I think what Joe Igbokwe is saying is that apart from the riverine areas, you can access the whole of Anambra in 3-4 hours basically because of the Land area especially in the Central and Southern Zones. Surprisingly, Idemili North that is less than 40mins from Awka if you take the old road did not get materials on time while Obiano's LGA which is farther north had everything smooth as regards logistics.

Most streets at Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi are untarred and dirty looking. Thief Peter could have done them if he had let go of his avarice. But no, he wants to make Forbes list at our collective expense.
OBJ warned us of the criminal Obi in 2005 but we didn't listen. In fact, he also told Mrs. Etiaba not to hand over power to Obi during her short rule that she will be protected to serve out that tenure.
Now I could see what the OBJ saw then. Although, then I disliked OBJ for his disregard for rules/laws.
Criminality is personified in Obi , he is a professor of money laundering and financial crimes

My Father told me while I was busy looking out for a credible poll as promised by INEC, that Mr GEJ will be the GREATEST FOOL to allow credible polls in this Anambra election because once he allowed that, the 2015 block vote from Anambra will be threatened. I doubted him seriously, we almost argued over it but experience counts

Reason being that a credible election will without doubt swing the way of the opposition especially when the incumbent Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, performed far below the expectations of Anambrarians viz the pace of development was "snail -ish" and the looting of the treasury a "never seen before ", the apathy towards Government increased to an all time high in the State. He is called all sorts of name to depict the hatred the people had for him. Madam Ada Obi, the Gay, Peter Ada, Onye-Oshi, Okwute, Ada 'Fidelity' in many quarters.
So even the Ogas at the top knew it is impossible for Mr. Obi to garner genuine votes and win from Anambra so resorting to this type of sham election should not be a surprise.
My advice to the oppositions is to reason with APGA and the Presidency, accept what they are putting forward which am sure will go a long way in offsetting the expences incurred by your campaigns. As at last count 16 other political parties had reached a compromise with Obi and have accepted the election as fair.
I advice Ngige, Ubah and Nwoye to do the same because the force they are up against is nearly insurmountable. We are talking about 2015 here and besides, the damage has already been done, Peter Obi is Evil, we all agree but we must put the State first in this circumstance.
They should not tempt or test the resolve of Mr Obi. even if this election is canceled and repeated 100x , it will still not be credible as long as the opposition candidates still enjoys some popularity. And in fact, if Mr. Obi spent N50 Billlion to sort out things on Saturday, the repeated election may force him to dip his hands further into the Government purse, this time he may pull out N100 billion .So whose interest is served that the money that could be used to develop the State is used to prosecute elections.
So comrades sheath your Swords.
Let's put pressure on Obiano to see he doesn't become an under achiever like Mr. Peter Obi.

Against the background of wide spread irregularities and backlashing of INEC for a shoddy job done in the Anambra Selections. It is very clear the Courts will have no choice than to annul the entire election if INEC fails to do so.
But if at all, Obiano scales through and is sworn-in March 17. He doesn't need somebody to advise him that he must work very hard, I repeat, very very hard, to earn the natural love of the people of Anambra home and abroad.
First, he must detach from the ways of Mr. Peter Obi, he must not allow greed, selfishness, poor quality jobs and deceit to be the watch word of his administration.
He must pay minimum wage, give bursary and post grad. scholarship, he must create jobs and wealth for the state, he must not stiffle the cashflow within the state. He must embark on Massive road construction and gully erosion control across the State, he must work on the State Capital because Awka is a mess. He must stem Kidnapping.
He can achieve these if they allow him some time before the election is CANCELLED. And that way he will stand a chance in any credible election.
I am aware APGA is trying to reach out to other parties to accept this selection. I don't think that will work because right now I can authoritatively say that the pressure on the side of the Cancellation is taking a different shape with the US Government(I understand that some Anambrarians work with them) expressing their fears on this election and Nigeria.

More Protests on the way
INEC /Police complicity must be properly investigated. Many of their officials will be smiling to the bank courtesy of Anambra State Government

There are indications that Youth groups are planning on a ONE MILLION MAN MARCH against what is described as plans to derial democracy and divide Nigeria. The details is sketchy but from all I gathered.
The arrangements are underway, it is expected to draw participants from the 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra. And they have vowed to resist any form of financial inducement from the Politicians.

However, there is no agreement on the timing of the March. Some of the organizers were said to be against protests at the moment because of fears it could lead to serious confrontations with the security agents .It is planned to be a series of Protest scheduled to begin at the first sitting of the Tribunal or a bit earlier.
It would be recalled that the Youth/student groups in the State had reached a near concensus to vote -in a youthful leader in a credible election. Just as it was alleged that Governor Obi failed the youths in his almost 8 years in office. Most of the issues that were raised during the campaigns concerning the challenges of the youths in Anambra State were the least addressed by the APGA team.
It is, therefore, most surprising how INEC manufactured the result that gave victory to APGA in 16 LGAs when it was obvious there were no proper electoral process in most parts of the State.

@ Agbala-job. I am different from freeglobe. Can't you see my writing style and flow is different from hers. My info hunting skills/sentiments may also be different.
We may share some sentiments especially that Anambra State has suffered a lot and desired a change from the Status quo.
I was actually rooting for Nwoye to be a surpise winner based on his grassroot ability. But I am Ngige supporter based on his ability to steer development in the State.

This is the beginning

It all started with the issue of a candidate with the overwhelming attempt to cover up an issue of double registration. It is worthy of note that this candidate only registered this year. In communities where this candidate had serious interest, voting was smooth, no complaints from people who registered this year like this Candidate. Their names were in the Register and they voted
But it is different in other places. People who have been registered years ago and have been voting previously have their names missing in the register.
Who tampered with the Register at the pooling boots of the strongholds of other Candidates?
While the challenges INEC had in this election seems to have occurred in carefully selected areas, giving an encompassing advantage to a particular candidate and his followers who had it so smooth with their voting
Other areas were visited with Confusion. This is not a coincidence.
Why was the "coincidence" highly selective and targeted at some people.
Like my Father told me when I was hoping a credible election will be allowed that GEJ will be the greatest Fool to permit that, it is very clear that the rumours of huge settlements with withdrawals from Anambra made to certain persons could be true.
How much was Anambra Sold and to who?
INEC cannot play PILATE'S Hand-washing in this matter. This is highly IMMORAL. It is a daytime Robbery.
The only opportunity we had to vote out incompetent group of people was sold out by a few persons with only one INEC Sacrificial Official indicted.

Are they sending invitations to the Military? I am sure nobody wants a military take over. Why can't we do things right.

Let me sound like a Prophet. Obi your celebration will be short-lived, the last has not been heard of Anambra Election. Obiano can NEVER win a credible election in Anambra. He will not even come close to 3rd position.

I just heard that INEC boss has said the INEC officers involved had been arrested. SACRIFICIAL officers that will be adequately compensated with hundreds of millions if not billions and in turn their trials will be incomplete protected by the powers that be.Who is deceiving who

Against the electoral law party agents were campaigning and distributing money and the police said they were the untouchables. Areas that were easily accessible didn't have voting materials whereas difficult riverine areas had everything going well. calculated to disenfranchising some people.
