Politics › Re: Learn From Dino Melaye! Nigerians Urge Army To Always ‘climb A Tree’ by Daviddson(m): 3:14pm On Jul 30, 2018
The thing is that Dino is actually trying to outsmart the populace and whip up sympathy for himself through these comic acts. He knows no person in their right mind sense would believe this cockk and bull story but rather laugh at them - even those who ordinarily would have wanted him arrested. It's a psychological game.
Politics › Re: Soldiers Attack Community In Akwa Ibom After Death Of Their Colleague. Photos by Daviddson(m):
Africans and their barbaric behaviour. Two years ago when a soldier was killed on the streets of London, it was police that handled the case. There was no drafting of military thereafter to wipe out those living around the place. I've yet to read incidents of soldiers in the US, Europe or even Asia harassing civilians let alone "wiping out a community", burning people's houses or even arresting people. That's police job.

When has serving impeachment notice become equal to impeachment itself? Fake news.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Are Many Nigerian Churches Claiming "World's Largest Church Auditorium"? by Daviddson(op): 7:53pm On Jul 28, 2018
Faith can be stirred within the walls of church buildings, but faith is formed and nourished in the waiting rooms of hospitals, helplessly witnessing a thirty-one-year-old sister suffer, holding kids affected by the AIDS epidemic, and being stretched outside of our own social makeup. - Josh Ross

Very good venture from the FG. But am I the only one who feels the logo is so poor that it has no meaning relating to aviation at all? That's like a replica of a tape they cut during commissioning of project.
And to think that it was contracted to a foreign company sends shudders down my spine. Only if they'd contacted the person who designed this one below.

Butterflyle0:
It arrived PDP governed Rivers state for onward delivery to their paid mercenaries so they can begin wreaking havoc to the eastern states and claim it is Fulani herdsmen same way they did in Benue so they could force the populace to think there is a northern agenda against them with the support of the military.
They have already started with IMO state with the assassination of the APC chairman of ideato North.
Same old bloody campaign methodology of PDP.
I hope you're not the same ButterflyLeo in the Religion section whom I know and admire his zeal, because you've been misfiring from all cylinders since you came to this section. You're not been objective at all; your life seem to be wrapped up around defending APC no matter how awry it sounds, and it's so clear you're a registered member, which is not bad. But you've got to air your views responsibly. Read what you typed above and see the so many blind analyses and conclusions in it.
Butterflyle0:
Bro I know what I am saying. If you think I am misfiring then its clear that the political games being played by the PDP on the gullible is working for them.
Strange things happen around the time presidential elections are near. Things like this.
If you recall how PDP tried to use boko haram to distabilize the north so they could get massive votes from there but it misfired and got out of control. Remember the late security adviser said PDP is boko haram? A few weeks after his revelation he was killed.
Now close to the elections what PDP calls "killer herdsmen " is now the new agenda being used to distabilize the middle belt and will definitely attempt same in the south since they believe the north is locked down for APC and some southern states as well.
Check the states these so called herdsmen have been senselessly killing in and you will discover that these are politically strategic states needed by the PDP in order to consolidate on their areas of loses.
You know I have a very analytical mind since you know me from the religious section and I am also privy to certain Info on the goings on.
What you are seeing here in the OP is nothing but the first of many coming to the east and then there would be an unleashing of terror in the east with army uniform wearing bandits and people would be made to think that the FG is behind it all in connivance with the military.
Do you remember that PDP were once spreading the propaganda that buhari wants to islamize Nigeria? Well guess what? Now they have Atiku in their camp also clamouring for presidency.

Atiku is also a Fulani man and a Muslim. Since they believe all Fulanis are the same, why allow Atiku to come on board and seek the highest position in the land on their platform?
I cannot be emotional nor can I be deceived.
I know what I am saying and will always speak the truth no matter what. You know me for the truth and even in politics that will not change.
I have no religious bigotry here but simply stand for the truth.
If you totally, wholeheartedly believe that PDP is behind the killings going on in the country, then you're making the same mistake that Jonathan made when he concluded boko haram was the work of APC to destabilise his government. Was that alibi able to earn him enough sympathy and subsequent winning of the 2015 elections? And it's the same mistake Buhari is making now. He has all the aces to go after whomever is suspected to be sponsors of those killers rather than pointing fingers from afar. Buhari is the president for common sense sake. Let him arrest whoever is the lead sponsor - whether it be PDP chairman or the party as an organisation - and charge them to court!

