The throne must be returned to the HAUSAS, who are the original owners of the Land. Enough of Fulani imperialism. |
casualobserver:But it is inconvenient for them. They had to go through other routes . Now they can fly direct. |
Kenyamo has been impressive as a minister, but his response shows that this desperation to restore flights to Dubai is for the benefit of the elites, who have invested our stolen wealth in that city, hence the need for a direct flight to Dubai. |
Is Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan not Igbo? I thought Igbos said that some Niger-Delta people are Igbos. |
yinkabeauty: |
Yorubas and Igbos should have been in different countries You got this one wrong. Modern states are not about blood or ethnic affinities. Modern States are about a people coming together to advance common interests. Moder States are based on social contract, which is an agreement on how a group of people organize their society and govern themselves. People who are different in orirtentaion and ideology can come together to form a country, because in spite of differences, uniting makes them stronger. Modern States are not homogenous! |
I built five units of one bedroom as rental property and I spent more than 1.5 Million in providing meter for each unit. Water full my eyes. It was free at some point o. |
The reaction to this post reveals a lot about Nigerians. Nigerians are not outraged by corruption and stealing. Many see it as normal and will do worse if they get the opportunity. The level of immorality, lack of values, greed, and avarice in Nigeria breaks any scale. I dare say that the average Nigerian is a looter waiting for an opportunity . |
But the president can single-handedly destroy this country. Buhari started it, and Tinubu has taken this destruction spree to another level. The constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria––that fraudulent piece of shit forced on us by the military against our will –has vested the president with enormous power . The president of Nigeria is like a monarch. President Goodluck Jonathan famously said that if he used a quarter of the powers he has under that constitution, he would be a dictator. So, don't deceive yourself Mr. Olusegun, the President of Nigeria can change the destiny of Nigeria. |
There are things that can be done immediately, the Politicians are the number one cause of the depreciation of the Naira, so they won't take action. What do I mean, they are the ones that go with Ghana Must Go bags of Naira to change into dollars or pounds at the BDCs, thereby mopping up the dollars in circulation and creating scarcity. Now these must be done: 1. Digitalize forex transactions. The importers should be able to pay for their goods abroad using digital platforms (special Naira-dollar cards, etc..). When this is done, there will be no need to go hunt down abokis at BDCs before to buy dollars. A mechanism should be put in place that enhances transactions from Nigerian accounts to foreign accounts. If there are concerns about fraud, the Nigerian government should step in as a guarantor to foreign entities and businesses. If this is done, the BDCs will be put out of business and the "big men" and Central Bank Officials, who benefit from the current system, will never let it happen. 2. We do most of our business with China, we should not have to convert our Nairas to Dollars before assessing the Chinese currency. We should be able to transact directly without any intermediary currency. 3. We must insist in selling our little exports (crude oil, etc) in Naira. If you don't want to buy, then go away. We must firm about that . 4. There is too much Naira in circulation. Buhari indiscriminately printed money, about 23 trillion Naira. I don't know if Tinubu is doing the same, but if money is excessively printed, it loses value and causes tremendous inflation. This trend has to be reversed. 5. Allow for the import of food (at least for a time period) to bring down the price of food. Allow for the import of cement to break Dangote's monopoly and bring down the price of cement. 6. Legalize the "illegal refineries" and fix the government -owned ones so that we stop importing fuel . |
I am not a fan of Wike, but this directive has all shades of wrong. It is dictatorial. Seeing the comments of many people supporting Fubara's actions in the circus shows that Nigerians are wired to love dictatorial acts or dictators and autocrats. That's why a lecturer will behave like a Demi-god to the students; that is why a small official at the airport will behave like he or she is a demi-god; that is why the taxi driver will act as a Demi-god to the passengers; that is why the parish priest will stand up and threaten parishioners and does not feel he is accountable to them. Nigerians are wired to love or tolerate autocracy. |
Tinubu is nowhere to be found as we are speaking. This can't be a recent event |
Who do us this thing for Nigeria? No more morality or values. All this plenty grammar on top person way thief Billions? gO AND ASK kOGI PEOPLE WHAT YAHAYA BELLO PUT THEM THROUGH. Nigerians are terrible people. Almost everybody, especially the sophisticated morons, is a potential thief. I am beginning to believe that we deserve the criminal leaders we get. |
