Tats: At least I can wake up at 1 am and drive to Tesco to shop without any fear!
Life is full of compromises, so it depends on what is important to you/your family. Firstly, not everyone face joblessness, loneliness, e.t.c like you seem to suggest. If you are lonely, I suggest you spend your sunday around peckham market. . If you work fulltime from monday to Friday, you should be looking forward to resting during the weekend, visiting friends, going to church (if applicable) e.t.c. Afterall also, Lebara and phone card never finish! So you can jist with Family and friends back home.
You can be in naija and have millions in your account or be here and have only a few hundreds or thousands in your account and enjoy the facilities that this place provides. Whatever is priority for you or of importance. You can earn much and pay through your nose to have your kids go to Private schools in Nigeria or you can have them go to very good state schools here for virtually free if you live in a good area. Its all your choice. I dont mind the about 6 months of freezing weather, cos at least i can pad myself. I prefer it to heat. Is it all the time that I am outside during the cold weather?
Anyway, why you come back here sef? Gbam! |

I give it to them when you say most beautiful facially but here is where they fall my hand 1: bulging tummy and sides 2: Slack thighs only held by tight jeans 3: Bad pedicure and bad skin color on the legs especially (now I know whey Majority of Naija girls are always on tight-jeans and tops)

Download these programmes; TVU ; http://www.tvunetworks.com/downloads/player.htmlSop cast; http://www.sopcast.com/download/Tv Ants; http://tvants.en.softonic.com/Install them on your pc and there you go, you’ll have lots of stations to choose from. Search through the sport channels anytime you want to watch live matches, definately there will be at least one channel streaming your match of choice. I normally use TVU to watch the premier league matches, channel 59687-football 2 shows at least two premierships matches every weekend, as well as channel 21500 and 72433. |

nicola c: Actually he did absolutely nothing except be a black guy on the street with £50 in his wallet & with 2 white european guys who had 1 gram of coke on them. They got off scot free & let to continue their holiday, my husband got arrested & over nothing more than 1 cop said he saw them give him the money which is bull as it was mine!!! With such little evidence they have decided to make an example of him & wan to put him in prison, so forgive me if i seem a little pissed off about it all & want to help him. Its a joke if i had been caught in exactly same circumstances as a white european female the police wouldnt have done a thing! And yes i have heard it all discussed in the court so im not some niave little girl believing everything i am told.
Back to the visa, i thought they only took biometric info for settlement visa's but is it definitely for this too? Damn This is very tricky,if he has been convicted that simply means he has a criminal record, and on his further visa applications he will be required to give details of this. The EEA family permit might not be refused if at the present moment he is not considered as a threat to the national security of the country he is seeking permit to enter. OAM4J: @Vicjustice Just want to know. Can you throw more light on this? If he doesn’t mention anything about Spain on his application, how will the UK embassy find out? Conduct a search round all the EU countries systems? HOW? there are several ways in which this can be found out, firstly, like Vic justice mentioned above,if he has ever applied for asylum before in any EU country, his fingerprints is alreay in the system and this can be easily checked, anothe way is if he has ever been deported from any EU country or convicted in any of EU countries, his information will be recordedin the SIS (shengen Information system),though the UK is not in the shengen zone, but there is exchange of information between police. So definately, there will be a background check on him and they will find out.But like i said before, this on its own is not enough reason for the refusal of EEA family permit.i will advice you to seek a legal advice. |

ntutu: @Vicjustice thanks my brother for your explanations to me.I realy appriciate. The woman is a pastor and she just like me.Beside i have not gone to University and she promised to put me in School and find me were i wil be working.I have lost hope of going to University here cos i dont have any money for that. She wil house and feed me.She has called me telling me that she will be coming to Nigeria in December for a church programe she is invited. What do you sugest i should do? Anyway, since she is coming to Nigeria, what you need to do is to take loads of pictures together, with families and friends, also make sure you are saving all the e-mails,chats etc.Your greatest wahala will be the age difference.Dont think it will be very easy, you need a lot of patience and persistence. So far she is willing to sponsor you for the Fiancee visa meaning she has the financial capability, then things shouldnt be that hard for you guys. But be sure that the consular will want you guys to really prove that what you have is REAL LOVE.All the best. |

