[quote author=LOVEALAIGBO post=126805210]Shameless hypocrite. You got called out on your hypocrisy and you go on attack like a rabid raccoon. Go and fix your discriminatory, nativist mindset in the East. Idiot. |
LOVEALAIGBO: |
The main reason otherwise welll-to do people japa is because our country is structured to dehumanize us. Nigeria is set up to INTENTIONALLY rub you of your God-given dignity. The Nigerian State is envious of you if you are doing well for yourself--it will come after you, frustrate you, and destroy your good work. I have never seen anything like that in my whole life. The foundation of the country is evil and the evil men in power like the status quo, because if it is rebuilt, they will lose their wealth and privilege. Majority of people Japa from Nigeria, not because they are not doing well economically, but because they want to maintain their God-given dignity. Nigeria is evil. I have tried severally to read the "constitution" , but have never been able to read beyond the first page, because of the lies in it---IT IS THE MOST EVIL DOCUMENT IN THE WORLD. Seeing "We the people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria" makes me want to throw up. Which people? It is a military document imposed on us by Northern military generals to favor Northern Oligarchs and their accomplices in the South. The Nigerian people are one of the most amazing, lively, creative, resilient, and hardworking people in the world . But the Nigerian State is the most EVIL STATE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. To assuage our pain, we call our country Naija...NAIJA is the country we wish we had, but NIGERIA IS THE COUNTRY WE ARE STUCK WITH. |
Is it what I am thinking? Cos he is Christian? OZIOGU1: |
This one has woken from his hibernation. He has been hibernating since Yeye Bello served him a cold breakfast during the Kogi APC primary. |
Gullible people will believe this posturing. Did he react when his son turned the presidential jet to a personal taxi? Did he react when more than 5 Billion Naira was budgeted for "Presidential Yacht" ? |
Do you think the Ebiras can win the Igalas in a free and fair contest? (Assuming election is strictly by tribe). garfield1: |
If people voted strictly by tribe, you think the Igalas will not win? The Igalas are more than half of the state. OZIOGU1: |
This is just the beginning for Yahaya Bello. Small boy and political neophyte, whom fate smiled on, wants to act like a Demi-god. He will be crushed when he leaves office; he will answer for his rascality. |
You people are sleeping and forming educated while the Fulani-led north is busy islamizing Nigeria. If you think it is conspiracy theory, then you are not paying close attention. All our armed forces (the rank and file) are dominated by Northern islamists. In the recent police recruiting exercise, the majority were northern muslims. These armed forces guys will be the instruments of the coercive power of the government. These guys have never given up on their grand plan to make Nigeria an islamic nation: They have secretly registered Nigeria as an islamic nation, arabic is on our currency, the motto of our army is in arabic (allegedly the battle cry of 19th century jihadist Uthman Dan Fodio), they have been killing Christians in the Middle Belt, sometimes clearing a whole community and are gradually moving down South, they have test run a a Muslim-Muslim ticket and have seen that woke Southern Christians don't mind--they will do more moving forward, they are pained that Wike, a Southern Christian, is the face of the FCT (THEY BELIEVE IN SYMBOLISM AND OPTICS), and they have vowed not to let a Christian be governor of some Middle Belt states (Nassarawa, Kogi, Niger, FCT, Kwara etc...). They are patient and are playing the long game, while Southern Christian politicians are busy feeding their stomachs. The Christian body has to wake up, else you will wake up one morning and find yourself in an islamic nation |
na so we suppose dey do our politicians. They deserve way worse than this |
Jobs depends on personal connections everywhere in the world, albeit in varying degrees. |
Christians in Nigeria must realize that the hatred of the Fulani-led Northern Nigerian Muslims for the rest of them is deep-seated. They refer to them derisively as "infidels." They feel that Nigeria is their birthright and for them Nigeria is an islamic state. They have secretly registered Nigeria among Islamic nations and hate any assertive Christian in a position of power. They see everything in Nigeria from the lens of religion and would do anything to perpetuate the false image that Nigeria is an islamic country. They lay so much emphasis on symbolism, that's why they fought tooth and nail to install a muslim-muslim ticket and that is why they hate to their guts that fact that an assertive southern Christian is the FCT minister. For them it is important for the symbolism