So in Jos one time I went to buy food in one mamaput and I was together with this guy that started working newly at my office not knowing that the guy was wearing a camor vest under his zipup. So when we got to the resturant there were three officers there and one of them just noticed that my guy was wearing a carmo so he now called him and was asking him why he wore it. Like I said earlier, gionee devices comes with a lot of hidden secrets and this feature is one of them, there have been a loud cry from users talking about this same issue, that is why I have decided to write this post to solve this lingering issue.

How Can I Find My Encrypted Files?

First step is to go into the homepage where you encrypted the files, it varies according to what type of file you encrypted, if it is a contact, go into the call log, if it is a video or image, go into the gallery, if it is a text message, go into the text message option, if it is a normal file, go into the file manager.

With your 2 fingers pressed on the screen, swipe them together as shown in the image below, it will open up the encrypted menu for you to input your password or pattern if available, else, it opens up the encrypted file hidden private space.

Voila!!! There are your files, you can decide to either decrypt them, view, or delete them from there.

Alternatively, you can go to Your mobile phone settings - click on Security - Security Password (enter your password /pin/pattern) - Click Private Space - Enter Private Space and there, you will see all the files.

Android phone manufacturers make these phones without giving you total control of your device, they limit your control for some reasons, one of which is security, have you ever wanted to uninstall an inbuilt application but you found out that the option is disabled for that particular app? I was trying to hide some files on my phone. I didn't want to use password so i encrypted them. I checked my files to see if i can decrypt them, i couldn't find them. Yes it's gionee SPlus

You are totally wrong, This app digs in your phone for deleted applications, not a recycle bin, it has its limits, if the deleted files stays too long and you keep using your phone and deleting other stuffs, you won't be able to restore your oldest deleted file, the earlier you recover it, the better, that is why sometimes, your recovered files gets corrupted, because it has stayed too long and the system is slowly getting rid of it.
