Gbawe: The disgraceful conduct of Allison-Madueke, that GEJ cannot be unaware of, is laid bare below in the award-winning expose GEJ has never even bothered to acknowledge let alone be interested in investigating. What is written below contains specific names and allegation.

Ethnic jingoists should give us a break. It is an open and shut case. I make bold to say the woman is one of the major culprits , if not the biggest, in the subsidy scam. She has used her position to raise funds massively for GEJ to the detriment of Nigeria. This is why she remains untouchable while silly bigots keep stupidly postulating that some ethic groups are after her because she is 'blocking' their 'food'. Nothing of the sort. The woman is simply a very corrupt and shameless looter who has never actually excelled in any Government position.

http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/news/top-stories/101858-diezani-allison-madueke-former-oil-minister-her-jeweller-and-their-sweetheart-deal.html
i
after reading your article, i now understood where u and the other mugus are coming from....b4 maduake, oil blocks and oil lifting were shared btw our yoruba and hausa overlords, now apearantly she has upset the pathern and started with others.......yoruba and hausa companies started out as briefcase, and they used their positions to entrench themselves, name any top yoruba or hausa politician that does not own oil blocks or lifting licences? Now Alison is sharing to her people and it has become a top crime that must be stoped at all cost.......well lets assume that she is actually corrupt and she is removed, probably jailed what next, what stops the next person from doing exactly the same thing? Ibori is jailed now, the governors have stopped steealing money abi?
It is the ultimate evil to pretend to be fighting for justise, getting the support of docile mugus, while the original aim is to replace one person with another while maintaining the same system......
This were the same set of people that told us that a tribal party ACN was a better alternative to pdp?? Wanting to replace a currupt party with one that is tribal and currupt...
Yes alison may have allocated oil lifting licences to the jeweller, but y would a system even allow for that responsibility to a minister? Why should nigeria actually be exporting raw crude in the first place? the easiest thing to do is to sit down and hurl insults, but my apeal go to those outside Lagos and SW, continue to stand your ground, we refused to follow the last sham jamboree in Lagos last time, and we should not be decieved again

Olaolufred: I really do not think Delta has any problem.
Is it not the same Delta that Idolizes Ibori?
Is it not the same delta that says" He is our son Let him do it".
If Delta really know they have problem, let them show it by action.
However, those who showed it yesterday by violence are already eating the cake of Amnesty.
I heard Tompolo is now a big time contractor for SS states. Violence pays.
That is the major message there.
But for your assertions, Deltans can fight for their own alone.
Calling Soyinka a tout is an aberation.
You know that your generations up till now is not close to the first letter of his name. You know.
Delta state Idolizes Iborihuh? where did you hear that onehuh? I live in warri, the heart land of delta, and there was never any sign or support for Ibori, probably his hometown of Oghara, where there were protest after his arrest..please don't say that again, the petitions that got Ibori running were written by several delta people..

Yes, violence after 30 years of several peaceful over-tunes to the powers that be..they refused to listen to the voice of reason, Violence pay when oppressors refuse peaceful measures..

So you expect Tompolo to be cast aside after putting his life on the line to bring the NDelta situation to international attention? you must be sick, Tompolo is from Gbamaturu in Egbema kingdom and if Danjuma can suddenly wake up with $500m or so in his account on account of ND oil, I don't see why Tompolo shouldn't.

Deltans have been fighting alone, but whenever the SW is affected they insist it is a national crises, When Nigerdelta militants took up arms against the FG, did the SW join? so why must Nigerdelta now join SW and Lagos in the fight for free fuel, especially when this cheap free fuel can only be gotten by depriving some nigerdeltan of his resource...it that not adding salt to injury and call us f00ls?

I did not call Soyinka a tout, I have much respect for the Guy, he has been consistent in his vision and determination since the 60s, though I differ with him in this present call.

We in delta are already to fight for a system that reduces corruption to a manageable level, that will include resolving the main injustices and lack accountabilities existing now
PoliticsRe: Prepare For Mass Protest Over Subsidy Scam, Soyinka Tells Nigerians-nan by DaLover(m): 12:17pm On May 02, 2012
Olaolufred: Please, learn to talk with facts:
Read this report and think on it Ogosoga.

