Becomerrich. . .you once criticized another poster on NL for his use of English. Yours is most incoherent, disjointed and akin to someone who's losing his mind! What sense does the multitude of alphabets you wrote up there make? That bunch of crap you wrote seems to be mere rambling of a man struggling to grasp what he is trying to communicate! In case you don't know, proof-reading what you have written helps to weed-out grammatical blunders, poor spellings, typographical errors, ambiguous statements, etc. Learn to proof-read before you hit the "Post" button! Now, tell me which of the stories on SR is fabricated, give me your proof and I will investigate and perhaps, you might convince me that they (SR) intentionally fabricate stories to drive traffic to their website! |
How Police Personnel Raked In 9.35Billion Naira From Roadblocks In The Southeast-Nigeria In 18 Months (Onitsha- Nigeria, July 28, 2010)-In Criminology, blue-collar crime is regarded as any crime committed by an individual from a lower social class, as opposed to white-collar crime committed by individuals of higher social class. An example of a blue-collar criminal is a police person who demands for a bribe at the police check-point. On the other hand, it is bribery when one other than a public official corruptly takes the initiative and offers what he knows is not an authorized fee to a public official; and it is extortion when a public official corruptly makes an unlawful demand which is paid by one who does not realize it is not the fee authorized for the services rendered (see latest (2009) edition of the Black’s Law Dictionary). It is on the basis of the foregoing that we decided to take a cursory look at the blue-collar criminality or roadblock extortions in the Southeast-Nigeria from January 2009 to June 2010 or in the past 18 months. We had severally observed that between June 1999 and December 2008, the Anambra State Police personnel unlawfully made a whopping sum of N3.3Billion from various police check-points or roadblocks in the State. dayokanu:Dayo, thanks jare. . .they definitely are the same but since she denies, nothing doing! Oja oyingbo. . . |
^^^ Maybe you want to modify your post because your first statement and the next were a contradiction. In any case, people understand what I mean! I am not saying a replica of Okocha but in terms of a role in the SE! They don't have to be the "same" but play similar roles in the team and that is all that is needed! It is possible that someone who is even "better" may be found but my point should be well understood! |
@Forum, apologies for this minor distraction of the thread but. . . Ileke, I have been looking for FL Gators on this NL for a while now but she seems to have disappeared? Are you she or should I wait for another? Your style of posting seems so similar but I'd like to know and if the change of ID is part of some "covert operation", you can let me know by email. |
This question keeps coming to my mind! How can we find another Okocha? It is almost unbelievable that out of 150 M+ of Nigerians, we cannot find someone who at least can step or be trained to step into his shoes! Maybe the useless NFF can hire Okocha himself to produce 3 "Okocha's" by training every year? Otherwise, things go hard for our soccer these days! How about finding another Yekini? A player that WILL surely score on any slight chance or error by keeper/defender/midfielder or attacker! It is almost unbelievable that Nigeria cannot find another player like Yekini! Why? How about Mutiu Adepoju the headmaster? Almost any chance he has to head the ball will be a goal! How about Uche Okechukwu, Oliseh nko? Amokachi and Amuneke? Nigeria, stop disgracing Nigerians with pathetic players who are past 40 but claiming to be 18! Wait, does anyone remember Nigeria's triangular passing which I think I only saw between 94 - 98? That style of passing appears to be shifting triangles all over the pitch and when that triangular passing pattern is formed, the ball can almost NOT be taken away from the Eagles of those days! But now? Even 3 passes in a straight line or random directions is difficult for us to make consistently! Is it that no one has seen that pattern works so well, breaks and wears down the opposition to our benefit? Well, never mind that I am asking for a replica of players that were really good in those days! Spain has Xavi right now, arguably the best midfielder and best passer of the ball on the planet! Like when Okocha was Okocha, hardly can anyone tackle the ball away from him. . .he will dribble, hold the ball and make an intelligent pass! Xavi is not even a dribbler but he holds the ball so closely, you will have to foul him to take the ball and if you don't he will make a deadly pass splitting your defence to Messi or any other available attacker to score a goal! But Spain, also have Iniesta. . .who is younger and when Xavi stops playing, he will fill in very well. Then Fabregas. . .whose game is not at the top like Xavi but what I am trying to establish here is a lineage of great ball holders and passers! Nigeria was silly to let Okocha, Yekini, etc all retire without any replacement but 419 age cheaters! Please, get us our young Okocha's back so we can watch and enjoy good football again!! Imagine, there are people here who are never Nigerians but as soon as they know I am Nigerian and any conversation about sports comes up, their next question is about Okocha! There's this guy who is Turkish and if he meets me in the elevator, on the staircase, he must ask about Okocha! Naija, please stop disgracing me. . .I am soooooo TIRED ooo ![]() |

Well, I did not insult anyone or call names in any of my post otherwise, please point out where I did exactly that. I was only pointing out the need not to completely believe everything that is put out there for us by "foreign" companies. Please, what is wrong with demanding something be proved before you ask me to believe? This is not personal and I will also now leave your thread alone as I am not here to argue or fight over anything. |
Interpol ke? For local Nigerian matter?? Hahaha. . .this country!?? ![]() |

