconcile that? What would happen to the soul of someone who does not share the same faith with you?

For any true Christian, the answer to that is pretty simple;
The Bible is the written word of God.
It is the way of salvation,its doctrines are holy , its histories are true,its decisions are imutable; its prophesies true.
It's light to direct you and food to support you.

So long as a thing is real ; someone with ulterior motive will fake it.
There is no five thousand naira counterfeit anywhere in the world because the original
is-not-there ., once it exists, the counterfeit will appear. However, there are qualities you look out for to differentiate between the Original from the fake. Anyone who takes the fake over the original will encounter great loss; that might not give him the liberty to try again and in this, the loss of the soul.

As for the mentally unstable, i think their lives will be judged by their previous lives before the condition.

The truth remains that neither science nor religion can explain how life started.

There must be more than a trillion planets where human-like beings or life forms have once or are currently existing in our Universe and beyond our universe.

There are possibilities of billions of other universes beyond ours with different laws of physics, Biology and Chemistry.

Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (Mormon) believes that a portion of their bible insinuates that there are billions of planets that have people on them all over the universe. The ultimate prize is to become a son of God where you are given rule over an entire planet and you will rule all nations, just as Jesus rules our planet from within, you also go down to a planet and do just what Jesus did here.

If there is a Supernatural force behind our existence, then may be the above belief by Church of Jesus Christ Of Later Days Saints may as well be true.

The essence of creating this thread is to hear people's personal experiences that convinced them that the Supernatural exist whether good spirit or bad spirit. So tell me what made you believe in the Supernatural and convinced you that your present religion is the truth with your real life and personal experiences. Let's leave the Bible, religious writings and other people's stories and face our own realities.

I'm sorry to say that sharing my personal experiences with you will not change anything; your Faith should and must be based on the Word of God. The Bible is the greatest Testimony Book ever; yet you don't believe it, there are many anointed men and women who have touched the Spirit realm in a profound way through out history even today; you do not believe them: why should I expect you to believe me?

As for my own personal walk with God, I have confidence to say with all boldness:" I know Him". The more I know Him,the more I want to know Him. Experiences?: Uncountable.

Let me share this one here;
When we were little, (three of us at that time) we were so sick that my mom was sacked from her place of work on the account of her frequent permission to take us to the hospital..
Doctors did their best to no avail, people were consoling them(my parents) in addy for what they thought would happen...then we knew the Greatest Physician of all (we knew no one else could save us except God; it really drew us closer to God); and He made a Name for Himself.( The healing part is another wonderful experience)
Now, the focus of this write-up is this:
We became closer to God and would be what people would call"payer warriors".
[My mom got another job and] we moved into an apartment closer to my parents place of work; there was a woman living in a house in front of ours (for we were in between two buildings).(there is a name she is popularly known with coined from her tribe; but since it might lead to tribalism i wont write it)This woman all of a sudden developed profound hatred for our family for no just cause; calling all sorts of names. To cut the long story short this woman nearly strangled one of our neighbors- a school boy of our age range -to death. How disappointed she was to realize it wasn't my younger brother.. she really created a scene. when interrogated she 'confessed' that her reason for that was because when she wants to "go out" at night that me and my younger brother will wear white (robes or something) and be blocking her way.

TAKE THE WORD OF GOD SERIOUSLY , FOR IN IT YOU WILL FIND LIFE.
my experiences should not be the basis for my faith(if Thomas Edison failed two more times, will it make any difference?); Real experiences strengthen your faith.
However, Faith should be based on the word of God.
It's when you believe that you will now have the multitude of wonderful experiences you are talking about.
You don't drive a car without petrol to the gas station; you get the Petrol first then to set the car in motion isn't going to be a problem.

Why were they created in the first place since you based your point on the fact that there must be a creator for everything. And why is it that no religious book has any information about existence of trillions of planets. Could it mean that 'God' doesn't want us to know anything beyond this earth apart from heaven and hell?

On how life started on earth, it is still a problem which is not yet solved. No need delving into that. There are a lot of conflicting scientific theories The truth is that no one knows exactly how life started.

Since you have failed to explain what you mean mean by LIFE; and has also made it obvious that you have no idea HOW LIFE STARED; I will explain them to you later on. sir, I have reasons to believe you don't know why there are no remains of life-forms on Mars.

