Petersamuel8:Very sharp guy but if CCTV catch u dey stamp am ehn, u are going to OYO state o |
wetdick:How I go take know na? Before u credited ur NL account with ur apology, I was already dishonouring ur opinion which which u earlier presented, just like Salami . Occupier's liability? Hm. Make I scratch somewhere for my body fes. I don scratch finish. It appears u suddenly lost ur confidence tho, since u failed to expound ur opinion, based on the fact that u misapplied the case u cited earlier. Na so u take pass abi? . |
omotolly22:So u dey ur own for church abi? Chai! On top God matter. Buhari sef. Why don't we just avoid all these problems by sticking t and enjoying the truth from God's word? It would keep and save us from flenty wahala. |
Valerie47:Dis is becoming twisted. Chai! So much for premarital sex and peer pressure and wanting to belong. So much trouble in the world. Make I go read my bible abeg. I happy wr I dey o. Married in the lord tho |
wetdick:Oga I don't know wat u read in that case that informed ur conclusion that the bank would be held liable o! This is wat the supreme Court said in that case: "If the customer makes a deposit but a cheque is presented b4 the deposit is credited into the customer's account, due to the short time frame in crediting the account, the bank would not be liable if the cheque is dishonoured". As at the time the cheques were presented for clearing, the 4k which the customer had directed to be paid into his account had not been credited into his account. Hence the cheques were dishonoured. So how does this case apply to the issue afoot, especially wen the money in this case had been deposited but OP's question touches on "b4 depositing" not after depositing. |
MCMXCVIII:Hit ko! Fire ni! Who dash monkey banana? |
MCMXCVIII:Spotlight ko, torchlight ni! She never had a career in the first place. |
paddyofboss:Does one commit sin, especially fornication unknowingly? Do we anticipate ourselves to sin? Are we not expected to put some serious efforts to avoid sin? Is our conscience not supposed to be bible-trained? "She knew she was still gonna have sex". Was she gonna have it unknowingly? |
paddyofboss:OP's issue is not that she prayed at all. Wat his issue is, is that she repeated the same action of sex after the prayer before dawn. Wat exactly does the bible say about such attitude? Repeatedly doing the wrong, shows our unreadiness and dishonesty towards that sin we pray about. James 4:4 says: "Adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is making himself an enemy of God". Let's assume the prayer of the lady, after the act is one of repentance. Then we can conclude that she is approaching God with faith, that through Jesus Christ's ransome sacrifice, she would be forgiven. Take note of "faith" in my sentence. How does faith operate? James 2:17-20 tells us how faith operates: "So, too, faith by itself, without works, is dead. 18 Nevertheless, someone will say: “You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” 19 You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder. 20 But do you care to know, O empty man, that faith without works is useless"? So u see? That lady is undecided or hypocritical. Do u disagree with these scriptures? |
OlufemiWhit:Really? And has God told us how he decides that, thru his word the bible? Does his word, the bible reveal to us how he decides such things? Do u think 2 Timothy 3:16 is relevant here? |
CanineOfJackal:Romans 10:2-3 explains it all: "For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to accurate knowledge. 3 ForFor because of not knowing the righteousness of God but seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God". Ur girl proclaims that she is an active Christian but does not accept God's moral standards of right and wrong. What she is doing is her own sel-induced sense of righteousness. That is the order of today's new generation "Christians" who tell u "how dare u question my actions. U don't know my relationship with God or my level of grace". Cc: CanineOfJackal. |
HellVictorinho:What has God sucked again na |
XxSabrinaxX:So let's see how God shows us wat to do and weda he exists? Firstly, God has 3 outstanding qualities: love, wisdom and justice. If we have come to know these qualities, then it would be easy to tell is really God extends his omniscient powers to our freewill. Since we now understand that God has to peer (or actively look into) our future actions, in order to tell if we would do wrong or right, let's see a book a history that tells us much about God. Isaiah 48:17 says: "This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel:“I, Jehovah, am your God,The One teaching you to benefit yourself,The One guiding you in the way you should walk". This scripture tell us who God is to mankind. That he alone has the ability to decide for us what is right or wrong. Would that mean that he is dictatorial? No. Why no? Verse 18 of Isaiah 48 says thus: "If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea". Take note of "if". Which means we are free to decide weda or not to accept his guidance. Would he punish us severely for not accepting his guidance? If he would, how would he do it? Firstly, he doesn't choose to peer into weda we wld choose good or bad. That is why he says "if". What proof supports this? If he would peer into the future of our actions are we still agents of freewill? No this is because we would no longer be free to exercise our will or choices. He would be invading into our privacy if he decides to peer into weda we would obey him or not. Again, wat would he stand to gain if he peers into weda we would act right or wrong? Let's see an event that showed that he doesn't peer into our choices to do right or wrong. Would u mind? |
XxSabrinaxX:Which means u believe in God's existence. Now if God exists, he would certainly want us to know he does exist and he would want us to know what we shld do and not do. Abi? |
XxSabrinaxX:But u believe that God is incompetent or whatever, right? |
XxSabrinaxX:Can we let the bible answer that question? I asked: can we, pls? |
XxSabrinaxX:I appreciate ur honesty. So despite ur freewill, u trusted her to guide ur steps. So let's see how wat God does with our freewill. Since Isaiah 46:10 tells us that God can foretell the future, would that mean that God would peer into our future to see if we would be obedient or disobedient ppl? Without going into semantics, to say God CAN foretell the future, certainly means that God has to actually peer into our future because that would certainly be the way to know wat our actions would be. Does God d that? Let's see wat the bible says. Should we? |
XxSabrinaxX:When When were a child, did u understand what was morally right or wrong or u trusted ur mother to direct ur action. I believe that was why u (as well as many other kids) asked many questions. |
XxSabrinaxX:The reasoning is in the fact that u understand the question and can give an answer to it. If the question question clear, so is the answer. Isn't it? |
XxSabrinaxX:So let's see wat the omniscient nature of God means. we must first answer the question of freewill. When God made man, he gave him the right to choose between right and wrong: Genesis 2:16,17. In fact, based on verse 17, man knew exactly the consequences of acting wrong. How far does this freewill stretch according to God's will? To answer that question, we have to first examine our everyday life. When ur mother tells u not to make friends with boys, do u have the choice to obey or disobey? Let's get this first. |
XxSabrinaxX:Now, omniscience is generally believed to mean that God knows everything that happens and that would happen. In fact, this belief appears to be strengthened by Isaiah 46:10 which says: "From the beginning I foretell the outcome,And from long ago the things that have not yet been done. I say, ‘My decision will stand,And I will do whatever I please". When God made man be gave man a law as shown in Genesis 2:16-17: "Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.” Now, the scripture tells us that man disobeyed God's command. Did God foresee that, considering Isaiah 46:10? Let's answer that. U following? |
XxSabrinaxX:OK, let's start with this issue of "omniscience" but u have to cross-check with the bible, in order to confirm the truth or otherwise of the scriptures. Are u good with that? |
eagleeye2:That's not how it was written. This is the correct version: "Hell hath no fury than love, to hatred turned, and heaven, no rage, than a woman scorned"....... William Congrieve "the mourning bride". |
XxSabrinaxX:I think but wouldn't only wise to answer ur question(s), since ur is ur questions that appear to solidify ur opinions on OP's thread. Unless u are not asking a question but only making a conclusion without a mind that seeks to know. The book of Proverbs 2:4,5 encourages u to ask ur questions. |
XxSabrinaxX:Really? Pls could u come out plain and ask ur questions. Pls don't refer. Just ask and let ty bible answer u. So shoot |