I must confess that I don't know much about the (dis)advantages of citing a US military base in Nigeria, but as long as the Northern elites are opposed to it, I am for it. The North has always been against the progress of Nigeria, and are bent on keeping Nigeria captured to the Northern agenda. I am for the US base in Nigeria! Bring it on, |
He is Biafran. Igbo Amaka! |
Reading the comments makes me weep for Nigeria. I am beginning to believe that the mentality of the average Nigerian is toxic. I have never seen such negativity in a single space. Air Peace is not just an Allen Onyeama business, it benefits thousands, if not tens of thousands of Nigerians directly and indirectly. Air Peace alone employs more than 50 Thousand Nigerians. In addition, hundreds of Nigerians get their daily bread indirectly from the services they render to Air Peace. The Nigerian government gains revenue from the tax that Air Peace pays. Above all, Air Peace has been able to reduce the price of tickets from Nigeria to the UK. WE NEED TO SUPPORT NOT ONLY AIR PEACE, BUT OTHER LOCAL CAREERS PLYING THE INTERNATIONAL ROUTE WITH ALL OUR MIGHT AND STRENGTH. If Air Peace fails, we are in big trouble. How this is not clear to an average Nigerians, especially the so called educated ones, is beyond me. By the way, I am not Igbo, so this is from a purely detached perspective |
komzy589:She is under no obligation to provide DNA. |
banks:1. If Mohbad did not have some money to be inherited, will he ask for DNA? 2. What is the purpose of the DNA? To explore the remote possibility that the child might not be Mohbad's so that he can step in to inherit Mohbad's property? It looks like he sees the poor boy as a rival and he wants to take him out. 3. I am speaking from the perspective of this child. If he could think, what would he think? My grandpa is wicked, he doesn't want to have anything do with me. Instead he wants to get rid of me. 4. If Mohbad did not doubt his own son's paternity, who is he to doubt it? 5. If he really wants DNA, why is he not paying for it. Why does he want Mohbad's wife to take financial responsibility for his own suspicions and doubts. |
As long as he pays for the DNA, no problem. Such a wicked "Grandfather." |
You have a wife at home and you're not only cheating on her, but cheating on her with a prostitute. You're not only cheating on her with a prostitute, but doing so without any form of protection. I'm not judging you o, but you are a callous and wicked man. You have no love for your family, your wife, nor your unborn child in her womb. Do you realize that if you give her an STD, it can kill your baby in her womb? |
I thought Very Dark Man said there was no Super Market in there. FOOL |
No conference is needed. The political heavy weights in the North are behind the insecurity, or at least, they don't want it to end. They use it as a political bargain chip, to promote Fulani hegemony via land grabbing, and fan the flame of religious intolerance, which perpetuates their power. If they want insecurity to stop, they know what to do. |
Couldn't find this image on EFCC's official twitter handle. Is this real or a work of mischievous graphic designers? |
Boko Haram and Bandits are threatening "Nigeria's sovereignty." They tax people and have conquered huge territories in the North. Go after them and let us rest abeg. |
SocialJustice:Alternatively, an underground pedestrian tunnel can be built (the road above it) to link Landmark and the Ocean. |
Meanwhile US is owing more than $30 Trillion in debt |
no greee |
I hope this is not true. Even though it ends up not happening, having thought about do it is insane. NIGERIA IS AN EVIL ENTITY. THIS EVIL IS BEYOND ANYTHING WORDS CAN DESCRIBE. IT IS DEMONIC. |
True Federalism is all we need. If "United States of Nigeria" will make us achieve true Federalism, then let's run with it. How can a Fulani man from Katsina determine the fate and destiny of an Ijaw man in Bayelsa? Also, we should do like Great Britain when it comes to Football, let the old Southern and Northern protectorates have their respective football teams to represent them at international tournament. I say this because the Northerners are now trying to bring quota system to our national team. They are trying infuse Northerners, by fire by force, into the national team-regardless of better and more talented people from other parts of the country. |
The governors are the biggest problems in Nigeria. Even with the anachronistic system we operate in Nigeria, if governors are good and efficient managers of state resources, Nigeria will be great. See what a few governors were able to do with little : Peter Obi (Anambra), Fasola and Ambode (Lagos), Umahi (Ebonyi), Prince Abubakar Audu ( Kogi), El-Rufai (Kaduna, though he is a terroist sympathizer), Duke (Cross-River), Akpabio ( Akwa Ibom, though he is a bad senate president), Otti ( Abia), etc. . . Again the problem is the Nigerian system that creates the fertile ground for criminals and incompetent stooges to be installed as governors. Imagine how the destiny of Abia state changed for good when one single public servant (that female professor) stood up for the right thing. We don't have enough good, upright public officials to stand up for the right thing and challenge the status quo. |
We no wan hear story later o. Make she come later the spoil naija name if (God forbid) relationship cast o . |
