You guys should keep it cool, unless una go fight tire if u meet worst personalities in camp *pensive*

Just because I choose not to agree with another person's view point or two people do not agree does not mean we want to TACKLE each other in ONE BIG HALL. Animals fight TACKLE each other....Human beings argue...Deal with it.

We are humans and we are bound to disagree or do you expect me to lick your a55 and agree with anything you say for the sake of not causing an argument? OOOooooo...I'm soooo scared.

Lol, you must feel so smart grin.

That you rushed to attack the dude without knowing where he's coming from says a whole lot about you. Coming from one who has successfully passed through school, well, that's rich

I thought you were going to let it pass? Or are you just trying to detract from the actual subject matter. If I misquoted Rdduite then I admit my mistake.

Does not remove from the fact that you came on here to make ignorant statements. Don't be a hypocrite. The fact that I will never make a statement like you did, make simple generalisations like you just did, may just, really may just mean that you need to exit from your ignorant state.

BACK IT UP RATHER THAN POINT OUT THE FACT THAT I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE MISQUOTED SOMEONE ELSE.

If you don't have anything else informative to add rather than try to turn people against each other and pick fights that are not your own, then please PASS ON.

BTW: Admitting ones mistake is actually a sign of maturity, intelligence and humility. You should try it sometime. You might like it.

And again, I guess I'll have to let this pass

I think its best for all concerned that you LET IT PASS because you simply uttered a baseless comment without backup or evidence...Was it in a bid to make yourself seem more manly in front of the BOYS?

The fact that you are on this thread shows me you are about to embark on National Youth Service... That in turn tells me you have successfully passed through higher education which was meant to imbue you with knowledge and open your eyes to the modern world.

Next time, please make comments that are in line with the above and reflect some sort of intelligence.

No offence intended...

grin grin I pity you.

Guys and ladies have different definitions of facing life squarely. When a lady talks about facing life squarely, she's talking of marriage.
There's no other thing to face in life outside getting married grin

Their definition of a fulfilled life is getting married grin

You and I know that isn't the case with we guys. By facing life squarely, we are facing the hustle to greatness

I cant believe some people actually liked your myopic comment! Seriously I do not know the kind of ladies you have been meeting that do not have visions or ambitions except to get married (as you put it)...

Are you for real? You must be one of those misogynists who believe a woman's place is in the home. Urrghhh...Educate your mind young man 'cos the ignorance you just displayed is shocking!!!

RedBenson:

Serious about this? Then why do people use it exclusively like it was not a section in the law? And why the global recognition if related only to Nigeria?

Because Nigerians started those types of scams and normally are the ones that perpetrate it. There are specific scams/frauds that are called "419" scams and 8 times out of 10 was originated from either Nigeria or a Nigerian person.

^^^ Exactly due to the above.
Criminal Code Act-Part VI - Nigeria Law

419. Any person who by any false pretence, and with intent to defraud, obtains from any other person anything capable of being stolen, or induces any other person to deliver to any person anything capable of being stolen, is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for three years.

If the thing is of the value of one thousand naira or upwards, he is liable to imprisonment for seven years.

It is immaterial that the thing is obtained or its delivery is induced through the medium of a contract induced by the false pretence.

The offender cannot be arrested without warrant unless found committing the offence.

Just talk to her or start giving her prior hints (day or two warnings) about imaginary appointments you need to keep or that you are going away for the day and returning at midnight.

Romance / Re: "I Love You But I Won't Do That!" by Darkchocolate(f): 8:46pm On Jul 19, 2014
Regardless of the gender, no one should ask the other person to do what the other person would not feel naturally glad to do.
No one should make the other feel "forced" to do something
No one should make the other do what they feel uncomfortable doing
No one should make the other do what is against their principles

In saying all this, to love is to sacrifice and like you said we (not just women but men too) are naturally giving and tend to want to please those we love.

So both parties should only do whatever they wish to do out of choice because they love that person. Not out of obligation.

I dnt need those jargons babe, thats why u gals have fish brain.

Very laughable indeed. I do not need to exchange words with you as it is clear amongst both of us who has an uber small pea sized brain. To say you have a fish-brain would actually be a compliment to you. Next time, put something at the end of it...Cover it up or get her to cover her legs.

Irresponsible BOYS like you are why the single-parenthood and STD communities are on the rise.

