PunkyOh: |
PunkyOh:And you lot still manage to parade naked before the world during your native zulu dance. Hmmm. Got to love those reed dance videos anyway. |
ok |
Etruth:Your Buhari has won eventually and rather than going out there to celebrate your most memorable highlight, your here asking me about my opinion as if that is going tochange a thing. The other states you mentioned are quite isolated, therefore, a different issue all together which I do not even wish to dwell on them at the moment. |
So, by implication, over 1.5 million people were duly accredited and in effect did cast their votes in Kaduna State, despite the widely reported malfunctioning card readers as well other technical glitches? If truly the INEC would announce such a result which even the neutral and by extension, the staunchest of APC supporters would admit is not a reflection of the true situation in that State, then it would certainly leave more to the imagination as to what might have transpired. We'll see. |
ok |
Amaechi clutching at straws as usual by saying GEJ appointed Rivers INEC Commissioner. By inference, i guess GEJ didn't appoint Jega, the INEC mole that has been hunting with APC at night and grandstanding to Nigerians at noon. Anyway, Rivers people have decided and Amaechi should live with it. |
The fall and fall of Boko Haram. |
The monkeys and baboons'll be soaked in blood in 2015 - Gen. Buhari. If you don't do it, its at the risk of your life. - Buhari. Nigerians beware. Nobody has changed this man as these statements are the drumbeats and war cries of a religious fanatic cum Islamic fundamentalist. Surely, this cannot be the change that Nigerians desire. Never again. Vote wisely. |
I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria… God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country - Muhammdu Buhari. Is this the change that Nigerians desire? I do not think so. Vote wisely. |
The rule is the law and the law that we live by is to stay true to self in this case. |
ayindejimmy:Ok nah. Have fun. |
Mishydoo:Sorry for my offensive post as I really don't like talking bad to people on the net. It does nothing constructive and sometimes, I wish i could back my words. Life is hard enough without having to read crap on the internet. Sorry bro. |
mickey45:Brother you don't have to berate yourself just yet as Buhari himself has not come out to categorically deny the statement attributed to him. Or are journalists no longer allowed to paraphrase a portion of their story? If Buhari must ride to victory on the crescendo of the euphoria created by this report, then he equally should be pious enough to assert the veracity or otherwise. As for credibility of the op, I read the exact story in today's edition of Thisday newspaper and that for me is a credible enough source. |
mickey45:Brother you don't have to apologize just yet as Buhari has not come out to deny the statement attributed to him. Or are journalists no longer allowed to paraphrase a portion of their story? |
TheGoodJoe:Currency redenomination in the real sense of the word is just a cosmetic approach that does not increase the real value of that currency. If anythinh, it is a deliberate policy carried out for the purpose of convenience or portability, so that a Zimbabwean for instance would not have to carry a briefcase full of money just to buy a loaf of bread. The best way to address a weak currency is to discourage imports and encourage exports and local production. Why should Nigeria for example be exporting crude oil only to import the finished product all over again, thereby paying foreing shipping companies for freight and other foreign countries for what we can do here locally? Why should our household electronics, automobiles and other equipments be imported when we should be talking about local manufacture because at end of the day, these are the things that count against our ballance of payment and as long as you continue to have deficits, your currency will continue to fall faster than the speed of light. As an aside, the latest news trending right now is that Nigerians are the highest spenders on luxury goods at Heathrow airport in London. Seriouly, why. |
Omooba77:China, on the contrary deliberately manipulates their currency to remain weak so as to encourage local manufacure of cheap goods in exchange for a strong dollar. So despite that they export tons of goods to the US, they still use the proceeds to buy trillions of US treasury bills to keep the Chinese Yuan remarkably weak via ballance of payment . The naira as things stand at the moment has no business exchanging at par with the US Dollars seeing as our industrial capacity is nothing to write home about and we are pretty much an import dependent nation. It is my humble submission though that Nigeria needs a stronger naira to pursue gigantic capital intensive projects like transportation, power and security, while we concentrate on agriculture and other local manufacture where we have economies of scale. Now, can a Buhari government - if there ever will be one - achieve this which is by no means a mean feat? That for now is still in the realm of conjecture. |
Mishydoo:Another low life masquerading as professor behind the keyboard. Well done Sir. I see your high IQ tells you to call people names and type like a two-year old. S.t.u.p.i.d wool. |
