They've not seen anything yet, wait till he initiates and funds the impeachment of Obiano to force him to bend to his caprices. Cunning as he is, he will appear to the public as the peace broker whereas in the dead of the night he authenticates the plot.
The only way to properly checkmate Obi is for Obiano to move to PDP. All these visit to Ojukwu grave, wiping public sentiments will not work. Obi is clever and can easily manipulate GEJ to do his biddings

Landlords should be encouraged to re-paint their houses. Many of those 4/5 story's built in the 80's around Nkpor, Obosi needs retouching. A government led campaign on re-painting of those houses will add so much to the beautification of the Onitsha axis

Do u know the owner?

Peter obi the fraudster is likely to have a quota in that company.
I have been asking this same question for a while. I have not been able to get info on the owner(s) but I have my suspicions as you expressed above.
1. This company got contracts running into several billions from Obi administration, many were initiated just few months to the end of his tenure. You know how these things play out, for the projects Obi hurriedly initiated doling out large mobilization fees, expectedly something goes to him. I will insist here that he is no Saint. As long as, the incoming administration decides to continue with those projects without proper re-negotiations the former continues to get his cut. This is the main reason for abandoned projects and may also be the case with Obiano's indecision or 'slow' decision on those projects.

2. They did shoddy jobs in most of their completed projects, not that the project sums are not competitive, some are even expensive for no just cause, the roads are not in swamps. I'm not doubting their ability to deliver quality roads, they have qualified engineers in their services. This is what happens when a contract of N1 billion is awarded for instance on the pages of newspaper whereas the contractor is forced to make do with a quarter of the sum for the project -completion. This didn't happen exclusively in Anambra State but why some of us are so concerned about this is that the roads especially, are so poorly done that his so called 5/10year maintenance deal will not suffice. I don't think it is viable for any contractor when the actual sum they received for those jobs is small and the roads badly done plus the erosions. Although, contractors are there for business(gains), an independent contractor will try to do a project in such a way that it will earn him other projects.

They worship English language, yet they can barely speak it ,properly.
When did speaking good English become a criteria to measure smartness?
You are a fool and everybody knows it,now.
I was waiting for this your reply. He is as smart as Chief IK Anajemba (RIP)
Now let me add that that intelligence was lacking in many of his actions especially in his priority and scale of importance attached to the development of Anambra. Do you know what somebody of Obiano's intellectual capacity could do in 8 years with the way he thinks and acts? Have you seen him walking up and down donating state Government's money to private establishments. No, he knows what to do with money and knows the business of governance
Today individuals are donating to the government in solidarity.

Bros, why do you keep wasting your time in beer parlours where you source for news and information heavily coloured and diluted by the quantity of "palmy" and cheap beer the informant has already consumed? You say you were reliably informed, abi? Did they also reliably inform you that CKC Onitsha in the 70s was a top school famous for its educational standards and you didn't pass into it with beer parlour-type brains. Ditto for UNN in the late 70s and early to middle 80s. By the way, how come Obi "the dullard" was so dull he managed to be the boss of Obiano at Fidelity bank for several years before he also became the boss that helped him to power. So much for your reliable information and "dull brain."
Obi did not school in a vacuum, people were there with him in CKC and UNN. I don't doubt them because I have heard him severally struggling with tenses that his years of exposure to the Westerns and banking couldn't better
Your Palmy and beer parlor analogy was hilarious, Cheers 1like 4 u

CBNIM: Obiano ke? Yet to see his achievements ooo! I have a feeling he will be worse than Peter Obi sef!

Are you nuts? They are not on the same intellectual plain. We were reliably informed that Peter was a dull brain from CKC to UNN, it was the same story. The moment Obiano came in he showed that natural intelligence in managing the State, he knows what to do at every turn unlike Peter who go about donating money.
Forget ANIDS, minus roads which I dare say are substandard Peter did very little, and he's always quick to say he was busy planning for 6 years and saving money in 'Fidelity' bank. Now where is the money he saved? Obiano being a grateful being does not want to expose Okwute

The security in the State is Watertight. Miscreants now try their best to be law abiding and I have seen a number of trucks with Vigilante Inscription on patrol. Besides, there has been no report of robbery and kidnapping in my area as opposed to what we use to have.
Obiano is doing well, he has shown uncommon intelligence in tackling the menace permit me to borrow Odenigbo's word - a technocrat

Who is feeding you with that idea? Handover by election or selection. Beyond the money laundering he is assisting some persons with in Abuja(by the way, he is very good at it), he can't be trusted with any position.
Ask him how easy it has been for him with his efforts at clinching Sen Puis Ayim's job, everybody knows he is not technically sound to handle that SGF job

It is high time Obiano left APGA, there is no structure to try rebuilding. May it not be too late when he realized that his impending troubles could have been avoided

Abagworo:

My heart is gladdened each time I read contributions from well informed intelligent people like you. Peter Obi has not left APGA but will surely leave like others. Victor Umeh is evil and is even holding Obiano to ransome today as Obiano is paying him 40million Naira monthly aimed at raising 5.6billion from Anambra money for Umeh's senatorial ambition. I will be the least surprised person if Obiano leaves APGA for Umeh.

Most people who condemn Rochas for leaving APGA know little about how the whole APC thing came to be. Umeh was the one who negotiated with ACN and ANPP for a merger with APGA and when things were already concluded he collected money from PDP and made a U-turn claiming Rochas went alone. The real founder of APGA Chekwas Okorie has long left the party.
Very Correct Sir,
Obi is very clever, whether he leaves in anticipation of securing a better appointment or stays to keep whatever pact he has with Ojukwu, he has lost nothing APGA has been a means of unfathomable financial reward for him.

