PDP is damn good in the rigging business. |
Thumb print, show us, get paid by our people, drop it in that box. That was the Language of APGA agents. Police/INEC appeared helpless as orders from above supersedes. I am sure APC, Labour Party and 19 other political parties were not prepared for what is happening today. It is called the Best Rigger Takes It All. PDP is damn good in this business and perhaps the promise by the presidency on conduct of free election is not to be taken serious. I am surprised. For their personal safety, the INEC officials must cooperate fully. Police are made to stay till tuesday, at Strategic positions to suppress any protest. This is certainly an election like others. Can't we conduct a credible election in a democratic setting, must the Military conducted election be adjudged the best? |
Onwa etibego! Peeps add your suggestions on challenges in your area that required immediate attention that Onwa will tackle as soon as he is sworn-in. e.g. My community is ravaged by Gully Erosion and Kidnapping has pursued us from our village homes. |
PROVIDED THE ELECTION IS CREDIBLE How it reads Anambra has once again shown the determination its people are known for in coming out en masse to stamp out Mediocrity and dishonest leadership. We spoke with one voice through our votes that Peter Obi must go and that the State must be free again from Professional Criminals who stole with Pen and from Kidnappers who robbed with Ak-47 that had besieged our dear State for the past 8 years. Let me also thank Mr President(Dr Goodluck Jonathan) for insisting that Anambra State people should vote for the candidate of their choice. This is the beauty of Democracy. Dr. Chris Ngige, we have shown how much we appreciated your sacrifice for the state between 2003 and 2005 through our votes for you. I believe that as soon as you are sworn-in in March, that Anambra, the whole Anambra will once again become a construction site. And that apart from your 12 points agenda, other areas of interest to the people will be addressed. Congrats Sir! |
https://www.nairaland.com/1516783/anambra-date-chief-victor-umeh#19527384 I am not surprised All Anambra money that should have been put to better use... |
Only N10 b in 6 years! Lamido family is the least corrupt. In Some Other States more than half of the total allocations/revenue can't be accounted for. |
Good let me add that both Awka North and South are for Ngige. Aniocha for APC is unlikely Ihiala may likely swing to LP Both Orumba s is also a win for APC. I wish Ngige will take up 4 LGAs in the south Senatorial zone. For him to get >14 LGA wins and avoid runoffs. |
I am a Christian but I will deny CAN any time any day as long as Prophet AYO is the leader. That CAN looks like a cult and a political cult for that matter. The Catholic Church did a good thing by pulling out, I expect more churches to pull out. Pastor Ayo does not talk, act or dress like the described Jesus. I wish him the best but being a Christian Leader is a NO for me. |
Ngige doesn't need people from Osun or Imo to win. He is a Brand Once the election is free and fair,; INEC being unbiased. We know Ngige doesn't need all those stuffs to win, he is simply the best among the top contestants. I don't even see Apga coming 2nd... except if the election is marred by irregularities |
I believe Mr. President is against the rigging. The presense of these soldiers will help prevent APGA foot warriors from violent protest when it dawns on them that their Master and his 3rd Agenda is no longer needed in the State. The election result will summarize the feeling of Anambrarians towards Obi |
The aspect that should worry us most is why he stole so much and is still doling recklessly the balance that a thoughtful government will use to achieve something meaningful. # 7 of your questions Only one state is over rating the situation of APGA. Apart from Gov. Obi and Senator Chris Anyanwu that is occupying #1 and 1in 3 category of politcal post respectively, there is none other. In Anambra for instance, The 3 senators none is APGA, State house of assembly is divided among the parties, So where is the control? Peter Obi was intent on destroying APGA, he never thought it wise to pursue Igbo course because of selfish reasons |
All this SUVs for APGA campaign? They look to me like brand new. Will Obi spend this way if it were earned money. That is typically how stolen money is spent. Toyota will wish for another APGA spending spree. |
Besides the civil servants have resolved to vote against Obi, Traders/Onitsha residents are yearning for a change, Students still don't understand why he refused to pay bursary/scholarship and youth groups are still trying to come to terms with Obi's inability to engage them with jobs over the past 8 years. The Truth is Obi must go and doesn't matter how much he brings into his third term agenda. |
