Foreign Affairs › Re: Africans Immigrants Dont Have The Most Degrees In America by dafman(m): 2:18am On Jun 06, 2008 |
girl22 did you study math in school at?
Don't you know what the meaning of percentage is? When you say 43% of 2 million Africans have degrees it means out of every 2 million Africans, 860,000 have degrees meaning if 10 million african immigrants arrive next year there would be 4.3 million of those with degrees.
On the other 18% of 2 million black americans will be 360,000. So in relation to a relative size of the other ethnic groups africans have the highest degrees. |

Romance › Re: Help With Nigerian Husband And Misunderstandings: by dafman(m): 5:12pm On Jan 02, 2008 |
Busta: @ majik1 My dear, welcome to Nairaland. . . lots of empty headed and immature brats here.
take the advices that u feel will work for u and discard of the others but be careful which ones u hid to.
I don't know why some people wants to make it their headaches because your husband is not attracted to nigerian girls. You don't owe no one no apology. Is it by force a nigerian man should marry a nigerian girl? fact is alot of nigerian guys these days ain't attracted to nigerian girl. In as much as I don't like or agree with the way your husband is treating u, especially when it comes to the issue of Food.
since she mentioned that her husband ain't attracted to nigerian girls, I noticed that the topic kind of changed. Hun, please be careful if not some people will just end your marriage.
ALL THE BEST!! Busta and Davidylan are making a lot of sense here. Someone brings a problem asking for solutions and people are busy criticizing the lady's husband for not liking Nigerians and even insinuating all sorts of things that the poster never thought of. One thing you should have in mind is, insulting the lady's husband is an indirect insult on her, she's still married to him and loves him. |

Family › Re: Divorce On The Rise In Nigeria: Why? by dafman(m): 8:13pm On Nov 27, 2007 |
Gamine: Divorce is on the rise
because the more we imbibe western culture
they pass on every rubbish to us.
If u don't like someone why shld u marry the person
if u feel u can take care of yourself and be all alone
why marry
is it by force!!
please people ooh, be reasonable! That's a smart one. When people talk about independence and all that it pisses me off, for christs sake, stay single if you don't want any stress. The last time I checked there is no law against being single anywhere in the world. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Ridiculed By Scotland by dafman(m): 7:23pm On Nov 12, 2007 |
It sure hurts when foreigners say these things about Nigeria. We have people in government who pursue external glorifcation with zest more than attending to the crucial issues of nation building and alleviating the suffering of the masses. They can spend millions campaigning for the rights to host the games and even billions to host the actual games just to prove that Nigeria has arrived, but when it comes to basic things like "Lagos-Ibadan express road", electricity, water etc, they will set a 20 year plan. |
