Didn't get any formal interviews. Was recommended for a job unrelated to Data but the need for a data analyst arose and since they already knew from the previous interview for the initial position that I dabbled in Data analysis, they set up another interview for the Data analyst position. Passed and got the job.

Mostly advanced excel stuff (formulas, v-lookup, data entry, tweaking customized excel templates).

For my own sake I optimized so many processes(collection, cleaning, analysis, presentation) to make my job easier, could have used python but I was weak in excel and decided to actually master excel, later on I shifted my workload to Power BI because of Power query but I could still use excel to do what I needed.

NOTE: They don't actually care what software or tech stack you use. Just get them the data they need when they request.

Bro, I think you are right with your last paragraph. I was given a problem to solve of which I pythonize (Football analysis Assignment tho). Who cares if it's python or not. All they care is results and job well done.

As for me, I do tutorial for students using zoom. We fix classes to learn and we code all through.

Aside coding, he solves problems like 2+2. He solved a business data science problem I gave him within a min. This same problem, I gave many Nigerian who called themselves "Data scientist" to solve and failed. Do I say fail, they didn't even bother to submit.

I'm mentioning Pakistan cos India and Pakistan are somehow related. The Pakistan guy I'm referring too is a native of Pakistan but schooled in India.

Unavailability of laptop; which is an indispensable tool had been an obstacle for a very long time. Tho I have managed to save 100k to get one by the end of this month hopefully.
