Why doesnt cbn directly allocate to end user.there is system but i guess banks or cbn doesnt want to be transparent in allocation. If they are transparent and allocate using system at work rather than banks top management deciding allocation lot of malpractices can be avoided and dollar can be saved.

Just my view☺
How would CBN achieve direct allocation to end users? If you think Commercial banks are corrupt, you haven't patronised CBN directly then. Asides the fact that they're incredibly inept, they can STEAL, and still point fingers at you as the accused.

They have brought shame and agony through the application of their crude and godless politics which is at variance with the principles upon which our founding fathers built our great party
Sheriff has the guts to label Wike and Fayose, and people think PDP is still useful? Heck even APC refused Sheriff membership cos of how evil and scheming he is. At least we can now agree PDP is dead.

The main truth while most people are warning against mmm is because they are jealous. Yes they are jealous that some ppl out there are getting 30% interest of whatever they have, if it were not so why would you warn against mmm and and you say nothing about sports betting? Another reason is why are these people more concerned with the crashing of mmm? why do u take panadol on someone's headache? people loose money everyday on nairabet and d likes u don't complain about it so why mmm?
Yes, we are jealous that people are robbing others and collecting 30% and we're too 'foolish' to join grin grin
Nairabet is gambling. Gambling is legal, if unethical for some.

PoliticsRe: 40 Vehicles Recovered By ICPC From Directors And Their Deputies (Photos) by darqly(m): 6:58pm On Jan 25, 2017
I read somewhere, i guess in "Reluctant Rebel", an account of the Nigerian Civil war, that all Biafran official vehicles were Land rovers.
They were also all Painted Bright Yellow, to discourage abuse by public officials, which I think was an ingenious way to curb excesses.

All government vehicles in Nigeria ought to be Innoson, whether they paint them yellow or green and white doesn't really matter to me. Why would a director ride an Audi Q7 as an official vehicle? Whose funds were used to procure the vehicle? That's a high end luxury SUV.

The Representatives of that country borrows money from that developed country to assist the other country who is in need

MMM is an investment platform, the fact that you do not know how it works does not make it bad. why do you invest in stocks, you can well remember a particular time people lost a huge chunk of thier savings and investment in the nigerian stock exchange, at that time a lot of people were making money from it so the very thought of a crash was far from people's mind,so would you call those people that invested thier money, fools?
shocked shocked I don't believe this! An investment platform? What do they invest in? Oil? Gas? Commodities? Pray, tell us something we're missing. You're even drawing comparison with NSE?? If you're really as smart as you claim, you'd take her threats seriously and protect yourself.

Firstly, she has your account details. Ignore what others are telling you, she can make life difficult for you- if she pushes the right buttons.

Your account has BVN I believe, which reveals your biodata and contact address. If you're blacklisted on the BVN server, you are Finished, as far as the financial industry in Nigeria is concerned. And this is the major purpose of the BVN, to weed out shady characters and build up a credit worthy register. I'd tread carefully if I were you.

BusinessRe: Is It Possible To Reverse Money Sent To Wrong Account Number? by darqly(m): 12:26pm On Jan 06, 2017
futurewise11:
Partially true.

The receiver consent is not needed to do reversal.
The point is most bankers are always against reversal because its an appraisal issue and it affect them negatively. Its highly possible but u need to beg and plead before it can be initiated.
This is incorrect please. Bankers are not against reversals as they must always ensure correctness and accuracy in their operations.

Secondly, the poster stated that he initiated the transaction to the account himself, so who's going to get poorly appraised for it?

4) Law
5) Public Administration
6) Mechanical Engineering
7) Pharmacy
cool Business Administration
9) Agriculture
10) Mass Communication
11) Chemical Engineering
12) Architecture
13) Computer Science
14) Dentistry
15) Hrm& Personnel Management
This list is so 90's. and is why Nigeria is still stuck in a rut. There's nothing disruptive or innovative in these traditional courses and we need to re-invent them to suit the times we are in. I don't know by which yardstick you measured these courses before labelling them lucrative either.
Lets look at where the millenials are headed-

Software Development
Programming
International Financing
Investment Banking
Tele-Medicine
Data Analysis
Business Intelligence
Financial Management
Agric Economics
Financial Technology
Information and Comm Technology
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

These, my friend, are just some of the courses we ought to introduce to our curriculum in order to be able to compete in today's world.
Nothing wrong with the ones you listed, but nothing special about them either, so what's your advantage? These days even a first class in those disciplines listed earlier won't get you more than a foot in the door.

MMM froze and life went on. Banks only have a temporary cash scarcity and everyone wants to bust a vessel...

There's an acute shortage of ATM compliant denominations, 1000 and 500 notes- not a shortage of cash totally. CBN was caught napping on this one, as usual, and it's totally their fault. Banks don't produce cash... undecided
