@ igbo boy, i get enough negative things to say about ibo, hausa and other tribes but atimes its good to hold your tongue and let peace reign. I rather choose this path and be diplomatic about issues.

PoliticsRe: Wh by CuteTj(m): 8:35am On Jun 03, 2011
Poster, this seems to be a very silly question. You should personally go to Tinubu's residence at Ikoyi to ask him your stupid question instead of asking us nairalanders. What university did Jonathan, Fashola, Okorocha, Sambo etc attend? Before i proceed further with you let us know your motive for asking this type of question.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsene Wenger Needs To Be Sacked. by CuteTj(m): 6:26pm On May 20, 2011
Over the last 4 years, Arsenal's performance has gone downhill. Why? Arsene Wenger has refused to change his philosopy and ideology. That is specifically Arsenal's problem. Agreed that (1) We moved to a new stadium which cost us a lot of money but dont forget we have equally made a lot of profit since then but that hasnt translated to success on the pitch (2) We have featured in the Champions League every season in the last 15 years (3) He has had made us a big club. But what would you when you have a bunch of spineless, lazy and not determined players? We are the butt of jokes of rival fans. We have cried over Arsenal, we have wasted money on them and What do we get in return? Trophy less seasons, below par performances and a 6.5% ticket increase. What a way to reward the fans! We are fed up with this nonsense. Nobody is greater than Arsenal Football Club so therefore if Wenger is not up to the task again then he should leave. He his not indispensable because before him there was AFC and after him we will still exist. We are giving him just 1 more season, if he doesnt change he can go.
PoliticsIndividual Or Party: Which Did You Vote For In This Past April General Elections? by CuteTj(op): 11:50pm On Apr 29, 2011
Individual or Party: Which did you vote for in this past April General Elections? This past election showed the acceptance and rejection of some political parties & individuals in Nigeria. It did produce some interesting scenarios. We did see in some cases whereby a political party did well in a certain type of election and performed woefully in another type. Take the case of ACN in the Southwest which won almost all the seats in the State House of Assemblies, Federal constituency, Senate and all the Governorship elections excluding Ondo state while they lost the Presidential elections to the PDP except in Osun state. Another instance is the CPC which did not live up to expectations in the State House Assemblies, Federal Constituency, Senate and Gubernatorial elections but performed very well in the Presidental election in the North. There are other instances like Ngige & Akume winning a senatorial seat for ACN in an APGA and PDP controlled state, Dariye winning a senatorial seat for LP in a PDP controlled state and some other small examples. From these scenarios above, it showed that at times people voted for individuals like Pres. Jonathan in the Presidential election and not PDP and Gen. Buhari for CPC in the same election while neglecting other CPC candidates in other categories of elections. Although i did not vote because i wasnt around but there is no way i would have voted for a PDP led government for now. After 12 years of ruling Nigeria at Federal level and in majority of the states in Nigeria, there has still not been any significant improvement recorded in the finances of Nigeria and the economic & educational well being of Its people. What is now their use? 80% of the people that spoiled Nigeria if not dead are current members of the PDP so therefore a vote for Pres. Jonathan is still a vote for these bad eggs. Though personally i have nothing against the President but i do have alot of bitterness for his party. They said they are going to rule this country for 50 years. If we allow them do this, they are going to run this country down. Nigeria is greater than any Political party or Individual because before these parties and individuals came into existence Nigeria was already existing and when these parties and individuals cease to exist Nigeria will still exist so therefore PDP and the likes of Obasanjo, IBB & co. should not hold Nigeria to ransome. This set of people and their generation should have retired or be preparing to retire and allow us their children move this country forward. Since i was a kid i was repeatedly told that i and my generation are the leaders of tomorrow and that tomorrow i believe has arrived which is NOW!!! At my age, Gen. Gowon became the president of this country but if i declare my intention to lead our nation, they will say im too young & inexperienced to rule Nigeria. Who told them that age has got something to do with the brain being mature enough to know the right things to do to improve the life and welfare of people? Enough said. I pray and hope that as time goes on, Nigeria will have the right people at the helm of affairs. Well this post is not meant to pull down, criticise or slander a political party or individual but its to disclose the reasons we don't like a political party or individual and the reasons we did not vote for them in the 2011 General Elections.

