Please what’s the expiry date on the counterfoil? Does it align with your passport expiry date or your program ending date? Lekiboboe: I just got COUNTERFOIL
Current Status : APPROVED
I didn't get a Donotreply mail from IRCC
Try PUFFIN BROWSER if u are having challenges with other BROWSERS
With this development on our GC key profile, what are we to expect next?
Thanks |

I know it’s your call but I think you are rushing the process. I would’ve done my exams home in Nigeria and then travel late December or early January to commence a new semester/term (Winter). Considering the distance, flight time and possible jet lag and nauseous feeling after a long flight, it may be unsettling to do an exam immediately. Fingers crossed, all will end well. rebecausoro: My exam starts next week after three months of online learning. I booked a flight for Saturday already. I've paid for quarantine plans sef. I've made concrete plans that would go to waste if I don't travel this week. VFS is just making me stressed. |

I said it earlier that it seems some of those that submitted passports to Lagos VFS (received by the legendary Mr Festus) between November 3-5th had delayed processing. I submitted my daughter’s passport on November 4 (received on 5th) and didn’t get a tracking ID until November 17th (20201117.....) and that was after repeated calls and mails. Last notification I got was on November 20 that passport was in transit to Abuja IRCC (sounded strange at the time; since I sent to Lagos VFS). No new update. Another strange thing is that the tracking ID still brings a “No Records Found” message when tracked online. When I complained last Friday, the CS guy said it’s Under processing at IRCC. Patience is really a virtue o Kimkalash: Submitted since 3rd o. No fourth email. These people are fuckers! |

Honestly, no one can say authoritatively where the TRV is affixed (either Abuja, Lagos or Nairobi). But from recent timelines, your waiting period is a minimum of 2-4 weeks from the date on the tracking ID. You may be lucky to get it in two weeks. In any case, once you get your counterfoil notice in your GC key account, then your joy has come. All the best. Eilenora: Hello All,
Please what does this tracking update mean: Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 2020/11/24. I submitted last week Friday, it got to vfs Abuja just on Monday 23rd. Do they send the passports to Nairobi or is the visa affixed here in Nigeria? |

Since your classes are online...it shouldn’t be an issue at POE. Recall that students currently traveling started their programs in August/September and they are just entering Canada now... Insanity: Please, anyone going to University of Windsor for Winter 2021? Let's plan the journey together and also discuss the quarantine plan from the university. Please, message me.
Please house, my lectures will resume January 7 2021, but I want to spend holidays with my family here this december before travelling around January 10 or so. Will this be a problem at POE for me? |

They should’ve told her what to do...but in any case, she’s to make a payment of N12,570 and fill a consent form which will be sent back to them...along with evidence of payment of the amount above. She’ll include her tracking ID in the email... nayo10: Good day guys, can someone please explain what to do when the passport is ready for collection. VFS Lagos is highly disorganized, a friend of mine got letter of introduction from IRCC since last week and she didn't hear from them again until she kept sending email to them. They just sent that they are sorry that the passport is with them now without details of how to receive it o. Kindly assist on it |

Maybe this vibrant group of students on this thread can reactivate that thread or create a new one Naijaforeigner: Yes, there is actually a thread for students living in Canada. Although, that thread has been inactive or very quiet for a while. You will need to search this travel section to find it.
I also agree with you that living in Canada seems best suited for people who already have their PR’s and moved to Canada.
It will be so nice to hear from past and current students in Canada where they are at the moment, how the journey has been so far and what has the whole experience been for them.
I wish that thread can become very active. |

If you have your biometric slip, you don’t have to pay (that is if you had your biometric at same location). Otherwise, you have to pay and include the evidence in the package Akby: Good morning everyone
I just want to find out if I need to pay the N7,430 (Package transmission fee) before submitting my documents to DHL at Isolo or I will pay after the document has been received by VFS
Thank you |

Wrong room Sotonwaostrong: Good evening everyone. Please I need the assistance of the Guru’s in the house. I got PPR today. The feeling is surreal ... however , I didn’t get an attachment. Just the details saying profile approved with the ppr mail. Also, my CIC profile is still showing processing and eligibility and background check still showing processing.. Also, I didn’t get the COPR message in my profile. I only got the email from Accra immigration. Did anyone experience this ? Or should I be worried ? |

Congrats, once again Mokenn. May your sojourn be fruitful and fulfilling. A quick question, what is the expiry date of your visa? Was it tied to your passport expiry date or tied to your program completion date? Thanks. MOKENN: The Eagle has landed my people.
DHL has delivered my passport.

Lol...scents and fragnance of conceit. On this street, people collaborate for the good of oneself and others. Go away with your pride, my guy Ysakaws1: I just finished writing my letter of explanation, and I feel it is very good and convincing. I can’t be too sure, so if you are an expert in writing LOE and wants to volunteer to review it real quick before I submit this week, please quote.
P.S - I’m not looking for someone who is also applying for study permit and wants to do some copies. Please stay off if that’s your case cause I don’t want any plagiarism issue. |