On Earth, despite the variations and diversity in environmental and climatic conditions, there are organisms surviving and thriving; Humans, (and) animals use oxygen, plants use CO² , In Sulphur cave near steamboat springs, Colorado, the specie known as limnodrilus sulphurenesis thrive in an atmosphere of toxic hydrogen sulphide gas. we even have acidophiles living at highly acidic environments and radiation-resistant bacteria amongst others.
also their modes of feeding and nutritional requirements differ.

There is no need for life support
If there is need for "favourable conditions" all the time at all places for life to exist, then what is evolution? and what's it's importance? at what point in time was it last observed?



THE USE OF A "BILLION GALAXIES"
From the standpoint of common Sense the Earth is blessed with so many features, precious elements, compounds, plants and animals all of which are for the use of man for one purpose or the other.
we all know what we might term :
the benefits of the sun, the moon, the ozone layer ,the magnetic sheild, the benefits of the nutrient cycles, the benefits of bodies indicating times and seasons ( not astrology anyway); all of these things working directly or indirectly for our own benefits.

If the only thing that God wants me to know is His word, I will gladly stick to it; for it would be of no benefit for me and you to pry further. ( like it would be for a toddler to handle a loaded rifle)
What might be the greatest undoing of a man is to be ignorant of what he should know / knowing what he shouldn't know.

There is no life in mercury, venus, Mars, jupiter, saturn and other planets that revolve round their star which is the sun. This is because they are either too hot or too cold to support life. Mercury and venus are very hot because they are closer to the sun while Mars and others are too cold because they are farther away from the sun.

Other stars which are over trillions of stars out there in our universe have their own planets revolving round each of them. Billions of planets found themselves in the ecosystems of their respective stars. The probability of having human like beings in such earth like planets is very high. The earth like planets are not just one, two or three but billions of them in the Universe.

If I asked you to explain what life is: I know you won't be able to give a clear definition of it. Sir, If you can do so let me know what you mean by the word "life".

TOO COLD?
On Earth there are life-forms in the coldest or even frozen places on Earth.
TOO HOT?
Even in the hottest volcanic vents, there are proven life-forms.

we have plants and animals economising the little water they can find; they are in the deserts. There are seeds of certain trees that usually grow in places with inadequate water, in it's absence they can wait hunderds of years for moisture; now, what really happened to Mars? No trace of even the remains of life-forms.

Sun which is our own star has about 10 planets with earth in the sun's ecosystem. All other billions of stars have their ecosystems too. If' God' actually care about how we live our lives don't you think he would at least visited everyone in his/her dream and tell us the only true religion and the real essence of our existence. This would have enabled us all to have only one believe instead of all the religious confusions in the world.

Why did many generations (millions of years of life on earth according to confirmed scientific data) pass before all the religions we have today emerged to the world.

Since you based your proof on the fact that nothing comes out of nothing. Man made computers, wrist watches, houses, cars etc. Now how did our Creator come out? Who made him?

The question is not whether God cares about us (He does). Concerning the issue you brought up about God manifesting to us in visions and dreams; while others are doubting many are walking in the reality of it.
Moreover, are you assuring me that when He does you won't try to have a scientific (medical) explanation for that?

Now: The question is do we care about God?. Do we even trust Him enough to take Him at His Word?
Do we obey Him and not grieve him as a "prodigal son" does?
Do we obey His Word even when things are perfect: people disobey Him every minute but point accusing fingers when they enter into problems..

1st truth agreed on: SOMEONE CREATED US.

He has never for a milisecond abandoned us :He loves us and wants us to seek Him. For when you truly believe that He is in existence and is a rewarder of those that seek Him diligently:you will find Him(He will manifest Himself to you)
He didn't create us as robots(without will)
He created us to make choices ( to know truly whether or not we love Him; like a man looking for a bride; A man looking for true love.)

A proof of His love for us:
We inhabit the best planet in the whole universe.

Now, Nothing valuable is seen just on the surface everywhere. You have to seek.
That the natural reality of a plane flying is manifesting now is because:
someone decided that despite what people think, whatever jokes they crack, whatever mockeries the make, that the reality that he knows, he(they: wright brothers) will seek it diligently to know the principles and then work it out.

The verses you quoted are all pointing to same facts that YOU WILL KNOW. How do you know things when nothing is passed across. Anytime you know something or come to knowledge of something, it simply means there is communication of information to you which can either be a revelation or usual knowledge but both are via information attributes. For example, all God's information and communication are revelation to man. The bible is God's revelation to us, why they communicate/reveal spiritual things. The revelation is in that information you receive.