Bensonn: Ubah will come a distant 4th position behind, apc, apga and pdp.Sideline Ubah to your own peril, he has done his home work properly. Except something happens between now and Saturday, his coming fourth will be the most surprising of this election |
Umeh is taking his vendettas to a new level. The information I am getting is that for this period under review he has become richer by about N5 billion with numerous choice property scattered across the country and beyond. How did he achieve this fit? In the build up to this election, there were so many financial negotiations, he started off with persons he promised to deliver as APGA Governorship candidate various sums were received to that effect paid directly to his bank account. Let me not bother any with the figures and the personalities involved. But most worrisome is his ability to demand huge sums from Mr. Obi/APGA Contractors almost on daily basis with the assurance that APGA will win with Obiano, capitalizing on the perceived Obi's desperation to have Obiano as Governor. Obi himself has times without number expressed despair on the ability of his man to defeat Ngige which he described as the most challenging. Umeh, who is the most exprienced politician in APGA by my reckoning happens to see the desperation of Obi as an avenue to get his own piece of the Anambra cake and will never stop demanding for more money(all non refundable ). Chief Umeh had insisted in his demands it will only cost money to defeat Ngige in this election. In all, I am happy for Umeh for his ability to extract such sums from the Billionaire Governor. But winning this election? I don't see that happening The election result will finally be tagged And the Master deceiver (Mr. Obi) was deceived |
Nnewi, Onitsha and Awka are the key because of the population of voters. For now it will really be difficult to say between Ngige and Ubah who carries the day but as soon as results start coming in, if Ngige can take 4 LGAs from the south ....runoffs will be avoided There could be runoffs between the duo |
@sinc9ja we don't predict elections results like that. The most important factor that helps in fore casting results is the marketability of the brand (Candidate). I will give Anambra North to Nwoye he is far more selleable brand than Obiano. Don't forget that Onitsha has a large chunk of the North population and Ngige commands respect among the traders. Obi is hated there because of the frequent harassment by his tax/levy collection 3rd -4th position in this election is between APGA and PDP depending on who gathers a little more votes from the South. Votes from Awka (civil servants domain) is definitely not for APGA. Then Nnewi/Ihiala axis is for Ubah but Ngige still has some good votes . APGA is out of the equation here. |

I don't know where the idea of a collaboration between PDP and APGA is coming from. Mr Peter Obi knows that Mr Nwoye, though, respectful, is quite tough and resolute and will never, I repeat, Never! provide him cover for his loot. Instead of Nwoye providing that cover he will prefer to recover the money and be a Billionaire in dollars himself . It won't work, most politicians/people in Anambra are angry with Obi the reasons are obvious. His style of Playing God (If not for this election Chief Victor Umeh would have been thrown to the dustbin where he will be grumbling ) and his penchant for deceit (exemplified by his altitude that there was no money for mega projects like the Independent Power Plant for the State. No money to pay minimum wage, bursary and scholarship for Students ) |
There is no collaboration between APGA and PDP. The only thing that exists is the guarantee of full support for GEJ presidency by both should they win. They are both out to give their ambitions a good shot. Mr Peter Obi knows that Mr Nwoye, though, respectful, is quite tough and resolute and will never, I repeat, Never! provide him cover for his loot. Instead of Nwoye providing that cover he will prefer to recover the money and be a Billionaire in dollars himself . So the only hope Obi has is still Obiano, that is why he is doing everything to install Obiano. As a matter of fact Nwoye is far more a selleable brand than Obiano, so why will he want a collaboration, at what terms? concede his votes from Anambra North? Never! |
