Depends on the salary, depends on the company or job. Not working in access bank or mtn Nigeria oo
But some companies have very sweet packages, benefits and career growth that can be a very good way to raise wealth gradually.
As long as entrepreneurs are the wealthiest people on earth, only a very few make it. This wealthy we are talking about sef, can someone describe it in specific terms? Because I know there are jobs that can make you wealthy. |

Trust me, the UK is not boring. My work and some times social life takes me around the UK quite often and there are lots of places of Interest in these four Nations. well, I use to watch travel videos on YouTube extensively before I decide which country to visit on holidays. I’ve never found anything interesting that will compel me to visit the Uk. I enjoyed my trip to nairobi and Cape Town/ Johannesburg more than trips to Europe. I’m thinking it just have to do with personal interests anyway. |

I thought about this, but I was like, what if the case officer feels it was deliberately omitted and then rule against my application.
The reference number is with me, which is what was sent to the embassy.
I can send soft copy via email and also do hard copy drop off myself at Walter Carrington on Monday.
Just worried about the reaction of the officer. but how come you forgot to include your personal account statement or was it deliberate? Them no day forget that kind thing for visa matter nau. |

Blackfinegirl: let me try to explain it to you.
You get a three months visa (Permit to travel and enter ) from June 30th to September 30th, so you can enter anytime from June 30th to September 29th and your 3 months starts counting from the day you entered brazil, just like the way its done in the US. If you entered brazil July 25th, you 3 months starts counting from July to Oct. (Permit to stay).
I am open to corrections though. I’m thinking you should enter and leave before September 30th. If you stay beyond September 30th, then it’s illegal.you would have overstayed your visa |

Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by cucumbar: 11:43pm On Oct 24, 2022 |
Ashirioluwa: I am aware that travel history is a factor when considering visa applications, but it is not the sole reason.
It also important how an application is packaged. A thorough cover letter and the required paperwork are equally important.
Also, keep in mind that the "regular travelers" of today once filed for visas with brand-new passports. well, I think a lot of factors come into play in deciding who gets a visa or not and travel history is just one of them. If you are an employee, the organization you work with, your role and how much you earn is important. Some organizations open doors. This could come in handy for first timers. If you are a business person, the type of business you do and your turnover comes into play here. When I got my first shengen visa, I didn’t have what could be considered travel history, as I only had a dubai stamp and Brazilian visa that I had not used. Some one mentioned a very key factor on another thread and I’m going to quote it here( credit to pansophist) “To get a visa easily from any country, YOU MUST GIVE THE CONSULAR A VIBE OF AFFLUENCE. The consular must be convinced that you are least likely to overstay or abuse the conditions of your visa. This is where most applicants get a denial because it is difficult to prove”. |
Travel › Re: How Do I Begin To Travel The World With My Nigerian Passport by cucumbar: 11:15pm On Oct 24, 2022 |
The bolded sums it up. There are visa applications the consular will see and can’t help but approve your application. In fact, if it normally takes 1 month for visa processing, such applications will be out in two weeks. My brother will always tell me that…. Hmmm your documents look intimidating o. This one na express approval, and it has always been like that. Pansophist….one of the few monikers I always never jump his comments! you are ALWAYS making sense. pansophist: To get a visa easily from any country, you must give the consular a vibe of affluence. The consular must be convinced that you are least likely to overstay or abuse the conditions of your visa. This is where most applicants get a denial because it is difficult to prove.
So if your plan is to start traveling around the world in two years' time for example, then you must start planning now. necessary plans are things like registering your business and operating with a corporate account, to show the inflow and outflow of transactions, and you can boost possibly, and delay cash there. If you have any landed properties, are married with kids, or have any affiliations that show that you are thoroughly invested back home, then it is a plus.
What you must do is show that you have more ties back home than abroad. Lots of visa applicants make the fatal mistake of showing excessive ties with their destination countries, and no strong ties back home. They show ties such as invitation letters from abroad, financial statements from their sponsors, the strength of their relationship with their sponsors, and no ties back home that is equally or stronger than their ties abroad.
From the eyes of the consular officer, you are in the category of risk, and the visa will hardly be given to you unless your circumstances change. If your destination is the Schengen area, then it will help you immensely if you download the document titled ''visa code'' (REGULATION (EC) No 810/2009), this is the document that consular officers make their decisions from, and if you have ever applied for a visa before, you will notice that they quote sections from this documents when denying or issuing a visa.
As to the old saying, to catch a rat, you must be able to think like a rat. To get a visa, you must be able to analyze yourself from the eyes of the visa officer. Getting a visa is mostly something you qualify for or don't. And the consular officer will mostly just reveal your status to you. SO prepare well, don't rush, and make sure that when you hit, you don't miss. |

it's very simple logic and example, always looking for fault where there is none. Does your explanation make sense? Why do you always have to explain tinubu’s statements anytime he gives a speech? You guys are really annoying. |

KGD10: Tinubu keep showing the low intelligence of his haters!
He mentioned two things here
He said if borrowing is a crime, then America will be in jail (since they've got debt too). He also said if borrowing is a crime, people should stop using Lexus etc (which are not from Nigeria of course). He's saying there's nothing wrong in borrowing, only if it's used for something tangible such as development, just like there's nothing wrong with America borrowing since they're using it for good stuff. this your explanation no make sense. If you have to interpret everything Tinubu says, when he is not speaking Spanish, then that means there is a problem. You people should quit supporting rubbish because of your selfish aims. |

WannaHowzit: What are the best cities in the world?
These are the coolest cities to visit on the planet, as voted for by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller… and Cape Town in South Africa has found itself on the list once again.
The annual Readers’ Travel Awards celebrates the best of the best in travel, as voted for by people who love travel… the readers of Condé Nast Traveller.
Readers have to rate their favourite countries based on various criteria including food, accommodation, scenery, and value for money. A score is then given representing overall average levels of satisfaction.
And Cape Town scored 88.27 for 2022, putting the Mother City (SA's oldest city) at number 9!
This is what the publication had to say.
“On pristine beaches, penguins waddle about their business while leaping dolphins frame spectacular sunsets – and thrill-seekers head out on boats to come face-to-face with fearsome sharks. Away from the ocean, guests check into world-renowned hotels such as The Silo, the recognisable property where rooms feature contemporary African art and 360-degree views of the city. Table Mountain views are enjoyed over supper, especially during trips to Delaire Graff Estate for wine-swirling and impeccable tasting menus.”
But this is not the first time that Cape Town has been voted as “one of the best cities” in the world. In 2019, the Telegraph voted Cape Town as THE BEST CITY in the world… a title that the city had held onto for seven years! I