Please kindly share here one specific time you or anyone receive the type of revelation you are speaking of. I mean share exactly WHAT was received/revealed and HOW.

Then let's see if such experience can be independent of information being communicated.

Every Word of God has a spirit component of which information is just a description(one of the channels through which it is conveyed). The spirit and life component is real and tangible.
Even wisdom is a person: a spirit : the Bible personifies her (Proverbs 7:4) observe also that same intimacy is seen here... I really take the Word of God seriously: for what God says it is , that's what it is.

We shouldnt be speaking about issue of arguments when scriptures is involved. Scriptural accuracy demands work and proper explanation hence can call for critical examination. I guess some parts of this world arent used to that as i have seen it happened over and over again. We should not have a bias that whenever someone question our submission then he just want to argue for argument sake. You must always be ready to provide answers to what you hold dear.

In the Scriptures, we were told to investigate things (John 5:39, Acts 17:10-11, Acts 23:20), to prove all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21), to examine. John said we should Test all spirit (1 John 4:1), Paul mentioned [b]to show approval (2 Tim 2:15). Statements as such will be determined on you being able to convince your listener or reader on your doctrine and scriptural interpretation.

I have seen many used this line of "i want to avoid argument" even when they put up false teaching. We should know that the moment you put out scriptural interpretation in automatically called for scrutiny and examination before its been received as inspired.

Even Jesus' teaching was scrutinized, he asked them to SEARCH, INVESTIGATE what he taught. Same as Peter, Paul and the early church. We are also asked to defend the faith delivered unto us, to prevent and withstand wrong doctrines and prove things right. Paul had a strong stand concerning SOUND DOCTRINE (Titus 1:9, Titus 2:1, 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 2 Timothy 4:3, 1 Timothy 6:3, 2 Timothy 1:13)

Firstly it points to scriptures hence, it must be must examine.
Secondly, it makes some latent contradictions, based on meaning of words and if that is carried into the scriptures it may defeat the benefit of it. So, i have no personal issues or gain but obeying the scriptures.

The first issue here is the fact that based on meaning of words, you cant separate information from revelation. The reason i asked you how does revelation comes. Does it comes to us as information or any other thing. If the later, What i asked is to let me know how revelation comes without it being a piece of information..

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The scripture above speaks about comprehension (to comprehend), speaks about "to know", to receive "knowledge". These comprehension, knowing and knowledge are in form of what? Piece of information to our spirit, our mind and understanding, or is there any other means aside piece of information to receive this?

If you read the bible and clarity comes, how does it comes? is it not an unveiling of piece of information you were never aware of before? Is that not revelation? When you pray, and you receive an insight concerning a situation, how does it comes to you? to mind?, spirit,? your understanding opened? Enlightenment? All these are elements by which information is passed.

When your spirit know "something", that "something" known comes in what form? The knowing in itself is information being presented to you as revelation.

In Matthew 16:13-17, Peter received a revelation of God concerning Christ, Jesus called it revelation. What did Peter receive? He said "THOU HATH THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD". That is what was revealed. And that is an information concerning who Christ is.

What defines revelation is where that information comes from and what information is revealed or given. A fact, fragment, piece of information received as inspired of God is revelation to you. When God speaks, it is revelation but that medium will be an information coming to you.

Speaking, Knowing, Seeing, Perceiving are all forms of way we received information from our spirit and when that piece of information is inspired we usually refer to it as revelation.

Hence, We should avoid pitfalls of trying to create meanings for words that will not hold in proper and critical explanation or context.

Jesus told us that we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free; the word "know" here is the same word expressed in Genesis "and Adam knew his wife..." it is intimacy .
it passes just head knowlege: don't intellectualize God's word: for would be leaning on the wisdom of men or even your own understanding; (that's how people coming up with human definitions like; heart only means the organ in a man pumping blood:yet In God's Word, we know that heart of a man means basically;the spirit of a man)

Something happened to Peter's inner man that you don't know about..

The Scribes, lawyers, Pharisees and Sadducees were angry with our Lord Jesus Christ..
They had the 'scriptures' they neither knew it nor did they know the power of God.
They had the information yet other people even Jesus's disciples lived it out experiencially through revelation before them. and Jesus glorified God The Lord of Heaven and Earth for that which He has revealed even to babes; people who were considered unlearned and all of that.
