But Malta has no embassy in Nigeria. Hence, you have to first apply through the Italian Embassy. You'll fill form as if you're going to Italy, only your itinerary will show Malta.

I have no business in Italy.

Now, Italy or Malta has no date available.

I may have to apply for France then, cos it's Christmas holiday and it's near

now I get. Going through France is your best bet then.

from one of your posts above, it seemed like you want to apply for Italian visa but don’t want to apply as a first timer? Or do they process Malta visa?

I think if you apply as a first timer, you will get the visa since it seems you have a good travel history.
Italy is closer to Malta than France.

If you can’t get a way to process malta visa and really want to visit, apply for the Italian visa and enter malta from there.

Speaking to them on phone, a lady said you must have been to one of USA and UK in the last 4 years to be considered frequent traveler.

In the last 5 years, been to almost 10 countries, including France. The lady still said I should pick first time since I only traveled to France once and all other countries once as well, without UK and USA.

A lot of confusing policies.

Just cos of Malta, Italy didn't allow me pick date.

My first Turkish application was denied. I only got a paper from the embassy that says MY APPLICATION WAS NOT APPROVED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT POSITIVELY EVALUATED.


Then I felt maybe it’s because I had a virgin passport. So I got a Schengen visa and Traveled 5 countries. Still came back and applied last month with 2 million in my account.

My passport came today and it’s still same thing NOT POSSITIVELY EVALUATED. What could be the cause and what can I do please? Help me!

maybe because return ticket to turkey is about 2m and you had just 2m in your account.

I didn’t use their website for anything. I don’t know their web address.

I paid 255 dollars and N26,200.
The payment covers insurance.

About kids and their requirements, I don’t have those details. I applied alone.

I stated when I applied in my initial post.

DHL returned my passport to me with the visa on it. I didn’t have to re-submit my passport for visa.

Just received my passport a while ago with 3 months tourist visa.
Submitted my passport at Voya visa Lagos on 20/9/22. Exactly two weeks today.
The process wasn’t so clear here, seems there’s another forum where Turkish visa hopefuls meet.

However, I was able to make do of the info I could gather from here, and I’m grateful for it.

The year started so terrible for me, my parents divorced, I had a heartbreak from a six years relationship. Just at the point of proposing the the whole thing collapsed (I buy ring self propose but she just said not interested let's wait a while again ).

Financially, I was lost, had almost nothing in my account couldn't pay rent and no source of income anywhere.

Then I had to put up with my friend for sometime, got a job after some weeks of searching job wasn't really ideal for me so after about 5 months I left again back to that depressing state.

Please pardon my long epistle and advise accordingly.

I had a Tanzanian visa in 2018 but couldn't go. Later, I got UK visa in 2019 and got to Heathrow but the point of entry officials confirmed the visa to be fake. I couldn't argue this because it was done by an agent (My fault).

The UK visa was cancelled and I came back with the next available flight to Lagos. But before the cancellation of the Visa, I have made copies of the UK visa without any stamp on it. The copies are still with me till date. The passport in which the visa was had expired and I have a new passport now.
After the incident, I have been to Dubai and Turkey for vacations.

I intend to apply for France tourist visa now but don't know if it is necessary to include the unstamped UK visa in my application or not.

Your advise, blames and opinions are highly welcome.

I please can one explain how this turkey visa application works? Because I’m confused.

At the point of application, they will collect your passport.

Where I’m confused is that on this thread , I have seen that they will return the passport and tell you that your application has been forwarded to the embassy( like the poster above)

Are they not supposed to make a decision before returning the passport like other embassies do, which indicates that the process has been completed?

Is it that they will ask for the passport again if they want issue the visa?

I’m asking because I just applied for a tourist visa on This week in Lagos and want to know how the process works, so I can know what to expect.

I paid 200k for visa application (255dollars + N26,200) for a very crappy service, which is really expensive for just a tourist visa. I learnt the naira payment was N13,000, but was suprised when I got to Voya visa.