that the FCT minister be a muslim. Their greatest desire is to fulfill the wish of Othman Dan Fodio an turn Nigeria into an islamic caliphate. They are ready for violence and if necessary, war in order to make their wishes come true. Nigerian Christians, especially the politicians, have the obligation and duty to pay attention to this obnoxious fantasy of their northern counterpart. Ignoring this reality is not only the height of irresponsibility, but also suicidal dereliction of duty. These guys have murderous fantasies against Christians. If you think this is a conspiracy theory, think twice. The Christians in the middle belt are already feeling it. Christians need to be more assertive. Christians are open minded and usually will not define their identity solely in terms of their faith. The Islamic north does not reason that way--they first of all define your identity in terms of your religion or faith. So, the Christians in Nigeria-regardless of tribe, need to come together and protect or freedoms and take a collective and meaningful stand against islamic fundamentalism in Nigeria, |
Go to New Zealand. The quality of life is better there. If you're married, you'd give your wife and kids the opportunity of growing up in a society that values human life and human flourishing. If you're not married, you'd get married and raise children in a sane society that values their lives and help them flourish. As for the Phd, you'd live in a society that gives you options. You can keep your job and do a part time Phd program or even a full time online program. In this way, you get to kill two birds with a stone. And if you love Nigeria so much, you can return after some years, by which time you would have saved up some money, developed yourself, and probably had citizenship or permanent residence ( which will give you a lot of flexibility and options going forward). If you asked me, I'd advise you to go to New Zealand brother. |
No country is an island, but compared to other African countries, Nigeria is one country, whose well-qaulified and wealthy diaspora population is a gold mine waiting to be unleashed. Our primary "foreign investors" are the Nigerian diaspora population. Do you know how many diasporas Nigerians are itching to invest in Nigeria? We should target them instead of Indians and Lebanese, Chinese, and those Oybios, who are coming here to make a killing. At the risk of sounding naive or isolationist, I dare say that Nigeria will be just fine if we created the right atmosphere (power, road, security, and ease of doing business) for Nigerians-both at home and those abroad. We are one of the few African countries where the ultra rich are indigenous. Nigeria is blessed with enormous human and capital resources. I don't think many people realize how tremendously blessed we are. plaetton: |
If you know anything about the US grading system, you won't disgrace yourself in this manner. 88 Percent in the US is a B+, Which is at best a mid 2:1 . A- 90-94 is a solid 2:1. Paentera: |
Later these idiots will turn around and call Nigeria a zoo. Animalistic people. |
Are you playing? 3.52 is a weak 2:1 at best. Raskimonojendor: |

I don't like Reno's ways, but let us call a spade a spade. There is a million evidence (including this job add) to show that Igbos are the most discriminatory and racist tribe in Nigeria. Igbos are welcomed in other parts of the country; some are even given political appointments in many parts of the country, but you will never see a non-igbo been given a political appointment in Igbo land. In fact, Igbos from other igbo states are discriminated against in igbo states that is not theirs. This racism is even in the Church. I am a good catholic and have a fair idea of the catholic church in Nigeria, I have seen Igbo Reverend Fathers ordained in many parts of Nigeria(including in far away North), but I have NEVER seen a non-igbo priest ordained for an Igbo diocese. The Igbos will NOT accept Seminarians who are not Igbos, but Igbo seminarians are accepted and ordained in other parts of Nigeria. Igbos need to look themselves in the mirror. Israel07: |
I hate Reno Omokri's ways, but he has hit the nail on this. The igbos are the most racist and discriminatory people in Nigeria. They even discriminate against fellow Igbos who are not from their environment. They are welcomed in other people's land, but ar every unwelcoming to non-igbos. They are quick to allege victimization, but they are most hostile and unfriendly to non-igbos. It is no surprise that Igboland is the least location that Nigerians of other tribes relocate to. |
One thing I like about all Nigerian presidents is that they always wear our traditional attires. It's a good tradition that I hope future presidents will faithfully keep. |
Ever heard of Mutually Assured Destruction? No one wins a Nuclear War. WriterNig: |