HOW DID WE SPEND THREE (3) TRILLION NAIRA IN ONE YEAR?
The report showed that the budget expenditure on subsidy for both PMS and HHK in 2006 was N261. 1b, N278.8b in 2007 and N346.7b in 2008 and N245 b for 2011.
The tables below show subsidy payments in the five years preceding 2011:

PPPRA Report To NASS-October 2011.
2006-261.1billion Naira
2007-278.9 billion Naira
2008-630.6 billion Naira
2009-421.6 billion Naira
2010-673.0 billion Naira

KPMG's Final Audit Report- May 2011.
2007-272 billion Naira
2008-688 billion Naira
2009-384 billion Naira

Obasanjo is corrupt, I never voted for him. I had mistakenly voted Jonathan.I accept responsibility for my mistake.
But despite that I do not like OBJ nor voted him, Fact said He left subsidy at 272 billion Naira.
2008 result shows some politicians had been compesated for their expenses towards 2007 election.
2009 came down to normal.
2010 shows some money is being released in preparation for 2011 election.
2011, They said we spent 1.3 trillion. But in reality, probe says it was 3 trillion Naira.
How has OBJ covered it. It happened directly under the suppervision of Jonathan. Yaradua is already dead in February 2010. 2010 records 673 billion.
Please, read read read. don't just talk senselessly.
So, I can not praise him for the wrong he started.
Could there be any relationship between the continuous fuel scarcity outside Lagos and most of southwest during the OBj era and value of subsidy at that time.
PoliticsRe: Prepare For Mass Protest Over Subsidy Scam, Soyinka Tells Nigerians-nan by DaLover(m): 11:46am On May 02, 2012
Olaolufred: Good that you are not ready to fight for cheaper fuel,
But will it not be good for you to ask for accountability?
Don't you think that Resource control will only be possible if each of the 159.9 million Nigerian been cheated by this system stand up to say Enough is enough?
They have always won by dividing us. That you share this opinion is their gain.
One day we will all be fed up(including you). and there will be complete and violent overhaul.
Blood will be let en-mass.
But I wish it would not be so.
Olaoolufred, I like cheaper fuel, cheaper or free education, cheaper or free fertilizer, cheaper or free phone services, cheaper or free transport services, cheaper or free power services, guaranteed life long pension, cheaper or free health care....and all the other free things that our socialist thinking federal governments have promised to deliver because "NIGERIANS ARE POOR AND CANNOT AFFORD IT".. but see the problem over the years has created a gross amount of laziness and corruption in equal manners in all spheres of Nigerian life...

Take a look at a line I pulled out from boko al harems post below
alj harem: "Petrol is God's gift to Nigeria. Why can't Obasanjo allow us to enjoy it?" asked a 24-year-old demonstrator.
.

Presently Nigerians are ready to tolerate corruption everywhere except where it touches their own perceived share of the national cake, this kindly of prevailing attitude is very disturbing....

Olaoolufred we have been presenting people in positions with so many opportunities for looting by adopting this strategy of living, it is lazy and killing us...Till date nobody has be able to justify to me why he feels he deserves to pay less than actual market price for fuel...

Well if touts in Lagos feel that are proceeding on street protest because of fuel price hike, I can understand this, In delta state our problems are quite different, we have been protesting by various means for the following
1-Resource control....not derivation
2-Leaner government ...achieved by removing governments hands from the various PIEs it is in.

Scandals are not new today, Halliburton, Nepa, Police equipment fund, pension fund, power projects etc....people have been arrested and whatever has happened...so why should I waste time going through that same cycle...all because some people insist that they must be lazy?

Dis Guy: it's just one of the out fall of being a weak leader, GEJ is not allowing various organs free hand he just doesn't know how to actually direct all the initiative, i mean this is a pdp lead govt, where are the result of the probes? cabal this cabal that..... probes didnt start with him, obj actually had people fired, suspended thats result, that's a deterrent to many coming after them, straight from the top,

what do we get with this one? You sometimes get the feeling of 'abeg make them shout, that's what they are good at,this is democracy' as long as files reach AGF cupboard and him throway keys for him London pad.

Where is the PIB in a house thats solidly pdp, how many nnpc are we going to have? how many speech as he actually made against corruption, what steps has he actually taken to reduce govt wastage? this guy doesn't want to ruffle feathers in the slightest, he is not even trying to step on toes.
well good luck in your endeavours
PoliticsRe: Prepare For Mass Protest Over Subsidy Scam, Soyinka Tells Nigerians-nan by DaLover(m): 1:10am On May 02, 2012
deandavid: look mr beaf, the yorubas you are critising are the main advocates of true fedralism. Are you trying to say, we cant have people who can work deligently and upright without stealing? Even now with this crop of people in power, if federal govt give ss, 50% derivatives, we are not sure, the money will spent well. How do you see some paying the same money over 100 times? Kill the theives, Put new leaders, if they steal again, kill them and put another set, if the new ones cant be straight forward, kill them also. Beaf repent, God is watching.
Beaf and I share the same views on politics, that doesn't mean I am beaf...so stop calling me beaf...
common sense will tell you that even when you expect people to be upright, you don't tempt them by creating an unrealistic and artifical distortion in market prices...of course they will always be corruption, it exist everywhere...

Look at pension fund issue....y the hell is the govt managing pension funds? that what comes to my mind not Mr a or Mr b did this or that...because we are moving in endless circles...