He has worked hard He has good programs no doubt, looked sincere as well. But his expenditure for this election is way out of this world. One of the projects I think he shouldn't have embarked on for now, is that Church project at Nnewi. He has done alot for the poor. Win or lose, he will remain a Hero in the lips of people. In as much as I liked his confidence and ability to spring up surprises. What happens if he does not win. I hope he has not played into the hands of some fake seers or priests who go about promising politicians that God said bla..bla..bla If the election is truely fair he seriously has Ngige to beat. I wonder how he will pull it through again it all depends on his ability to enter into last minute negotiations/concessions/ redeemable promises with specific community leaders particularly in Idemili, Orumba and Aguata LGAs. The time is now, supposing there will be no runoffs. |
I sympathized with PDP after watching the rally at Onitsha with Mr President in attendance. Why can't PDP be united for once So that was all pdp could gather from all they have, for a party that has almost 70% of top "big men/power brokers " in Anambra. So where is Sir Emeka Offor, Chris Ubah, etc Well, it will record some achievement which is that it defeated APGA at Anambra North... Ngige and Ubah remain the only serious contenders |
I don't need Nov 16 to know that Obi /Obiano is on their way out. But just for confirmation, come Saturday. @Chino have you heard of Nwoye? The guy's campaign is giving lethal damage to your Master's ambition The last grip of APGA is the belated LGA election, I doubt if other political parties will trust APGA/ANSEC for fair election, Courts... The Billionaire will be probed! |
Chino my friend The only thing you see as a slight: Enugu-Onitsha xpress. Na wa for this your sight, I salute your blinding loyalty |
There is this campaign banner somewhere at Orumba that was torn down by the youths of that community. They left the banner of other candidates . They said it was torn because of Obi ... Poor Obiano With the way Nwoye is going, I wonder if any significant vote can get to Obiano from Anambra North. |

Kingbang and Co. Try and save whatever you may have been paid from ur tax collector Job. You are soon going to be out of job. Why does it irritate your group so much when we say massive looting took place in Anambra under your Master? You always call Yaba left instead of objective countering of issues, do u really know where Yaba is situated? |
Lol . The Probe begins....in few months |
Even the Funds released for the Flood relieve including donations were cornered, uptill this moment the spending of that money running into billions cannot be accounted. His category of Billionaire thrives on wickedness |
Another good thing is that Anambra has a very good opportunity to show Obi the way out. The reason is simple: he could have put the election beyond any other candidate had he been honest with his financial dealings and the development of State. His popularity would have been such that if he had presented a Goat for his continuity agenda the goat could still be voted. But now his defeat on Saturday has been 'sealed and delivered' in the minds of Anambrarians especially those aware of his deceits. The INEC boss for the State does not come across as someone that will yield to those really 'tempting' offers. The Prof is insisting on fair election, the outcome on Sunday will tell! |
If you are from Delta, also cry for your State. I have some tips on how rich Uduaghan has become. Although he is not as smart as Obi who seems to have more expert knowledge on how to wire money to foreign account using named commercial institutions. The good thing is that most of the wiring were intercepted, adequate info gathered on the source by some patriotic men/women. So, in the coming months and years he will be explaining to us why such sums had to leave Anambra and for what purpose. I am hoping the men he used as surrogate in those wiring will talk. Most of those men we know, do not have that kind of money. One was a simple contractor before now but since his friendship with Obi blossomed, he has formed a habit of wiring about $150m on the average yearly to certain accounts in Europe. |
After about eight years in Anambra Government House as the emperor ruling over all the tiers and whatever cash the State can muster, he has become a financial power, one to be reckoned with. More discoveries of the investments he has cleverly made for the future of his 'children' are beginning to surface. He is indeed very rich and being a governor for him has been so rewarding. There are new reports INEC is being wooed to alter the results in favour of his stooge to the tune of tens of billion of naira. That gives a rough idea of what was stolen that must be 'protected' at all cost. Before Forbes add him to the prestigious billionaire list, I think it has to wait till Anambra State recovers its $3Billion. I don't know how long it will take but it will begin next year, the State needs its money back to attend to the overwhelming infrastructural deficits. I hope the next administration will be courageous enough to pursue and recover all. |