Apga will still stand. Why ? Because we still have trailblazers like Okwute,Oseloka Obaze,Dubem Obaze,Tim Menakaya and a host of other men of great prestige whose confidence and faithfulness to the party is unshakable. Apga is still a very young party and their better days are still ahead. Apga will shame alot of doubters and solidify her presence in Nigerian politics.

Mr. Odenigbo your hero Mr. Peter Obi Okwute is a crook. A well know crook since 1988; full of deceit. The amount of money he spirited away in his double tenure can deliver 800MW of electricity for the state. Think about that

My views on APGA is not predicated by the defection of its members in the house of reps. Of course, APGA's remnant will always be as a fall back for desparate politicians

Politics / Opinion: Obiano Should Move To PDP Without Delay by Cuche: 2:53am On Aug 10, 2014
I don't see any reason why inspite of the imminent collapse of APGA, he will insist on sinking with a party whose ideology has been slaughtered on the altar of greed. He doesn't have any pact with the late Ojukwu to preserve the party Mr Obi Peter, the smart crook has and should be left to keep that. Obiano will not require the endorsement of the late Ibo leader to win an election in Anambra State if he keeps the pace of changes he has started in the State.
His joining PDP will not bring Anambra to the dark old days of under-development, all he needs to do is to meet with the president and discuss. I have weighed the options, it can be negotiated and remains the best for himself and the state. Afterall, all that was stolen by the so called pdp godfathers is a child's play to what was spirited away by Chief Obi the Okwute.

First, APGA has been regarded as an appendage of the PDP and can be crushed to oblivion if the powers that be desire with so much ease. APGA's relevance in the past governorship elections was only because the PDP's interest in not having to allow their fiercest opposition any hold in the State superseded. Most of the Characters remaining in APGA at this moment are there because they needed empire of their own where they can play gods dictating who should rise or fall. As it stands today, PDP's support for APGA which was so strategic in the immediate past elections is not guaranteed beyond 2015. There shouldn't be any fears as to the resounding wellcome Obiano will get should he decide for the PDP now and there is no better time than now.
Secondly, Anambrarians aren't fanatical as such concerning political parties as history has shown in fact, the language that sways our support is development, quality projects and efficiency in governance. Obiano has started well and the populace are showing sincere identification with his government. The doubts about the process that brought him to power are gradually being erased simply because of his Sterling performance these few months. And as long as he continues to win our hearts through laudable projects genuine supporters will follow him whichever party he decides on.
From all permutations he will definitely have troubles, unavoidable troubles in APGA and the reasons are too obvious. The masterminds of the troubles are not difficult to pick from the pack of APGA.
My worry is that he Obiano doesn't seem to possess the liver to handle these men when it begins. He doesn't seem to be as Sinister as some who will fight fire for fire. These could hamper the development of our beloved state on the long run.
The time to move is now

Odenigbo stop praising Obi, he can't be trusted, he has great criminal mind

Obiano at some point will refuse to allow the huge monthly deductions from the State account meant for the upkeep of Umeh and co.
When he appreciates the magnitude of the work to be done in the state and the limitations of the revenue, he will make a passionate appeal to some of these unrepentant and merciless political parasites to take a cut. Of course, like motor park touts they will never take less and that is the problem.

Obiano should handle these issues wisely because any internal battles will definitely hamper the developmental drive of his administration

Sen Annie Okonkwo will have my vote should he contest . He did well previously, In those days, when one needs attestation from his office for a job application, not only does he grant it he personally follows it up.
I don't know much about Chief Umeh apart from his unwillingness to allow another hand at APGA chair.

I strongly disliked Mr. Peter Obi for his unrepentant criminally active mind. However, I have never denied that he did some jobs, substandard as they maybe, some are serving. Will he ever relinquish APGA chairmanship position? Such a juicy post that signed a widely circulated contract to be collecting forty million naira from Anambra in addition to heavy duties paid by contractors. Simply put he nets average of Sixty million naira monthly.
During Peter Obi's tenure, he was collecting twenty to twenty - five million monthly

If I were Umeh I will stay put at APGA as Chair and muscle out any contender as long as I continue to enjoy the purchased sympathy of the Courts.

Anambra Central belongs to PDP and whoever they deem fit to occupy that post in 2015.
Politics / Lifelong APGA Chairman Chief Victor Umeh For Senate by Cuche: 3:49pm On Jul 21, 2014
By Charles Onyekamuo
National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, Sunday joined the race for the Anambra Central Senatorial seat in the2015general elections.
The seat is currently occupied by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the November 16, 2013, Governorship election in Anambra State, SenatorChris Ngige.
By his formal declaration at the launch of APGA solidarity movement in Awka, Umeh is thus challenging the incumbent Senator for the zone, Ngige who is widely believed to be eyeing the seat again after his failed bid to win the Anambra governorshipelectionlast year and two other aspirants in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the zone, Chief Kodilichukwu Okelekwe and Senator Annie Okonkwo who recently defectedfrom the APC to his original party, the PDP citing lack of internal democracy in the APC.

@Abagworo, Please advice your Rochas to look for another party assuming you're that close to him. APC is not serious, they are yet to prove otherwise. Who are they presenting as the alternative to GEJ? Buhari, Tinubu, Mallam El rufai, Nyako?

Until they present a young, vibrant and saleable candidate, And marshal out their plans for Nigeria they're not ready for a shot at any serious post in Nigeria.
For now all they do is maligning the office of Gej
Buhari and El rufai may have better intentions for the country but they have history of very wicked acts, overly vindictive actions are in their files. Nobody likes such leaders

Secondly, PDP has perfected the act of scientific rigging and now has the power to install anybody they want to. The methods they've invented have been experimented and proven(In Anambra& Ekiti) to hand any opposition a resounding defeat