A party came and gave me 5k as a tip for the hardwork i put in at my polling unit in Plateau State and not to help them rig oo!!! (i won't mention the party). But i would say im proud of myself despite the not too good environment we are working in and meagre pay we are given by INEC. Its a lifetime experience, can't wait to be done in June. Thank you Nigerians for putting your faith in us.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu and Co Have Damaged My Candidacy- - - - -Ribadu by CuteTj(m): 8:54am On Apr 15, 2011
I dont blame the ACN for their actions. In this case ACN is the senior partner here so even if they give Buhari their support for the presidency and ask for the vice presidency and they are not given they have nothing to lose. If they cant get Bakare to stepdown before the election because the law doesnt permit the exchanging of candidates 48 to an election so if BB eventually wins getting Bakare to step down after that is not bad. That is how the ACN can only gain in this case not by agreeing to share the government 50:50. Although other Nigerians that are not politically minded wouldn't understand the reasons the ACN demanded that Bakare should stepdown for them and asking him to sign a postdated letter of his resignation. I still say ACN has done no wrong here, they are just trying to protect their territory.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu and Co Have Damaged My Candidacy- - - - -Ribadu by CuteTj(m): 8:29am On Apr 15, 2011
This news that Ribadu has agreed to step down for Buhari is false. It is not official, i dont know where 234 got this news from. Eventually if Ribadu even agrees to stepdown for Buhari it is the right decision bearing in mind that he just joined politics some months to the elections, this is Buhari's last election and dont forget Ribadu is younger than him so therefore he can wait till 2015 and beyond. Tinubu's is not the devil that he is being potrayed though he's a bad guy. He alone shouldn't be allowed to have the final say because he always wishes to control everything. All the same Tinubu is a good and brave guy and always wish well for the people except the opposition(PDP).
PoliticsRe: Will Fashola Join PDP Or Will He Overthrow Tinubu In ACN? by CuteTj(m): 9:58am On Apr 13, 2011
@Beaf. Are u advising Fashola to leave Tinubu and ACN? Just because everybody is singing Fashola's praises now doesnt make him a Grand Master. To me Fashola is not too politically motivated and minded to try that kind of a thing. He should just concentrate on governance and developing Lagos. He should leave the dirty politics to Tinubu. They make a good tag team. For now Tinubu can do without Fashola but Fashola cannot do without Tinubu. How many years has he used in politics? He better dont let praises get into his head. Remember pride goes before a fall. It is people like u that always bite the fingers that fed you.
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by CuteTj(m): 6:37pm On Apr 10, 2011
From the results of the NASS Elections it shows that a revolution is happening in Nigeria. Naturally Nigerians are never willingly to die so a bloody revolution cannot happen in Nigeria but we are carrying out our revolution at the ballot box, you and i know its a less dangerous than carrying guns but its the most effective method. 85% of the people that have ruined this country if not dead are currently in the PDP. So a vote for President Jonathan is still a vote for these same bad eggs. PDP says they will rule this country for 50 years but after 12 years and still no significant improvement since 1999 i advice we stop them. From the result of the NASS elections we are already RELEGATING PDP to the 2nd division. We are tired of seeing them play uninteresting, rough and boring football that hasnt even brought any meaningful trophy unless the Emirate Cup. We want to see silky football with the Champions League to show for it. What we are seeing is Round One, Round Two is next week saturday with the Presidential Election. I know Goodluck Jonathan will be jittery now. Please let us come out and vote out the ''Poverty Developing Party''.

Its surpising how an uninformed entertainer is allowed to represent the youths of Nigeria. I heard he was just nodding his head through out the supposed fake interview. How can Someone who only sings about his sexuality and not what the youths of this country are going through. I am not surprised and im sorry to say this, i dont expect any thing better from a man that seems unintelligent who with LUCK just finds himself ruling Nigeria and a Nigerian university dropout. I must confess i am disappointed in Dbanj

I don't think he had a premonition about death. It just tells you that these people are aware of death and coupled with the life they live, it could be sooner or later.
