Completed my DS-160 and have the personal information with me and the other one I was asked to come with to the embassy along with my passport. However I didn't want to be missing out something here. It's not a stupid question, I just need it for purpose of clarity.
That DS-160 confirmation I was asked to come with do I print it out in black and white or color? Most folks I have asked says I go with both. For those who filled that ds-160 form plz advise me here

Good day all. I have an issue and I don't know if anyone here can help or has gone through same. Ice been tracking my passport online after I submitted for renewal. It changed yesterday to schedule a follow up appointment. But each time I try to schedule the appointment, it comes up with an SQL Exception error. I sent a message via my profile to them and after asking for my passport number, they later got back to me today to contact Lagos niv directly. I called one of the US visa lines this morning, and they said from their end, after checking my profile, that I haven't been asked to schedule any appointment. That I should send a mail to Lagos niv to clarify the error. That their system isn't showing I need to schedule an appointment. My passport is still with the embassy. Dhl said it hasn't gotten to them yet when I went there this morning to collect it. I have however sent the mail to lagos niv, no response yet though. but I'm wondering what could be wrong. Why this back and forth. Ceac website says my passport is still undergoing administrative processing. Any suggestions on what to do or I should just wait?

I suggest you just wait for the reply from Lagos NIV. If it's taking too long, then send them a reminder. It may simply be a network error.

Two invitation letters? Doesn't look good to me. If the brother is married, then it should be a joint invitation letter from the couple. Sending individual letters may trigger suspicion that the brother might not be married or having a reluctant relationship with his sister hence the wife sending a separate one.

In addition, did she include her change of name documents which shows her madien name matching that of her brother? Is he really her brother or cousin? I know some people refer to cousins or distant relatives as brothers the ECO would first look at the names to check for similar surnames before anything else.

I don't buy the idea of presenting Whatsapp messages but at least it goes on to show a discussion was held preparatory to the visit but then an email would do more justice to the back and forth between them.

What if no email or Whatsapp? Would the ECO prefer a taped message? Not quite but rather your post letters suffices hence my suggestion of using emails.

The brother in the UK is inviting his immediate younger brother and his family. They are from same parents and bear same surname. They did separate invites to give credence to the application,both of them also gave their payslips, data pages, Residence Permits and all.

I feel that where you made a mistake was in not supplying to the ECO, evidence of your communications with your brother, like emails, whatsapp messages that has span over years. That's a great way of showing a relationship. Let gurus in the house throw more insight. My 10kobo

Yes, they included invitation letters from the brother and even his wife. They also included his bank statement and tenancy agreement. These documents were exchanged via email

Can somebody please help me torch light this matter. This refusal was based on not providing evidence of relationship. They submitted Birth certificates and plenty pictures. What else were they to submit please?
Is there a way to address this?

My problem now is that my agent used his email for booking the appointment so the latest date has been sent to him and besides there's no way I.can print the new confirmation of appointment without him. And here he is asking me to pay fresh money for the whole process because of the shift of interview being oblivious of the fact that I have enrolled with nairaland travel school. Please gurus kindly help if there is a way out to bypass him.

Do you know the email address he used? If you do, just call the embassy and let them know you are unable to log into the email as you dont remember the password.
You can also call them if you dont know the email and tell them. They can effect a change of email addy on your profile

Quick One good people. My son is 2 years plus and a US passport holder. My wife and i just applied for the UK visitor visa(1st Timer). Do we need to apply for him(my son) as well or come with him to the visa appointment center on the appointment day? He is to travel with us if visa is approved.

He won't apply,just submit a photocopy of his US passport data page with your application (take along the passport itself). He doesn't need to go with you to the visa centre. Just make sure to include him as part of the travel company while filling your application form.

He would be sponsored by the graduating friend what other document would he need to supply on his own for the visit visa.

He does not have much in his account.

The friend graduating and sponsoring would need minimum of how much as sponsor to convince ECO.

The sponsor must be able to demonstrate that he is able to sponsor the trip without going bankrupt. His income and Account balance must be suffient for the trip

Yes, you fill all the names since you are all dependant on him. Put documents that also establish your cousin's relationship with him such as pics. Your cousin should include her statement of account too.

Anyone that used Wycoff, do u know if they accept lab tests from Nig? The hosp's response to this qstn was a bit too vague for me. if they dont, any idea of how much their tests costs? Finally, the 130 dollars per visit, is it just for the 1st visit u get to pay this while subsequent visits is discounted or is it the same amount each time? how many visits is envisaged 1 would have if travelling at 34 weeks? there seems to be too many gray areas/hidden costs which makes me a bit skeptical to use them but of all d hospitals mentioned here in NY, they seem to be closest to my host at 40mins drive. 1. It depends on who has more money among you to pay for the trip's expenses. It will be good if either or both of your parents sponsor though.
2.Yes.First appointment letter, promotion letter, retirement letter, any letter to supports their present working status.
3. Your parents' payslips and statement of account to support pension and gratutity since your dad is retired. Anything to serve as evidence of income. Your sister won't submit since she is not working,she will be sponsored by your parents
4.Parents property documents if any
5.Photographs that shows relationship with you
6. Invitation letter from you. But if your uni has any letter designed for such, that ll be good
7.6 months visit visa

I don't understand why people now add utility bill to their application, did it just become a prerequisite? Cos I have never used it for any application before

Technically it is possible as it’s is the prerogative of the applicant to choice which visa category and duration. However, in practice you’re advised to start with 6 months and progress to 2 years, 5 years and utilmately 10 years. Only the ECO has the final say to approve. I have seen cases of approval for less visa duration than applied for. You travel history may count, but you must be a high profile personality well know locally and internationally to get 2 years UK visit visa at first attempt.

No... It simply means your application may be delayed before it is returned cos they need to do some clarifications

Why not just sponsor yourself? You have enough funds in your account and this will give your application more credibility. Prepare your work documents, statement of account,your payslip, proof of accommodation in the UK, invitation letter ,proof of relationship with the person inviting you. Etc

If you read the sent scanned papers well, u ll see where it's written that you should reply them with a date you ll want for your first appointment. When you reply them, they ll send back a letter showing that you have an appointment with them on the said date

Yes, you can fill your application and book your interview right now and choose a date that's like 6-7months away. So you ll be 6-7months pregnant at the time of your interview.

Good morning all, pls i posted here last month that i went for drop box and was given 221g form and i appeared for interview and was denied cos i had my 2nd baby in US 2016 May and paid all my bills, have my zero balance and statement of account.
NOW i just realised this week that am pregnant for our 3rd baby, pls should i reapply and try lagos as i was denied at Abuja and do B2 alone or i should apply with both hubby and my first son as we always apply together and we all was denied last month. Will it seem desperate as we were just denied last month but by then, i wasn't pregnant.

I think you should chill for a while before reapplying. Since you just got pregnant, wait till you about 6 months gone before reapplying so has to establish the fact they you were not pregnant during the renewal.
Why exactly do u think you were refused? Did u not declare you would use the expired visa for birthing when you got it?
You need to consider why you were refused in your next application.
