CsRockefeller: I'm looking at the years they produced the Avengers franchise and they are all produced within short periods of the other.
Infinity War was produced in 2018 then there came Endgame in 2019. Winter Soldier in 2014 then came Civil War in 2016.
Do theses guys even get to rest? Consider how much training they undertake in these movies. acting is a stressful job bro. |

cao: It was honestly insane. First and foremost, it's a Harley Quinn film. There could have done better with character development. Some characters needed more screen time, some less. Can't fault the acting, but gorramit some characters needed more screen time. They really need to learn how to handle films with an ensemble cast at WB/DC. Enjoyed the fight scenes - the police station raid is definitely the highlight. On entertainment value alone, a solid 7. ha, a woman of culture. a fellow FIREFLY fan. |

Nickshrapnel: The ass ain’t big imo, they are so used to seeing flat ass that when they saw a moderate one, they lost their collective minds BetWinners never said her ass was big. he said she had a well shaped ass....and I wholeheartedly concur. if i was there i would have looked too. the leggings she wore accentuated them curves very well, making her shapely ass a feast for the eyes. |

abduleez1: Nope it's not. Its not having it good at the box office. FANTASY ISLAND was a feature film of 7 million USD. it was projected to gross at least a minimum of 13 million & maximum of 20 million in 4 days... it grossed 14 million in 4th day of release, exceeding the minimum projection... today is the 5th day of release, and guess what, it has grossed 21.6 million USD. numbers don't lie. it's already making profit and exceeding expectations. |

I missed Sonic, yea so what, which one can you call again? no you didn't lol. despite critics butchering it in reviews, it's exceeding expectations in the box office. so it's not a flop. |

abduleez1: My 2020 Top 10 Fated/potential Blockbuster Movie FLOPS ................................what's yours?? [s]Sonic: The Hedgehog..... (Paramount) Just seems Fated to flop, even moreso after it's extra expenses in redesign of Sonic after fans backlash on an estimated $90mn production budget.[/s]
Bloodshot....... (Sony) This looks like an outright FLOP from the Valiant Comics adaptation. Nothing spectacular to draw general public in. Not even Vin Diesel can save it.
The New Mutants ......(Fox/Disney) This one is a Bloody FLOP with it's numerous change in release dates (4 times)— something we could have seen since 2018! Disney seems Fated to continue losing on this Fox buyout for a while.
Artemis Fowl ....... (Disney) Looking like a potential FLOP.
[s]Fantasy Island ........ (Sony) Potential FLOP.[/s]
Ghostbusters: Afterlife ...... (Paramount) Outright FLOP in the making!
Monster Hunter ....... (Sony Screen Gems) Gonna FLOP. Game adaptations for live action movie have a history of not doing too well at the box office. Even the Director of this movie have a not so glamorous game adaptation history. Although things might be different for Sony's December "Uncharted" movie starring Tom Holland.
Coming To America 2 ......... (Paramount) Possesses some potential FLOP vibes, coming after 32 years for a sequel! And Eddie Murphy's lost his box office mojo/clout.
GI Joe: Ever Vigilant .......(Paramount) Possesses outright FLOP vibes.
Dune .......... (Warner Bros.) Potential FLOP especially since the first live action adaptation was a Flop. I'm hard pressed to include this in my LIST. I honestly don't see it as an outright flop but maybe a lesser disappointment cause of it's Killer CAST. That CAST alone is "Butt in Seats" guaranteed, also Denis Villeneuve has some critical pedigree. Even the release date pushed to December holidays makes it a likely HIT, with slight competition in a season with no Star Wars or clear Box office Juggernaut except The Croods 2.
PS: I just feel this is the most likely WB blockbuster movie to be a FLOP— even a better candidate Flop than Kong vs Godzilla. I just included it to make it more Transparent, objective and seemingly Unbiased.
** Seems Universal escaped...hmmm. it's looking like a super duper YEAR for Universal. IMHO. OOH I FORGOT DOLITTLE, it's out already and a FLOP TOO. 2 failed predictions, 8 to go. |