Europe is the most racist and hypocritical continent on earth. If not for Trump that briefly flirted with this idea of raiding immigrant's homes, in the US, nobody bothers you. Nobody will randomly stop you to search for your documents. |
If your first name is not a traditional namel and you want a traditional surname for your children, you can use your middle name ( which i believe will be a traditional name) as their surname. By "traditional" i mean Nigerian native name. Good Luck bro. |
Indeed the Northerners give birth to a lot of children. However, I can bet one million dollars in support of my theory that the Nigerian population of 200M is inflated. We are at most between 130 to 150 Million. I suspect you're familiar with the politics of population census in Nigeria. About resources. The most critical resources a nation has is human resources. If we had a government, it would have been investing massively in education and human capital development. That will be our most valuable resources. Nigerians are industrious and hardworking. We are among the few African countries that was not socialized to look up to the government for handouts. If the government created an enabling environment (stable electricity, road infrastructure, security, and the enthronement of rule of law), Nigeria will be the envy of the world. Nigerians will take off. Just imagine the wonders private citizens are already achieving in this hostile environment and imagine how much more we as a people will achieve if the environment were people-friendly. And it is not difficult to fix these things. For instance, Tinubu has 'borrowed' 500 Billion and they are about to share it among themselves. Just imagine how much it will accomplish if Tinubu dedicated that money to one key infrastructural development area (maybe build a major road or even dedicate it to fixing the power problem once and for all). You see? our problem is poor leadership, not poverty of resources. If all the state governors and government officials in the country decide to reduce their embezzlement by half and dedicate the remaining resources (after they have chopped just little o) to work for us, we will be as developed as the real developing nations of Eastern Europe. What we have in Nigeria is: Government officials will chop like 95 percent of the resources allocated to the common good and then 'dedicate' the remaining 5 percent to public service and then demand that we sing their praises and be grateful for giving us 5 percent. On natural resources, Nigeria is abundantly blessed. We have everything in this country in commercial quantities:Fertile Agricultural land, Natural gas, crude oil, coal, Gold, Bitumen, Iron Ore, there are many undiscovered minerals in the middle belt region of the country. We have everything. Unfortunately, we are not united as a people; we still deeply divided along religious and ethnic lines. Sorry for my ranting. EKONGKING: |
I absolutely disagree with you that Nigeria is a poor country. We are not poor by the most fundamental standards: Human Resources and Natural Resources. However, I will agree with you that WE ARE A POORLY MANAGED COUNTRY. Even with the decades of waste and stealing, NIGERIA WILL BE A FORCE TO RECKON WITH, WHEN THE LEADERSHIP IMPROVES TO JUST AVERAGE. We need a leadership class that has the good of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart. We've been cursed not only with poor leaders, but wicked leaders, who absolutely do not care about the entity called "Nigeria." Let's not kid ourselves, Nigeria is not a poor country. No matter the mess in our country, serious countries cannot just toss Nigeria away. THE POTENTIALS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE HUUUUUUGE. We need to demand better leadership that is accountable to WE THE PEOPLE. EKONGKING: |
we need an urgent name check ASAP. Publish the names of those "Nigerians" let's see if the list has Federal Character. |
A GHANAiAN CITIZEN IS INVOLVED IN SMUGGLING ARMS INTO NIGERIA, but we will never stigmatize Ghanaians as a result. Here is a citizen of GHANA FUELING INSTABILITY IN NIGERIA AND KILLINGS IN NIGERIA, let the reverse be the case and see how Ghanaians will start their hateful, xenophobic nonsense against all Nigerians. |
These people are always constituting nuisance everywhere they go. They have given us bad name all over Africa with their obnoxious ways. |
I'd be straight to the point: I gained admission to study Medicine in Kenya and Masters in UK (biology). My ultimate goal is to settle in a Western Country (UK,US.CANADA, GERMANY AUSTRALIA etc). I'm in a dilemma: UK presents me an opportunity to japa and relieve the financial pressure on my parents (paying my own tuition through work-study), but Kenya offers me an opportunity to study a good course(while being dependent on my parents for at least another six years-no student job opportunities in Kenya). Dad and Mom are fine with whatever decision i make. Any insight guys? |
