Hello guys I just got my Decision mail. The Tension just increased.

I meant there’s a discount of 10% on the 12,570 which comes to about 11,310 payment request.

5% for what? If there is a 5% charge on the courier amount (N11,310), there is already more than 11% extra on the amount I paid relative to the amount being requested. Hence, they owe me and not the other way round. BTW, they are scammers because we are being charged up to 600% of the real value of courier service. I would have paid N1,600 to get it back through DHL if I did 2-ways courier option from start. Bunch of thieves!

I got the same email just a few minutes after sending a DM to their twitter handle @vfsglobalcare. Mind you, I already made payments proactively since last weekend and sent my transaction receipt plus courier form since Monday. I simply replied their email with the same details. NB: I paid N12,570 instead of N11,310. Let's wait and see how this episode evolves.

I didn't get the DECISION ENVELOPE mail from VFS Lagos, though I tracked it via the VFS website and I got this result

Visa application, tracking ID No. is being processed at the Canada Visa Office.


Does the above mail in anyway signify that MY PASSPORT IS READY FOR PICK-UP?

After reading your post, I went to check my junk box; lo and behold, the same mail dropped at 11.14am. Since I’d paid since last week Friday, I called to notify them.

The lady that picked said it’ll go with tomorrow’s batch to be picked up by UPS...

After many calls, a request to do a physical check on my passport at VFS and sending multiple e-mails, feedback just sent me a mail titled PASSPORT COURIER PAYMENT PROCESS. Na Ogun go kill these people!!!!

Since Air France is just restarting its operations, no one can speak authoritatively on what their conditions are or will be. You can call their customer service number...but I can say no Covid19 test is required...

I am talking about pdf file for online application. I know signing and affixing notary stamp may be simple with a paper application but how can a stamp be affix on a PDF form? Does it mean one will have to print it out for stamping and then scan it for the online application?

The declaration form is quite explicit. A lawyer knows or will know where to sign...you can take it to a court, the guys there will assist you.

Yeah, it was nice I thank God. The POE is no problem if you posses your ArriveCan receipt, letter of introduction, a form will also be given to you on the plane make sure is duly and honestly filled cause they won't attend to you if you don't fill it before approaching them and don't forget to include payment receipt or print out of the tuition fee you paid because they might require it in POE. Be ready also to answer some questions depending on the officer that attend to you. My own wan resemble interview

Stop all this, no dey water down important information like this. I dey very serious. It won't cost you anything to get it from your school and take it with. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. No dey discourage people for something wey u no know anything of.

Wow...a big risk you’ve taken. Abuja processing has averaged 3-4weeks while Lagos has been 4-6 weeks. 18th is circa 2 weeks away.

Fingers crossed. You should get the first email by Monday to confirm it’s arrived at VFS.

I submitted my passport on Thursday and it got delivered on Friday close of business but I didn’t get any email from the vfs (I am hoping that by Monday I would get a mail as regards that)
please I would like to have an idea of the timeframe for people that used Abuja vfs, cos I booked my ticket for 18th and I am hoping I will get my passport before that time.

It’s a wrap for me! Just got my passport back too. Got PPR 20/11, so exactly two weeks for me too. I also stay in Abuja and used two way courier UPS.

This confirms Abuja is better to send passport to and two way courier is honoured. I paid 3,400.