Mishydoo:So you know this and your medical doctor of a friemd didn't know it. Wow! Clap for yourself. So have you gotten him some homonal therapy to finally man him up the way you want? |
EMEzzy:Queer people have no sexual feelings for the opposite sex and no form of therapy or repentance can change this naturally endowed phenomenon. Nature is really diverse and this is how it has made them. There used to be time when Blacks were a minority and were treated to the worst form of indignation because they were seen as less than humans. women in the not too distant past also faced terrible discrimination which they overcame and are still overcoming in some remote places of this earth. Now, gays are a minority and are being treated as the scum of the earth. In Russia, they are dragged to the streets, beaten and pissed on. They are being lynched in Uganda and Nigeria has made a law to keep them behind bars. Please stop the discrimination against gays. They are humans like you and I and have a right to life. Live and let live. |
Deolaw:Matthew 19:11 - 12 Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others--and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it." |
Turn down for what? |
BluIvy:From the look of things, you have no life with nobody to talk to. That explains why you spend most of your time on a Nigerian forum making cringe worthy comments. I'm at a lost however on why you are hell bent on absolving South Africa of complicity in this heinous murder of a Nigerian even after admitting in your earlier post of drug related gang wars on the streets of SA. To make matters worse, you've gone a bizare step further to gloat and accuse Nigerians of hypocrisy right at the very moment we are grieving over a fallen brother. Please give your head a nice wobble. |
bigfrancis21:Most sensible response i've seen here today and doubt anyone could have said it any better. Sadly though, lots of folks here seem to have been radicalize by their religious beliefs, which in most cases tend to shape their viewpoints. |
iamord:Ain't it a bit too early to be mucking about and talking trash about something you could easily look up on the net? A decent brain cell will tell you that if you add four zeros to the cedi, you'll have ten thourand cedis exchanging for for N54.51 which is the real value before the cedi was mathematically adjusted by the Ghanaian government. Please get your facts right and stop embarrassing yourself with lame comments. I'm sure you'll come here and spout the same garbage by the time Zimbabwe knocks off further zeroes from their currency. Mugs. |
OXYGEN011:Dear me, some of you dumbos are so set in your ways that you refuse to acknowledge simple facts. I give up. |
OXYGEN011:The minimum wage in Ghana is 6 Cedis a day and 186 cedis a month if the average Ghanaian were to work the full 31 days in a month. Now, seeing that the Cedi exchanges at 54.51 to the Naira, by the time you multiply 186 by 54.51, you still have 10,138.86 Naira as the minimum wage in Ghana, excluding taxes and other deduction, while here in Nigeria, our minimum wage is N18,000 for a civil servant who works for just 22 days in a month. So, while it will take an average Ghanaian some 53.7 months or four years and five months to earn 10,000 cedis which is the equivalent of 545,100 Naira, a Nigerian with a minimum wage of N.18,000 a month can actually earn this amount in 30 months and two weeks or two years, six months and approximately three weeks. So chilax bro as we are far ahead of Ghana in this race to become a billonaire. |
OXYGEN011:what is wrong with you dumbos? Do you not see that Ghana knocked off 4 zeros to give their currency an artificial value. All you need to do is add 4 zeros to get the real value of the cedi. |
wristwatch:Ghana knocked off some zeros from their currency via what is vaguely described as mathematical abracadabra. The real Cedi is nowhere near the naira in terms of value. You can look up the minimum wage of Ghana to have an idea. |
mchimezie:Cretin |
No disrespect bro but I can't seem to place my finger on why your 60-year old father would all of a suden start behaving like a bull in a Chinese shop and dishing out thunderous slaps to his own family members. Has he always been this hot tempered hedgehog or is this a recent development? As for wanting to move out, it all depends on your financial warchest but even that is not advisable seeing as you want to do so in a haste. Remember the saying about hasty climbers. Whatever the case, I think you should just roll over and let the whole thing blow away. Its not worth the drama. Don't even bother asking your mum and if she wants to explain, tell her its all gone now. As for your Pal, I'd say you should keep a healthy distance. The two of you mayu hve been watching too much nollywood and your now toying with strong words like its some kind of conundrom. You think all the while he's been looking after you, there hasn't been a thing or two or you did that pissed off his nuts? This should serve you both as a lesson. Lastly, youre on the verge of becoming independent and you don't need distractions right now in the form of beefs to prove meaningless points. Come off your high horse. |
If you believe this, you can believe anything. |