Dubino: Here I come again Mr.Adepaki,I was highly touched when I read what Omonla, Clem2love, OAM4J, Chuksab, Justwise, Adonri, Net4cash, and Mr.Crackles posted. It shows that there're still some good people in Nigeria and I am so thrilled about that. May God bless all the people I mentioned above for being truthful to their fellow countryman. I've some useful information for you Mr. Adepaki if you insist on going to US. I'll like you to check out this website- www.uscis.gov . Therein, u'll see a link to the categories of US visa and their requirements. You can choose the one you think you qualified for,you can apply for it online. You don't need to pay for that,it's do-it-yourself kind of thing. However, there may be application fee,I am not so sure, but if there's it should be paid directly to US embassy in Nigeria. Again,if there's anything you don't understand in the application, that is when you need somebody to explain it to you. The bitter truth is that you may not qualified based on your educational background, work experience and host of other things they may consider. Information #2,check out this website- www.dvlottery.state.gov that is US government website for visa lottery. So far, this is the best visa anyone can get for US now, 'cos if you win it,they'll give you a resident permit which will enable you to live, work,go to school, travel in and out of US anytime you want. The visa lottery started on Oct. 2, '09 and will last till Nov. 30, '09. You don't need to pay for the lottery,it's free. Paying will in no way increase your chance of winning, instead it will decrease it 'cos if they know you paid, they will disqualify you. You will fill the forms online and print out your confirmation receipt and keep it for reference in case you win. On the final note,I wish you God's guidance as you 're about to make a decision that 'll change your life for better or for worst. Great job bro,God bless you. @ adepaki After reading this wonderful piece from this wonderful bro,if you still go ahead and give your money to scammers na you sabi.Enough said already. |
Sports › Nigerians, Koreans Join The Party by Davedavy(op): 9:20am On Oct 03, 2009 |
Nigerians, Koreans join the party (FIFA.com) Friday 2 October 2009 THE DAY REPLAYED - On the penultimate day of action in the group phase of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Egypt 2009 Korea Republic disposed of USA to clinch their place in the knockout stages. Thanks to that result and Germany's equally emphatic defeat of Cameroon, Nigeria advanced to the next round without even playing, leaving only three berths still to be filled in the Round of 16. The Germans' 3-0 win ensured they finished top of Group C, with Ghana taking the spoils in Group D after sharing four goals in an entertaining encounter with Uruguay. In the other game in that section, England and Uzbekistan played out a 1-1 draw that sealed the fates of both sides. Also exiting the competition are the Cameroonians, while USA are clinging on to a slim chance of going through as one of the best third-placed sides. Results Germany 3-0 Cameroon Korea Republic 3-0 USA Uruguay 2-2 Ghana Uzbekistan 1-1 England Goal of the day Uruguay-Ghana, Mohammed Rabiu 55 Despite having outplayed their South American opponents, Ghana could find no reward for their domination. That was until the irrepressible Andre Ayew popped up on the right and slipped the ball between the legs of Adrian Gunino and into the path of Mohammed Rabiu. Cutting back to the edge of the box, the midfielder then unleashed an unstoppable left-footed drive on the turn, giving Uruguay keeper Martin Rodriguez no chance. Impressive throughout the tournament to date, Ghana showed with this stunning effort why they are a team to be feared. Memorable moments Thanks coach: The Korea Republic players were so pleased with their opening goal against USA that they ran over the bench en masse and kneeled down in front of coach Hong Myung Bo. The gesture of appreciation is a Korean custom by the name of Chusuk, a means for families to express gratitude for everything they have. And in view of their show of admiration, the young Taeguk Warriors obviously see Hong as something of a father figure. Target practice: The only reason Cameroon did not go down to a heavier defeat to Germany was the outstanding performance of Francois Beyokol between the posts. The Cameroon gloveman and captain showcased his agility and reflexes in the 53rd minute with a miraculous triple save. After keeping out Lewis Holtby's close-range shot with an outstretched hand, Beyokol got down smartly to deny Richard Sukuta-Pasu not once but twice from the rebound. Style wars: Dominic Adiyiah caught the eye with his choice of footwear for Ghana's match with Uruguay, striding on to the pitch with one yellow and one blue boot. Perhaps jealous at being upstaged, team-mate Andre Ayew then swapped his black boots for a flashier white pair midway through the first half. It will be interesting to see what combinations the Ghanaians have in store for their last 16 outing. The stat 849 - The number of minutes England had gone without scoring at the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals until Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely hit an equaliser against the Uzbeks. Their last goal in the competition came at Malaysia 1997, when Jamie Carragher netted in the 2-1 quarter-final defeat to Argentina. Fan's view "Thank God, my broken heart is now healed and my hope has life again. Fly Eagles Fly," Rossimobis breathes a sigh of relief. source; www.fifa.combut the big question on in the lips of many of us is that;can these boys go any further in the tournament?defeating Ghana or Germany wont be that easy.To make this possible, the flying eagles must really be all out and of course cannot afford to loose many scoring chances as they did in their previous matches.I wish the FE all the best.Up Naija. |
