You will never see people from certain part of the country near anywhere that is based on merits. They tried using quota system for football at this competition and they did not go beyond the group stage. But this group dominate our politics, dominate our armed forces, and benefit more from our natural resources. Leeches. It will never be well for our greedy and cowardly Southern politicians. |
It's Economics. You will have to start copying the notes in advance. We used to borrow from our seniors to copy in advance during long holidays. |
No who come day fear? maasoap: |
Everything was right until you induced the Hausa part. What does typical Hausa boy mean? You think sa na by gra gra? |
If you're becoming too tense, begin to press your phone to distract yourself and de-stress. |

The arrogance of the core North is mind-boggling. They have been enabled too much in this country so much so that they think the country belongs to them. If the South likes, let them keep playing Igbo vs Yoruba politics or SS vs SE politics, they'd be perpetually subservient to the North that has lumped their people together by fire, by force. The only way to stop this arrogance, is for the peoples of th old Southern Protectorate to work together under a new motto: "E PLURIBUS UNUM----OUT OF MANY, ONE." The southerners share more values in common ( value for human life, reward for hardwork, and the belief that with determination, one can climb the social lather). |
Like you said, the turf is horrible. But the Ghana v Egypt appeared better than our turf against Ivory Coast. Felix6: |
I agree with you , except for insinuating that Abuja is in the North. ABUJA IS IN THE MIDDLE BELT! ponishah: |
Southern and Middle Belt Elders proudly support this move. Power must be decentralized. Nonsense leeches and parasites. |
He is a Fulani man, he is part of the larger fulani agenda of violent domination and takeover of Nigeria. The Fulani agenda is long-term. It is a multi-pronged agenda that spans across every sector of the Nigerian society. They have their foot soldiers in every sector of society, working toward the same goal. They have their men in the political arena, security agencies, academia, religion, traditional leadership, and of course, the herdsmen-turned-bandits. They are all working hand-in-hand; it's a synergized operation. Any discussion on security that involves a fulani man is doomed to be leaked or sabotaged. They don't want peace and security, they want chaos and a hostile subjugation of the indigenous people of Nigeria. They want to actualize the dream of Uthman Dan Fodio. The Fulanis-- those in the bushes and those in Abuja offices-- are the greatest problem we have in Nigeria. They have captured the soul of our nation and have distorted our psyche and fundamentally ripped our greatest values---repsect for human life and merit-based achievement. |
Watch Ghanaians initiate this and then whining that we are not supporting their imitation. |
THE REASON IS SIMPLE: THE NIGERIAN STATE IS ANTI-NIGERIANS. THE STATE IS STRURTCURED TO DESTROY THE LIVES AND LIVELIHOOD OF NIGERIANS AND DEPRIVE THEM OF THEIR GOD-GIVEN DIGNITY. THE MAJORITY OF NIGERIANS THAT FLEE NIGERIAN ARE NOT POOR, THEY ARE MIDDLE CLASS AND CAN LEAD A GGOD LIFE ECONOMICALLY IN NIGERIA. THEY ARE FLEEING FROM THE EVIL THAT IS THE NIGERIAN STATE. A STATE THAT DELIGHTS IN OPPRESSING CITZIENS AND THROWING THEM INTO MISERY. A STATE THAT GIVES PROTECTION AND SUCCOR TO TERRORISTS. NIGERIANS ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE, BUT THE NIGERIAN STATE IS A GIGANTIC EVIL ENTITY. |
very beautiful. Please don't kill it. I wish I can keep it as a pet. |
The comments I read of people supporting the multiple anomalies inflicted on the Nigerian society by the institutions of the State of Nigeria lead me to conclude that there is no hope of salvation for Nigeria. Indeed, the leadership of a society is the reflection of the people of that society. These criminals and rogues in power, who have destroyed our country, are Nigerians after all, they were raised in this society, and were supported by Nigerians (thugs, police officers, data boys, Corpers, INEC, vote sellers, etc...) to rig and kill their way to power. |
If this is in southern Kaduna, I can bet you it was deliberate
What you don't realize is that whether muslims or christians, there our Hausa brothers and sisters. There are own kith and kin. Long before Islam or Christianity came to divide us, we saw each other as brothers and sisters. Our blood relationship predates these foreign religions, and it's a shame that a Hausa man, at the urging of the fulanis, will kill a fellow Hausa, because of religion. |
And yet, Nigerian cities, by sitting on top or beside water bodies ( Rivers Niger, Benue, Kaduna, Anambra etc.. ) have stopped pumping water direct from the river to homes. We used to have waterboards in almost every major city in Nigeria, but not anymore. |
fa fa fa foul... fa fa fa FAWUL!!! |
Kudos. Never too late to realize your dreams and desires. Good luck bro. |
20kg rice doesn’t come cheap, let-alone t’50kg bags that are generally sold for Naija.