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG has already gloss 111 million USD on it's 4th day.
that's 16 million more than the 95 million USD it spent on production.
it's looking like it's gonna be very successful on the box market. |

abduleez1: I didn't watch it for the Historical Accuracy stuff and all that but for the action and battle sequences. I cared little for story cos I already knew some of it.
Most of this based on a true story adds Sh!t with facts most times so I just focus more on the film narrative individually than what truly happened. If It's an interesting topic I try to get the facts right by doing some research.
Why I don't really trust most of what the film narrates especially in a Japanese point of view, is cos the US will always project themselves as the good guys and the victims.
When I knew it was Corny AF was the place they insinuated the Japanese Commander knew they had awoken a sleeping Giant after Pearl Harbor. when i watch films based on history, i want to feel what the main characters are feeling.... i want it to tug on my heart strings... i want to be emotionally invested... the only way i can digest everything is if i am convinced of the story's genuinity. i connected with PRIVATE RYAN (1998), THE THIN RED LINE (1998), 1917 (2019), DUNKIRK (2017), BRAVEHEART (1996) & WE'RE SOLDIERS (2002). they all have hearts. i couldn't connect with MIDWAY (2019). i couldn't connect with the story or the characters. biographical films ought to be more than just action scenes. the emotive aspect of it is far more important. MIDWAY sacrificed the emotive for action scenes, thereby killing the soul of the film. in short, MIDWAY was a forgettable experience, a waste of 800mb. |

Kaycee7: Chuck is a classic. How can you say you won't enjoy Awesome's antics, Morgan's stupidity and the shenanigans of those their co-workers because your sense of humor has evolved? That's like saying you're not sure you'll enjoy The Fresh Prince of Bel Air or Friends because your sense of humor has evolved. If anything, the nostalgia will even put a new spin on the humor. nostalgia without substance is superficial. if you watch things only for the nostalgia you will become bored soon enough when it wears off. people's humour evolve as they grow (of course it's not a guarantee because everyone is built differently....) something that may have cracked you up when you were a teen may not have the same effect on you as an adult. for instance i used to not mind laugh tracks in sitcoms when i was a teen, but nowadays i find laugh tracks intrusive and distracting. i can't stand them. i know for a fact that i don't find FRESH PRINCE & FRIENDS funny anymore, although for some reasons i still enjoy the humour in SEINFELD. |

Wow this movie really surprised the heck out of me. Adam Sandler really knocked his performance out of the park, I mean that's a huge stride coming from a guy who couldn't even make his comedic roles funny.
The story was very hysterical and very telling, and justice was served.

Midway .........8.5/10
Really enjoyed it. Too bad I was expecting the Nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki but got none. Kinda forgot it was about the Battle of Midway. taste is truly subjective. MIDWAY (2019) is the worst war movie i've watched since PEARL HARBOUR (2001). imho MIDWAY has no heart, highly pretentious and an artless propaganda film. |

JohnnyPalmer: I get your point
But you have to understand the role of characters, casts and settings There are way more people in game of thrones
Cersei killed way more people than Ferguson, and for her... It's to protect those who she loved
Ferguson is just cold..... She is one manipulative bittch... She's a psychopath, just like hannibal
She's evil
And she's still alive..... Judging from the last episode true. |

schboy3: Narcos Mexico is the concluding part ( hopefully) of Narcos, so to answer your question, yes, it is, although not on same pace. Queen of the south is ..................................., is interesting, buh highly predictable. and for THE WIRE, ah only saw one episode of season one, and to me, its more of a comedy than D' related. its actually an old series. why do some people often make this mistake ehn... NARCOS MEXICO is not a sequel to NARCOS, it's a part prequel and part concurrent. NARCOS MEXICO happened before and around the same time as NARCOS.... you will know this from examining their timeline. |
