There was a fracas today in Wukari, Taraba state Nigeria, over the killing of 2 People of the Tiv native.

Reports says that 2 people were allegedly kidnapped and killed yesterday, which led to students of The Federal University Wukari, embarking on a protest as early as 6am, which later turned violent as guns were fired into the air, and the school was forced to shutdown and students advised to leave the hostels or the school will be forced to make them leave.

Not too long, a truck came in to vacate only the Tiv students of the institution as others were left to their fate, the school has closed down indefinitely.

It will be recalled that there have been incessant clashes between the Tivs, Jukuns and the Fulanis in state.

Adegoke studied Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Sussex. She initially worked within the IT sector first as a software engineer at Logica (later CGI Group). While working there she studied part-time at Birkbeck, University of London and obtained a Law degree in 2009.

Mixed Reactions have trailed the marriage between Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed, and his New Lebanese-Nigerian wife, Natasha Mariana, over the wife's age, many suggested that the governor should have gone for a much younger bride as they consider her older than him, while others said that the couple were perfect for each other as they were both advanced in age.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, wedded his second wife, Natasha Mariana, a Lebanese-Nigerian woman at the Syrian mosque in Ikoyi, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Friday.

The wedding attracted a plethora of political figures and bigwigs within and across the confines of the country’s upper echelon of power. Others were academics, clerics, family and friends of the state executive.

Mariana becomes the second wife of the governor, who is already married and has children.

Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the Bauchi state governorship election in March 2019.