I just hate fake news. I'm no fan of Davido or Chioma or the immoral lifestyle they live, but this is obviously a half baked, sourceless, concocted news by a jealous lady, but now it's already on the front page. undecided If Seun will give me custody of this site for a month, he himself will be wowed with the transformation it'll record. cool

After Biafra news media, the next biggest propaganda and lying media outfit is LeadersNG. This so-called news was conceived, created, manufactured by them and then edited and re-edited to this form, I can bet it. The only set of people who'll believe this crap are the same people (it cuts across all ethnic groups grin) who believed that a certain Jubril was brought in from Sudan to come and act as Buhari. grin cool

You and Resurgent2019 should keep on jumping from one thread to another, celebrating as if you just won a million dollars raffle draw, and praising Saraki to the high heavens and showering fake prayers over him. grin
Saraki has suddenly become some of you's alpha and omega, overnight. How nonsensical.

seunmsg:
That should be the end of PDP in Ogun state. Tinubu should bring him over to APC. He will be a very valuable asset to Ogun state APC.
You're trying to confirm the allegations made by people who say APC is a conglomerate of the criminals that were once in PDP, and that once a person joins APC, he becomes a "saint" by default; and which is itself a faulty mindset. You're already rejoicing about the prospect of him reducing the ranks of the PDP, forgetting how you used to bash him and wish for him to be extradited to the US to face drug charges.
Nairaland is very small - we know each other. cheesy
PassingShot:
It's same with PDP and other parties too. Stop looking for "likes"
Me looking for likes? Are you saying my comment is off? If yes, provide a counter-attack against it, rather than holding on to straw, Mr 'passerby'.grin

Unconfirmed news which is like a repetition of what we've been seeing during Saraki's CCT trial, and the next minute it'll be on the front page. So whacky a website that should be competiting with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Even Telegram app that came a few years ago is already 1 million miles ahead of this nonsense website, and is churning out new features every now and then, while this one stays the same, as if they swear for am. grin

Seun, if you don tire to update this one-man site, why not just sell it for N10m to a serious investor who'll turn it around into a 21st century forum, and go to Bahamas and enjoy yourself? cool
Politics › Re: Massive Defection From PDP To APC In Ekot Epenem Senatorial Districts Really (pi by Daviddson(m):
Lol. Is it not Nigeria again? If Atiku should organise a rally next week at this same town, 'at least' 90% of this very set of people will still turn up for it, after N1500 'transport fare'. grin
I stopped taking these numbers seriously when PDP held their own in Katsina and I saw sea of heads at the rally ground.

I never cease to laugh in my mind whenever I read this man's post on Facebook. He's a complete version of Freeze, the only difference being that he's totally irreligious and doesn't hide it unlike Freeze who is an atheist but has decided to continue to deceive people by saying "I'm a born again Christian, but I don't believe that...premarital sex is a sin', '...that Fela was evil' ",etc.

He even said Illuminati people are better than pastors; a perfect example of an atheist and an attention seeker. grin.
Nairaland's GoTV must have copied this line from him. Dude is a Muslim, but never ceases to claim being a born again Christian.

"It horribly skews the meaning of the cross when contemporary prophets of self-esteem say that the cross is a witness to my infinite worth... Politics › Re: Adegboruwa Drags Joe Igbokwe To Court Over Facebook Post by Daviddson(m):
Lol. Who doesn't know that Wike paid for his Supreme Court victory. First, while election petition was still in the tribunal/court of appeal, Wike left Rivers State to Abuja to come and secretly visit then chief justice, Musdapher - I read that in the news when it happened. Secondly, after the Supreme Court okayed his election, during his so-called thanksgiving service, he accidentally thanked Justice Mary Odili for being of help. In other words, Odili's wife, a Supreme Court Justice, was likely the one who funneled the money to the other justices.
phase1:
If you asked to come to court and substantiate this garbage you just wrote here, you'll show a clean pair of heels and Usian bolt your way into hiding.
You're the only one I'm replying because you at least disagreed without throwing slurs like the others.
Yeah, I will. Let me know when the court hearing is taking place. Search Google and see if you will not find those news there. If you don't, quote me back and I will get you the links.

^^Rushdie finally made a sensible post today. grin
When I saw the headline, the first thing that came to my mind was that his fellow Fulani men may have killed him probably because he wasn't supporting their violence or has been shielding Christians from them whenever they attack Christian communities, like the news of another imam who did so spread like wildfire last week.
Politics › Re: Buhari Appoints Tunde Lemo As FERMA Chairman by Daviddson(m):
Again, this is what we call political patronage. And Buhari is fast becoming a pro in it. It's a norm world over; it only becomes bad when it is taken to the extreme. Trump knowing the great contribution the Evangelicals played in his election has never ceased to throw in policies - both local and foreign policies - to appeal to the Evangelicals, as a form of pleasant payback.

Recently, anytime I'm tempted to be angry with the Judiciary for being complicit in the corruption going on in Nigeria, I'm reminded of three former governors now serving jail terms (one in Adamawa and two in Abuja). I hope Saraki makes their number four in no distant future.

Why are people celebrating this calamity? Some people are just too dumb and wicked that everything to them is politics. Where have we left our humanity? For those of you above me indirectly rejoicing and throwing shades at Buhari for this unfortunate situation, how would you feel if in a few days time you learned that your soldier uncle, long-time friend or your brother in-law or even your blood brother whom you never knew had been posted to Borno was actually among the dead? Would you still joyfully say "I thought Buhari said he's defeated BH", with a grin?
