The IGP revolving door continues to spin. Anyway, this m.o.r.r.an should now take time out to learn a thing or two about patriotism and absolute loyalty in national service. |

Seeing as you lot are hell on outdoing the other in this quest to prove that tooth ferries never existed despite there being not much evidence, I hereby move the motion that a high powered committee be constituded to probe if this lunatic in the making actually trekked from the land of lagoons to the centre of oyel unity. And for your information, I do not require any voice votes whatsoever to ratify this motion as I have already banged the gavel and I'm sure you all heard it loud and clear. And in case you already swallowed this jaundiced nonsense about a man telepotting from Montevideo to Alabama and you still want to disagree with my motion, please feel free to bang your head hard on the wall. @Lalasticala, please ignore the nay sayers as feeding these lost sheeps with too much grissles has robbed them of the ability to be critical thinkers. This happened once in my village and steps have been taken to ensure it never happens again. And to those who can't see this is a light hearted joke, please let me know you're interested in heading this juicy committee. |
Why do some Nigerian journalists prefer to needlessly dance around with irrelevant cliches rather than going straight to the point to report an event? |
This must be how our ancestors migrated all over Africa and beyond, either in search of food, for mating purposes or to hunt down the the ever elusivel golden fleece. Kudos man. |

Pls who owns Nigeria's oil wells? Govt or private investors? Does the government pay subsidy to itself or investors in the oil sector? What is really happening? Why would the govt only be interested in oil and not other sectors like agriculture? If the govt is handing over the power sector to private people, what are its plans regarding oil? Why do we have the NNPC and not a government backed agric commodity hub? Why aren't we taxing every taxable individual? Why should a landlord take N1.5m as rent per annum in the FCT and not pay a dime as tax? Why are the mai shai, the mai suya's and the likes not being taxed? Finally, how did GEJ get the alleged N2 trillion he spent on his re-election campaign? We better start making these things public if we wish to move forward. |

1. Some young men are bread winners of their family and are contributing to educate their sibbling/looking after their parents. Getting married could disrupt this natural process. 2. Some men also are accomodating members of their immediate and extended family and can't just ask them to leave so he can married especially if the apartment isn't large enough. 3. Most ladies seem desperate to get married when its obvious they don't have a decent means of livelihood and this puts a guy off. 4. Marriage saddles a man with too many burdens and in some instances have been said to be archaic and oppressive. 5. Women may not understand this but men want great companionship with secure and confident women. Sadly, the decent looking ones come with a default mindset that they are entitled to every good thing while the rotters act way too insecure and clingy which could quench the flame. 6. As a result of bad parenting, most girls nowadays are just spoilt brats who think they are doing you a favour by agreeing to hang out with you. So they keep hopping from man to man hoping to make a good catch. 7. The metropolitan nature of certain cities make the cost of settling down and raising a family highly prohibitive. 8. No jobs. After all is said and done, love won't buy pampers and baby's milk. 9. Poverty is the second worst disease and this affects both man and woman. 10. Health challenges and genetic makeups could limit a man/woman's options when it comes to getting married. |
This is a public forum gentlemen and you don't just make laughable and ridiculous statements without facts to back them up. Posters take their time to craft beaufitul piece, only for some obnoxious jerks to call them names without giving reasons why they are disagreeing. Stop upsetting our groove if you have nothing meaningful to say. Take your hatred and bigotry outside please. |
Abeg make them give her one polar bear joor |
This dude must have a chip the size of a rock on his shoulders to be making these childish comments. He needs to know that partnership business cannot work without cooperation..... |
Obama is nothing but a Muslim fundamentalist as he has shown by his words, actions and body language. If you're still in doubt, then you probably haven't read some of the statements attributed to Obama: #1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam” #2 “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer” #5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.” #6 “Islam has always been part of America” #11 “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.” # 100 “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” "Islam”s final push for world domination has begun and humanity will suffer in ways you can not begin to imagine if evil men like Barack Hussein Obama continue to lie to the world and remain as respected leaders of powerful nations." |
This is what you get when you add the fruit of an illicit affair to religious dellusion. |

When in 2007 Obasanjo wanted to hand over the reigns of power to former Governor of Rives State, Dr Peter Odili, the Edwin Clarkes and Asaris of this would came out in force to oppose such gesture, citing such reasons as the Igbo ancestry of Dr Odili. As a result, Obasanjo instructed Odili to stand down, while the Jonathan candidacy was pushed to the fore because he was seen as a bonafide Niger Deltan. So, Asari must never make the mistake of thinking the Igbos will align with him in this latest episode of his macabre dance. The Igbos have already been weakened economically. The oil rich delta has been carved out as a seperate region which now bears the name South South and they alone are feasting on the 13 percent derivation from the FG. This explains why each time the Igbos extend an arm of friendship, the South South say they have come to take back what originally belonged to them. Again, Asari must not forget how Ken Saro Wiwa, the so called saviour of the Niger Delta was lionized by the region for leading an insurrection against the Igbo and taking over their properties which they described as abandoned properties. Asari must realise for his own good that the struggle for resource control by the region is one that irritates the rest of Nigeria because this was not part of the idea for carving out that region in the first place. Finally, the Igbos stand to gain more by alligning with the ruling government than this bloated mutineer wannabe in Asari Dokubo. As it is commonly said, there is no permanent friend or enemy in politics; only permanent interests. If the Britains and Americas of this world can still close ranks with ze Germans after what happened in WW II, then anything is possible. |
Elections time and time again in this country have been shown up to be nothing more than a conspiracy of the elite. In other words, whoever is most favoured by the aristocracy would most likely emerge the winner. Now, the big question is can the APC genuinely glve Nigeria 40,000 megawatts of electricity in eight years as they promised in their manifesto? Let us hope so. |
Nonybb:True words bro. We cannot be fooled. They rode on a tigre to power. Now we'll wait and see how the tigre devours the heroine stained magogs that are riding on its back at the moment. |
From what has transpired thus far, I am of the view that this has been a fight between the haves and the havenots; between states who depend solely on federal allocations to pay their workers and those who want to see Nigeria practise true federalism. Buhari has promised a lot and I hope you champions of good governance will live up to your creed by holding him to his words. I do not in anyway subscribe to the idea that this election result will be our last point of order. Rather, it could be a watershed to the ideological movement that hopefully in the end will enthrone true federalism in this country. So while you supporters of the APC savour in your victory, I pray that you would do so in a manner as to not unnecessarily inflame passions. For those of us who did not have it our way this time, please be glad that at least we had our say. We go again. |
I'm astonished as to how Sahara Reporters, a well known APC apologist news outlet managed to have these presidential election results well in advance before even the INEC itself, the only body recognised by law to publish the authentic result? To make matters worst Sahara's result is just an identical copy of what Jega's INEC has been announcing to the whole world. The timing even surprises me the more because I visited Sahara's website yesterday morning and printed the result they posted and believe you me, I could hardly tell a difference between what's up there and what Jega has been spewing out since yesterday. The mind boggles. |