Remember ... Next time (Although I pity the next girl you are going to stick your unprotected thing inside), PUT SOMETHING AT THE END OF IT.

P.s. Transport yourself to the nearest clinic to make sure you are not harbouring some nasties. You sound right dirty (and not in a good way)!!! Urgh!!! Hypocrite!!!

If I were you, I would put all my visa and education docs in my hand luggage (for easy access and also you know you have them with you in case your main luggage gets misplaced). It is really not necessary for them to see it but prepare for all eventualities.

What address will you be staying in the UK
Why are you here
What will you be studying, etc

If you are lucky, they might not even ask you any questions at all. It is very random and if you look shifty, they'll most likely pick you out. Just speak with confidence. Goodluck

She made you stop using protection? She used a gun on you? Can you not resist sex if she resists protection? You left the sole responsibility of preventing pregnancy and STDs (might I add) to her?

Honey, you are probably one of the most stupiiid people I have come across (Said in the politest way).

Discuss it with her. If she chooses to keep the baby (which she should probably do) then you really have no choice. Y'all better not kill that innocent child because of both your stuuupid acts angry

Chubhie: Lol. Even you prophet! With a member of your congregation! This is my take: You fell in love with her pretty face and packaging then priced her market and she sold and closed her shop after you tasted the forbidden fruit and she saw no motivation to impress you more. That she only puts on the pretty face and packaging only when you guys step out leads you into many illusory thoughts as- is she packaging for other men out there? Is she cheating? She should dress to impress only me. Your mind is playing tricks on you by giving you false impressions that you already owned her-cos she sleeps over and you have free acess to honey though it might have cost you a fortune to land and maintain. E easy to date sexy babe? That both of you are home and the only time you get excited is only when she's dressed in tune with the mental picture being played out in your head? Bro, na so kolo dey take start o. When will she have time to live her own life? You have not even paid her bride price nor wedded her in holy matrimony. Forgive me if I'm old school and tis the normal fad now. This is one disadvantage of falling in love only based on material perception. Next time let the material attract you but fall in love with her personality. I'm afraid what you currently have may not last the distance and should best be enjoyed as a business relationship. You bring the cash and she gives you packaging even when sleeping. All the best.

Reasonable, I am permitted to quote the qualities of a bishop as listed in the book of 1 Timothy 3 vs 1-7?
.
1 Timothy 3:1-7King James Version (KJV)
1. This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given
to hospitality, apt to teach;
3. Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of
God?)
6. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
.
Reasonable as a word is subjective. The quality , quantity and prizes of things will differ from one camp to another. You taste too matter.
If you are lover of Fried rice with other helper like cole slaw, plantain, meat/fish/ egg not forgeting the coca cola jingles; "rice with coke, better together" and you wont stop your friend from benefitting from you; you will have to be heavily loaded. Anyone that cant do without eating "good/ very satisfying" 3 square meal and other sweet mouth candies. Also, anyone like the man in the Fidelity/ Wema bank benefits of insurance jingles some 4 - 5 years ago of "not eating your tomorrow" ( the fat person in the advert has plates full of meat and is still requesting for more) will all fall in this category .
.
Other categories are those that will end up using their certificates as a collateral at the beer joint ( dont let this suprise you ) till they pay the 19800 allawee because they are heavy drinkers and not stingy when it comes to impressing their new catches.
.
If you have lived in Awo hall in Obafemi Awolow University ( I respect the communism spirit in this great hall of residence of the school where true radical leaders for positive change are made ; please am not insulting anybody/ school/ organisation and I hope this wont cause another "some of them wished they had attended OAU" crusade) or attended Federal government colleges with bullying seniors and gluttonous partners at dinningand you have been groomed to survive in any weather; you might not spend much because you will survive with the camp food, only that the tea or whatsoever they will call it might end up being a coloured hot water (so will need to your own bournvita/ milo/ milk/ sugar / honey or any sweetner to your taste). Reports has it that FCT and Lagos corpers most times are well taken care of because of it proximity to seat of power and the fear of the unknown.
.
I am telling you that you can survive with even less than #15,000 because it depends on you coupled with the fact that you will paid a cash total of #22;300 in camp (bicyle #1000, transport #1500 and 1st federal allawee #19800).
.
Please pardon my long epistle and typos; I will edit when am chanced.
