This is exactly what you get when you try to be overly politically correct. Western Europe is in for it.

Moreso, these attacks are a spin-off effect of colonialism. France and Britain, in their bid to outdo each other in imperial expansion, created the way for a lot of colonists from conquered territories, already having angst and pent up resentment to have access to the motherland. You mix this resentment with extremist religious indoctrination and this is what you get. France suffered a bit from mainly Algerian FLN extremists, and Britain from Pakistanis.

The current crisis Britain (and by extension most Western European nations) is facing is as a result of allowing radical Islam take a hold in the name of religious tolerance and political correctness, not to forget the covert and open support they gave Bush when he was 'fighting terror', ala destroying the Middle
East.

MI6 and the Met Police really need to step up their game.

As unhinged as he sounded, Trump knew what he was saying.

ipobexposed, if no one, not even your close friends or family has told you this before, lemme be the first to tell you that you run the risk of cognitive dissonance and dementia, if not outright imsanity due to your consistent drug abuse.

The way you take drugs for the ailments of others is an unerring pointer to that.

This was the underlying meaning to the post she wrote that trended for being ambiguous. But of course many dimwits, even here couldn't decipher it.

But indeed she talks too much online, seems like she hasn't got someone to confide in.

Wish I could be your confidante, bae.

Abeg, even though I'm a passive Barca fan, let me be the first person to congratulate Madrid on breaking the hitherto unsurmountable jinx of winning the elusive UEFA Champions League back to back. Hala Madrid.

I tap into your success for the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Championship. Amen.

Mr Yuuummy should have dropped the fake ass accent once he boarded the plane to Nigeria. Who's he trying to impress?
You of course. Who else? Do you know how many naive unexposed girls he'd body on the strength of that accent alone?

Many Nigerians, at home and in the diaspora try as much as possible to emulate the western culture, ignorantly assuming that it will make them appear 'posh' and 'classy'.

I have been speaking with a client who insists on being more American than the average American. When we talk on phone he introduces himself as Mr Yuuummy (Yomi). He speaks with an exaggerated American accent, even though his 'Yoruba-tic' intonation still manages to burst though. When I met him one to one I was unimpressed because of his whole fakeness. . .
I understand that it's more of an acceptability thing. That is, the less pronounced your African accent is, the likelier your chances of fitting in and getting more openings opportunity wise. I think this scenario is more pronounced in the US.

What I can't wrap my head around is our countrymen who haven't been even to Ghana, but speak with accents ranging from Mongolian to Vietnamese.

To celebrate daughter’s graduation, an Over-excited father that apparently couldn’t contain his joy carried his daughter on his shoulders in what looks like a recreation of an old photo.

Is it just be or is her mum aging backwards?
