Like Lyon, Oshiomhole never dreamt of this. After this, Obaseki will go ahead and demolish his house in Benin because it was built on government land. Then his country home will be seized by Edo State government because it was a proceed of fraud. My sincere advice to Oshiomhole is to go and beg the follwing: i. Odigie Oyegun ii, Oba of Benin Then, these two will intercede for him in the court of Governor Obaseki (Oba does not go to the market), yet Oshiomhole does not know and he started dragging Oba to the market place.
|

chiefkpokp:which other central park? Do you stay in Benin,if so you should have listened to man around town on Thursday as this central park issue was talked about. Infact it is supposed to be an ultra modern park. After the drivers were moved from oba akenzua cultural premises the so called park was the next big thing but as at today a white elephant project. The governor did well for the oba ovoranmen park at ring road for the government owned buses but what now happens to other privately owned buses no car park but buses are parked on the streets from wire road to efehi to owoseni to zabayor buses line the street constituting traffic gridlock smh |
When you look closely at the event happening in Edo State, i can only say this is the handwork of Oshomule and his boys Tony.[/quote) Hope you have solid evidence on this statement you just made? |
[Hahahaha is it only the binis that will win obaseki the elections? Other ethnic groups like owan, akoko edo, ishan and etsako nko? Say what you know and not what you think. I pray PDP brings a credible bini man na there matters go set. quote author=Chidorx60 post=85118857]Obaseki has the support of we the Edo's and I can say very well that you are not from Edo state....so stop saying trashing about what you don't know..... Despite Obaseki' s interest in exposing that devil of a man called oshoimole....he also has never failed in his duties as a governor when it comes to development ...besides Oshoimole is not a Benin man ....and this is just the beginning of his downfall.....so peace out supporter of evil
|

Ize-Iyamu, Ex-Edo Assembly Speaker, Others Dump PDP For APC Former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Bright Omokhodion has left the PDP for APC. Former Deputy Speaker, Festus Ebea, former state chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, Mr. Tony Omoaghe, also joined Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). They defected from the PDP on Thursday. Others who defected were Mrs. Tawa Idubor, Chief Blessing Agbomhere, Etinosa Ogbeiwi, Emmanuel Momoh and several others. Explaining their reason for defection, Omokhodion said the internal problems in the PDP informed their reason for leaving the party. He said they reached the decision after making wide consultations with the senatorial districts and after an exhaustive deliberation. “That as a result of leadership failure, Edo State PDP no longer command the electoral sentiment of the Edo people. ”We, therefore in our numbers collectively resolve that Edo state PDP has failed in its objective mission to the people and we have this day resigned our membership of the PDP and have resolved to join the All Progressives Congress.” Ize-Iyamu told their supporters that joining the APC is not a way to say they are taking a step back from politics, as he warned them from having bad feelings about the PDP. He said, “PDP and any other political party for that matter are not our enemies. Please refrain from any attack that suggests that we are leaving PDP in anger or in bitterness. What is important is our primary objective in politics, why we chose to be in politics. “Many people have different reasons for being in politics but for most of us in this group we see politics as an opportunity to represent our people, we see it as an opportunity to assess government and bring the dividends, the benefits of government to our people and we cannot be fulfilled if we play politics without being above to achieve these goals. “People might call us names, but many understand why we have to do what we did. We have done what we have done because we believe that we just assist to bring development to our people. We must assist to bring solutions. It is not enough to just criticise and criticise. We want to be in the forefront of providing solutions. “We want to assure our brothers there that we are not coming to a strange place. APC is home to many of us just like PDP was home. We are going into the APC with good intentions. We are not going there to join factions. We are going to join APC. We are going there to help strengthen the party and we intend to give our full allegiance to those in charge, those in authority. We will not undermine the powers that be. We will not join in any fight or name calling but we have come with the best of intentions.” https://aledeh.com/ize-iyamu-ex-edo-assembly-speaker-others-dump-pdp-for-apc/ |

Don't start what you can't finish. What do you know about Bini and Ishan people? Lazy is not in our DNA. Hardworking, agile, innovative and industrious is simply how you describe Edo people. I don't even know if there are ijaws in Edo state,if not for the recent gelegele debacle. Meanwhile I doubt you stay in Edo state cos if you did you wouldn't have made such a fallacious statement EzeIgboNwaChukwu: |

JoseRaji:Benin has a good drainage network via the moats which apart from been defense system were also for drainage but a lot of the moats which are natural waterways hàve been sand filled by miscreants and land grabbers which translates to blockage and more flooding. Recently the state government demolished some houses at ugbor where most were sand filled. Just last week there were complaints on a radio fone in program Rush hour that a most in a particular part of sapele road is been sandfilled |

ojibole1:uselu shell and tomline flood receeds after a couple of hours due to the storm water project unlike before when it will be like that for an average of three to four days. Intact five junction and nta road were worse off. In the early 90s some of us going to ugbowo via five junction had to wait for heavy duty vehicles to aid us cross the flood as it was a no go area for commercial buses |

Qsscruz:How does this your writeup concern the topic? You have concluded the governor lied from what source? Let's try and get facts right and not follow the bandwagon of concluding without investigation. Read this They said 66 people were killed, we contemplated it at first following some genuine narratives. We challenged the governor and called for substantiation. The governor accepted the challenge by visiting Kajuru alongside the reps of The Army, The Police and press in a bid to proving his claim. The statement released by the Army earlier today substantiates the governors claim, the words from one of the community leaders even suggested more as far as the magnitude of the killing is concerned! Hence we call on relevant security agencies to as a matter of expediency investigate the killings and bring the perpetrators to book while employing tight security measures on the area inflamed by the menace. We also call on them to effect investigation on PROF CHIDI ODINKALU, NEMA boss, CAN and SOKAPU for supplying the public space with information antonymous to that which have been confirmed by the Army, Police and other relevant security today and should bring them to book if they can not substantiate their claims. While condemning the incidence in its totality, we call on the governor and his media aids to be more accurate in disseminating information of this sensitivity. There have been discrepancies on the dates attributed to the incidence which unarguably saddles alot of implications especially as elections is near! The reports suggested that the attack was carried out on Monday 11th February but the governor through his publicists broke the news on Friday, the eve of the supposed 2019 general elections. Of course, that particular moment was prone to inflammations owing to the easy ignitable nature of Kaduna State! We call for more professionalism! Allah Ya jiqan duk wanda aka kashe, Allah Ya bi musu haqqin su. May peace reign in our state Kaduna and our country Nigeria at large! *Abdulhaleem Ishaq Ringim* Political analyst | Activist | Advocate for Youth Development |