If the Yoruba are fighting true federalism as you claim , then lets see them organize a protest for it, then I will join...not say that and then organize a protest on how to continue the sharing of the national cake at a cheap rate...do you think they will ever allow the federal government to take over their cocoa farms and then promise all Nigerians a small fixed price for cocoa products no matter the market price? and then the federal government will then pay the owners of the arable land what ever it likes...
once again be wise
PoliticsRe: Prepare For Mass Protest Over Subsidy Scam, Soyinka Tells Nigerians-nan by DaLover(m): 12:57am On May 02, 2012
deandavid: and who says the fuel subsidy removal is a wrong move? But imagine a situation where billions are being stolen every other day in the name of subsidy, even if we have to remove the subsidy, so you suggest those indicting in the probe be left to go free? Is it not the responsibilities of the govt to provide basic amenities for the people? Those probes you talking about were carried out in times when nigerians were still blinded. You just take a bike and ask the okada man what he thinks about Nigeria and the propose protest. Then You ll knw the thought of the ordinary nigerian. Moreover you are sounding like beaf, hope u no be beaf, with another username.
Y would someone disguise his name if he is going to say the same thing? I can understand the Okada man not seeing the bigger picture, but I honestly expect someone with access to the internet to see this..(although most NLers are to put it mildly, very daft), if you understand the depth of my last post you will see that what I am asking for is a radical approach to the way we have decided to run our lives... now tell me the difference between the fraud in the oil subsidy and the drugs subsidy by delta state? where does one start from? Is it about fighting Maduake and GEJ or correcting the system...Tell me you want to protest for resource control, states paying taxes to FG, government sticking to its core responsibilities and I am with you...but if you tell me you want to go and fight for cheaper fuel or fight someone that dared to tell us the truth, sorry..

PoliticsRe: T.A Orji And The Igbo Dilemma by DaLover(m): 12:36am On May 02, 2012
@ OP, look, Yoruba people and Igbos can never have the same style of doing things, while the Yoruba are more inclined to gravitate towards people or someone identified in a position of authority, Igbos don't do that...and they never will, Look at history, Awo had more hold on the Yorubas Than Zik had on the Igbos...
Yoruba's then to be more clannish and Igloos are individualistic and republican, independent minded and tend to pursue their goals without bounds...

Now I can understand how you would persieve this behavior by the Igbos to be a bad thing, but I tend to see it as something Nigeria needs to become an emerging economic giant.

Surely the Yoruba kind of behaviors suits the present Nigerian environment, but asking the Igbos to behave in that same nature is like admiting Nigeria will never grow... so guy just leave that matter first..

deandavid: my fellow deltan as u claim, so you suggest we remain like this and watch as your fathers and mothers are robbing us, i suspect if you are a deltan, you are one of those pdp loyalist and uduaghan's boy that have sold your generations to money. I pity you. I know from your argument, ynu will suggest ibori,be freed. Tufiakwa 4 u, u no b my brother, if all the ss people feels, standing against a corrupt govt is a yoruba thing, i will rather stand will the yoruba than to stay oppressed. But i know what am talking about, deltans are angry, jst wait make the protest start first.
You see where you keep talking about individuals, I am referring to the system, a system that tells you that your resource in your backyard should be shared willy nilly across the nation and what ever pittance they desire is given to you...

A system was created where the FG told people they would always get subsidized fuel...simple remove that system and the corruption in that sector vanishes, why insisting on replacing one individual with one another only to come up with the same story?

A system exist where state governors do not have to think hard about how to raise money, they go cap in hand to the FG and get money which they spend as they like, why insisting on replacing one individual with one another only to come up with the same story?

Same story for health, education, agric etc, the governments participation in the running of of businesses has been known to cause and artificial distortion which leads to extensive corruption.

Go to any govt hospital in warri and try to get state govt subsidies drugs, they will tell you to come in 4 months time, meanwhile it is being sold at near market price across the street.

Look, wise up don't F00Lish like I said before, since 1999 when we started this democracy, there has been one probe after another, all because we are waiting for the free and cheap things the FG said they would deliver to us..
And I say isn't it time we say the truth to ourselves, FG and all governments concentrate on policy creation and regulation, let people do things for themselves...don't join those who insisting on sharing the national cake willy nilly be wise

If we are ready to protest the system that means that the FG has to execute even the simplest of activities like distribution of fuel, then we Deltans will follow, the system does not encourage productivity simple and short, anyhow, if yo still insist, i hope it doesn't stop here, go out there, soldiers of northern origin have been waiting for this opportunity...

As it stands now...there is no going back on resource control, its either it is legalised or the people take the oil which was theirs in the first place. It is actually the FG and the multinationals who are stealing and not the other way round.