Bialegend:Some people's deep bigotry, tribalistic and racial prejudices are the MAJOR reasons why Nigeria cannot win anything in this world! Individual skills? Yes, we have plenty but together (team) spirit in everything (even nation building) is LESS than ZERO! Thanks to people like this who if are so bigoted they can only turn progress into regression! BTW, contrary to your tribalistic rant, the entire TEAM is NOT igbo! They are Nigerians and if they so thought like you, they wouldn't have chosen to represent Nigeria. . .what a low-life bottom sucker! ![]() |
Farida Waziri will demand only 50% of the loot and nothing will come out of this stunt! Someone already named her EFCC - Everybody Follow Come Chop. Useless scums of the earth! ![]() |
So it is now over 2 years, where is the ship? I hope they remember to watch discovery channel to get a good idea what a warship really would look like not going to buy and refurbish some WW I artifact! ![]() |
Congregation of low-life racists and tribalists who are totally incapable of learning anything from their past! |
Let the analysis continue but can't you people notice that ThisDay is twisting this news item? Ribadu did NOT say that he will not contest, rather he gave an open answer that may mean Yes, Considering the possibility but definitely, he did not say NO (yet). A lot of Nigerians do not have internet access to read the news themselves but rely on the bullshit published by corrupt Nigerian newspapers like ThisDay. |
If wife insists, a simple medical test can show there is no sex involved. |
Has anyone thought that this company will probably be employing a lot of Indians in place of equally qualified / better Nigerians? I don't know if there are Nigerian companies in India and if there are, if they employ more Nigerians than Indians. However, where I am, it is impossible for a foreign company to employ expatriate staff for jobs a local candidate (citizen) can do. We know that most investors in Nigeria rake in billions of dollars every year and most of this money will be shipped out of the country. Add that capital flight to a lot of jobs being given to foreigners when there are Nigerians to do it and before you know it, they will ship millions of their Indian relatives to Nigeria to "boss" Nigerians around in their country. This does not and cannot happen in India or any developed country! |
^^^ Look, whatever you like say about this company and worry less about my opinion! You should stop taking Panadol for someone else's headache. It doesn't matter what you say or think, agree or disagree with, what will be will be and what will not be will not be! |
Kunbee:No, not getting excited about a potential someone possibly thousands of miles away! But nice to meet you! ![]() |
Yar'Adua was criticized a lot buy Jonathan is another Yar'Adua and should be made to start to feel the heat NOW! I think Jonathan is another pinhead and will soon be down on his luck after squandering all the goodwill he has with this madness of N10 B anniversary and traveling all over the world with hundreds of useless politicians at Nigeria's expense! |
Well, I see a line-up of jackals ready to start a feed-off frenzy over my straight-up comment about how this might be another BS. . well, we see a lot of the multi-nationals here in their true color and how they conduct business - nothing compared to how it is in Naija. How many promises did the buyers of the company (Vodacom, V-Mobile, Celtel, Zain) make in the past and how much of it was fulfilled? Anyone got the REAL numbers and not conjectures? Well, I have nothing against them investing even $6 B in Nigeria, but how many times have Nigerians bought into promises, promises, promises. . .and much less than that was implemented in the end? Well, for the poster saying he is in the telecoms sector (congratulations) because I was one there and ran riot from my Abuja base while I was in Nigeria. I still have lots of friends in that sector in Nigeria but have now moved on to fry a bigger fish so I am not just talking because I like to waste time saying nothing. By God's grace all of us will be here by the time they have gone beyond their $600 M investment and I will be VERY GLAD to be wrong so at least that will be one more company doing as it promised and investing in Nigeria and when I come home, I can try out their (hopefully better) service. Until then, I remain cautiously optimistic! |
Another BS being sold to Nigerians! Haha. . .a country that can not check that anything is really what it is claimed to be! |
KB. . .well I am unashamed to admit that I like it . . .kai, wetin man go do? LOL. Well, ladies like that are not plenty on this side sha. . .anywz, I am just getting a bit curious now. . . ![]() |

Well, it is not easy to date a virgin, really. It can be really annoying but if you love her and she loves you. . .then stay. If you do things right, you guys will grow into some little play-play until you bang her! Again, if you do right. . .she go bang you crazy every time because after she starts doing the do, it is difficult to stop ooo! ![]() |
@Poster. . .well, I am not sure how much advice could translate to immediate benefit to your grades but I will tell you one thing: YES, you can make tremendous progress on 2 conditions: 1. You shouldl not think of your previous "bad" grades in such a way that they affect your current semester/performance. 2. You are ready to work really very hard, as if your final grade depends on the work you are doing in your current semester! Well, I think I can tell you confidently that it is possible because I finished from Ife, studying engineering in one of the courses in the faculty of technology. My initial grades were good and looking on to a 1st Class but I had only one E in a 4 unit course and that crashed my progress! Thereafter, my confidence was really knocked off-balance plus the usual stress, work-load and some personal "problems" at that time, I pulled off fewer A's, more B's and C's in the next couple of semesters! My CGPA was not going to rise anywhere until my second semester part 3 when I came to the point where you are now! I decided to look only to what I was doing and concentrate on it. I looked at my initial goals and re-set more realistic goals of getting my GPA every semester to increase, thereby have my CGPA on the upswing again. I achieved this and set yet another ambitious target of finishing every semester with a 1st Class GPA (4.50+) and then my work was cut out for me. I tried to maximize the use of my study time yet had time to go to all the SUG congress (and I think I only missed one) until I graduated, went to most shows that I could at that time which I didn't do before (in short relax my mind and body). Remember all work and no play?? My results till the end were excellent: I had 1st Class GPA's to the end and 5.0 twice! I finished with a very good grade in the end so, I can tell you that you can definitely improve and get much better grades and finish strong! |
Hope this is for real or just campaign gimmick?? |
