The Jos Plateau lies in the Nigerian Middle Belt, and even in this region known for cultural diversity, it is unusually diverse. Most of the plateau’s languages are in the Chadic family (Isichei 1982), which is part of the Afro-Asiatic family. Two of the Plateau's largest ethnic groups are the Berom, in the northern Plateau, and the Angas in the southeast. Smaller groups include the Mwaghavul, Pyem, Ron, Afizere, Anaguta, Aten, Irigwe, Chokfem, and Kofyar.

Some of these artistes are either from plateau state or they grew up there. The following also represent j-town anywhere and anytime.

So in Jos one time I went to buy food in one mamaput and I was together with this guy that started working newly at my office not knowing that the guy was wearing a camor vest under his zipup. So when we got to the resturant there were three officers there and one of them just noticed that my guy was wearing a carmo so he now called him and was asking him why he wore it. Now this my guy is very skinny while I am built so the officers said they were goin to beat me on his behalf that was how one of the officer asked me to kneel down and I started recieveing slaps and boots, they drenthed me with water.
If not because some people in the resturant wanted to start recording the whole thing I would have been brutalized.
Now this was because I was built.

It's a beautiful day my people, and welcome to another new month, may the good lord continue to keep you.

Yesterday, a Nairalander ( Vivipop) asked for the solution to this problem which so many Gionee users are facing, so I came up with this post.

I am here to give a solution to everyday gadget issues as promised, and this time, we will be talking about some features in the latest gionee devices.

Gionee is no doubt stepping up its game in the technological world will a lot of advancements in its latest releases, it is no doubt one of the most loved mobile phone brands in Nigeria, and one of the top manufacturers of mobile devices in this country, gionee sure knows how to give solutions to problems fazed by its customers, one of which is the epileptic state of electricity in our beloved Nigeria, it has successfully tackled the problem of low batteries with the launch of its monster 5500MAH battery devices and are hoping to go even higher in future.
https://www.acebyte.com/knowledgebase/wp-content/uploads/54.jpg
So enough of the long talks, let's get down to business, the latest gionee devices comes with many secrets features that most of its users don't even know about, I will be breaking them down one after the other as time goes on, but today I will be dwelling on the Encrypt/Decrypt feature in the latest gionee devices like the new gionee S1, M5 and more, many users don't even have an idea about what encycript or Decrypt means, so I will break it down

WHAT IS ENCRYPTION/DECRYPT ?
Encryption is the process of making data unreadable by other humans or computers for the purpose of preventing others from gaining access to its contents.

While Decryption is the process of taking encoded or encrypted text or other data and converting it back into text that you or the computer can read and understand. This term could be used to describe a method of un-encrypting the data manually or with un-encrypting the data using the proper codes or keys.

Now you have an idea of what Encrypt and decrypt means.

Many users of the latest gionee devices has at one point or the other encrypt their data, images, messages or call logs intentionally or unintentionally, the problem now is, how do I see my encrypted files? Like I said earlier, gionee devices comes with a lot of hidden secrets and this feature is one of them, there have been a loud cry from users talking about this same issue, that is why I have decided to write this post to solve this lingering issue.

How Can I Find My Encrypted Files?

First step is to go into the homepage where you encrypted the files, it varies according to what type of file you encrypted, if it is a contact, go into the call log, if it is a video or image, go into the gallery, if it is a text message, go into the text message option, if it is a normal file, go into the file manager.

With your 2 fingers pressed on the screen, swipe them together as shown in the image below, it will open up the encrypted menu for you to input your password or pattern if available, else, it opens up the encrypted file hidden private space.

https://i.imgur.com/1bJPeEo.png

Voila!!! There are your files, you can decide to either decrypt them, view, or delete them from there.

Alternatively, you can go to Your mobile phone settings - click on Security - Security Password (enter your password /pin/pattern) - Click Private Space - Enter Private Space and there, you will see all the files.

And there you go, we now have 1 lesser problems in the gadget world now, always come back for more, invite your friends, and feel free to ask for help regarding any gadget issue, we will be glad to help.

kings09:
Explain d root part. Hw do i knw my device is rooted

Android phone manufacturers make these phones without giving you total control of your device, they limit your control for some reasons, one of which is security, have you ever wanted to uninstall an inbuilt application but you found out that the option is disabled for that particular app? Well, that is where rooting comes in, you can't uninstall that application because you don't have total control of your device, by rooting the device, you can uninstall the app and do even more things with your device, rooting tho has its disadvantages as a rooted phone will render your warranty void, pls refer to this post to understand rooting better http://tutsmap..co.ke/2017/07/what-is-rooting-of-android-phones-vivid.html
And you can check if your phone is rooted by downloading an app called Root Checker on the playstore.

Vivipop:
I was trying to hide some files on my phone. I didn't want to use password so i encrypted them. I checked my files to see if i can decrypt them, i couldn't find them. Yes it's gionee SPlus

I think I may be able to help out, but that will be tomorrow, I will write a post vividly explaining how to do it.

dahunsy:
Coughs***clears throat# Loads of app perform same funtion on google play store these apps can only recover files deleted after installing the app not before its bin installed its just like recycling bin

You are totally wrong, This app digs in your phone for deleted applications, not a recycle bin, it has its limits, if the deleted files stays too long and you keep using your phone and deleting other stuffs, you won't be able to restore your oldest deleted file, the earlier you recover it, the better, that is why sometimes, your recovered files gets corrupted, because it has stayed too long and the system is slowly getting rid of it.

Vivipop:
Good info.

How about how to find an encrypted file on your android phone? I erroneously encrypted some files on my phone, now I can't even find them on my phone not to talk of decrypting them.

How did it happen ma, and what phone model do you use?

Is it a gionee device?

kings09:
Bookmarked. Wat do u mean by a rooted gadget?

Rooted phones sire, you root Android phones in order to get root privileges.