20 Kg rice in the UK is not cheap either. I bet you it's more than 5 pounds, if not close to 10. |
Tohsynetita1:The point theY were trying to make is that the same amount won't be able to buy the same quantity of those items in Nigeria( In other words, food is more expensive in Nigeria). I made the point that those items are foreign food, so if they are more expensive in Nigeria, it is reasonable. If you took 10k to the market, you should be able to get a reasonable qauntity of our local food ( local rice, beans, egusi or beni seed, palm oil, grounded cassava, cray fish etc). |
In fairness, Wike said they would refurbish the old FCT Mass Transit Buses that were abandoned by past administration. Peharps that's what's happening. |
This is misleading. If she takes that same 10 Pounds to an African Store in the UK, she won't be able to buy too many items. The reason is simple: Foreign food is more expensive than native food. If you took that same 10 pounds ( which is more than 10k) to our local market to purchase our local food(not packaged supermarket o), you will purchase a lot of items as well. But if you took it to the Super Market to buy processed or packaged items, you won't be able to buy much. The reason is simple: Foreign food is more expensive than native food. Let's keep things in perspective. |

This Israel is acting like a baby. Her es-wife really dodged a bullet. Na only her fit talk know wetin her eye see. He is insecure. He is a narcissist. If he doesn't work on himself, the next woman he marries will end up leaving him in the same manner. |
Ignore these paid smear campaigns against the young lady. The Lady divorced Israel, because Israel was emotionally and physically abusive. Israel thought that because the girl was a young virgin, she will be naive. Israel was an insecure husband, who wanted total domination over his wife. He wanted his wife to be terrified of him. If your sister is in that type of toxic marriage, will you not advise her to leave? Would you prefer her dead or developing psychological issues in the marriage? |
It shows these guys don't think through polices before enacting them. This guy appears to be governing on a whim. |
Christian politicians are the most useless sets of people in Nigeria.. CAN used to be very active as the voice of Christians, but they ar quiet lately. Christians are in slumber, while the muslim minority are actively running this country as an Islamic country. They used to do it secretly, but now, they do it openly. They believe in optics and symbolism, hence their insistence on the Muslim-Mulsim ticket; hence their anger that an assertive Southern Christian is the FCT minister; hence their insistence that the islamic( arabic) writing on the currency not be removed when Emefiele was about to re-design the currency. IN THEIR EYES, NIGERIA IS AN ISLAMIC OUNTRY AND THEY PORTRAY THIS IMAGE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. Below are some of the EVIDENCE THAT NIGERIA IS BEING RUN AS AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY: 1. IBB enrolled Nigeria as a member state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Check this :https://www.oic-oci.org/states/?lan=en 2. Google "The Abuja Declaration of 1989." This communique was issued in 1989 as the aftermath of the OIC conference in Abuja. There, it was definitely sealed that Nigeria and her institutions are islamic. Check this: https://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/oborji/052422.html#google_vignette 3. Though Arabic is not our official language, there is an Arabic inscription on our money and the muslim elites will "go to war" to keep that Arabic inscription. They were all nervous when Emefiele wanted to re-design the Naira; bigoted and deposed Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi had to come out to assure the Muslim community that the Arabic inscription will remain in tact. 4. The Nigerian Army motto is written in Arabic and it means "Victory is from Allah alone." Interestingly, that was the motto of Fulani Jihadist, Uthman Dan Fodio. It was the battle cry of the Fulani jihadisst of the 19th century! Now connect the dots. The implication is clear. 5. In spite of section 10 of the "1999 constitution," the twelve core Northern states are actively running a Sharia system- they have effectively seceded from the entity called Nigeria. They have their courts, they have their morality police, and they go about violating the rights of Nigerians in their territories in the name of enforcing sharia law. 6. They vowed that a Christians will not have important political positions in the Middle Belt, hence their outrage at Wike's appointment. Hence their persecution of Christians in the Middle Belt. They are bent on creating and maintaining the optical illusion of a monolithic, islamic "North." There are many other real and anecdotal evidence, but these should lead any one who cares about a free, secular Nigerian state to worry. MY SUGGESTION: There is need for a strong caucus in the National Assembly across tribes, states, and possibly religion, that aggressively safeguards Nigeria as a FREE SECULAR STATE AND CHECKS ANY ACT OF GOVERNMENT THAT MIGHT SUGGEST THAT THERE IS AN OFFICIAL STATE RELIGION IN NIGERIA. IT NEEDS TO SAFEGUARD THE MULIT-ETHNIC, MULTI-RELIGOUS ENTITY CALLED NIGEIRA. But I won't hold my breath, our legislators, especially those from the South, are cowards, clueless, or selfish. |
I don't know how to quote a post on Nairaland, I don't sleep here. But let's face substantial matters. That you have taken to insults rather than rational discussion shows that you need help. With that being said, back to the substance. I agree with you that the North and South share radically opposed worldviews. I agree with you that Nigeria as is, is not sustainable. There needs to be either a renegotiation of the union or separation. However, what led to this thread is your playing of the victim card about how the Igbos are discriminated against in Nigeria. I took the opportunity to remind you that it is a bullshit propaganda by the Igbos. I reminded you that Igbos themselves are one of the most nativist and discriminatory tribes in Nigeria. I reminded you that even among the Igbos themselves, more than any other tribe, they discriminate against each other, down to their local government of origin. I reminded you of your hypocrisy and tired propaganda of crying victimization. I reminded you that Igboland is the least favorite destination for internal migration due to your nativist and discriminatory nature. Even your closest neighbors in the Niger-Delta and Deep South don't want to associate with you, because of your nativism and deep-seated tribalism. I, however, agree with you that the differences between us in the South can be surmounted by a change of mentality and re-education and mutual respect between the various tribes and ethnic groups. I agree with you that even in spite of our differences, we are closer to one another than the we are closer to the core North. |
