Travelista:
Pele is a legend not only in soccer but in the sports world period; if he were a white man, he'd never get this kind of disrespect. It's takes an extremely narcissistic personality to walk around like a demigod the way Maradona does and think that his shite doesn't stink. Does he think we forgot his past transgressions? Just because Argentina chooses to overlook his shameful past doesn't mean everyone else has; he really needs to learn how to conduct himself with class. His ego is just unbearable.
What does this have to do with skin color?? didn't you see him also attack Platini who is also white? geez, you people are just paranoid about everything. Besides maradona and pele have had spats in the past.

By the way, did anyone see the North Korean crying during the national anthem for North Korea.

It's nice to see fellow nigerians get tired of the laxity and inefficiency synonymous to Nigeria-- our soccer team, universities, hospitals , you name it. We need to be more creative, productive and oriented towards solving problems. If that is to happen then we must change laws, policies, processes, often in order to improve them. I think some Nigerians are making their mark both at home and abroad. Education is the key if we don't want to be relegated to the background in the global order of business, technology, health, etc in the next decade. we must start as individuals to change things.

David, reading this thread was really enlightening, more power to your elbows.
My brother we are all extremely tired of our continent's failures, there is so much that one can take until enough becomes enough.

Massimo Bussaca is not a moi moi referee

This debate is not even worth it.

Show me anybody who thought the referee was racist and I will show you someone who only watches football when the World Cup is on.

Massimo Busacca is perhaps the heir to collina pierluigi in football refereeing
Wow!!! just when i was beginning to lose faith in Nigerians, someone restores my faith. This people don't know who the legendary Massim Bussacca is that refs champions league games and several other international games with lots and lots of international experience.

Maradona fires back at soccer greats
PRETORIA, South Africa -- Diego Maradona made stinging comments about fellow soccer greats Pele and Michel Platini on Wednesday after the pair criticized Maradona's performance as Argentina coach.

Maradona said he was not surprised by their comments and that "Pele has to go back to the museum."

As for Platini, "I always had a very distant relationship with him -- hello and goodbye. We know how the French are and Platini is French and he thinks of himself as being more than the rest of the world. I've never paid him any attention and I won't do it now."

Earlier, Maradona had criticized Pele, who led Brazil to three World Cup titles, for doubting Africa's ability to organize a World Cup.

Asked about Brazil, Maradona said Argentina's fierce South American rival was not tested by North Korea in the 2-1 win on Tuesday.

"Brazil played a relaxed game, too relaxed," Maradona said. "Korea never challenged them. For [goalkeeper] Julio Cesar, it would have been the same to shower or not after the game.

"Brazil is Brazil , and Dunga has done a good job. When more will be demanded of them, they will play better for sure."

Maradona said the general lack of scoring so far at the World Cup could be blamed partly on the teams' initial cautiousness.

"I'm not worried about the lack of goals. The goals will come and there are players here to make that happen," Maradona said. "Of course, in the first matches one is more careful than maybe one should be. The teams are studying their opponents, which is why there are fewer goals."

Maradona also assigned some of the blame to the much-maligned 2010 World Cup ball, saying the Jabulani was having "a large influence" on the low scores. He also asked the sport's authorities to pay more attention to the quality of the ball.

Are you guys crazyhuh racist ko, racist ni. Don't you know the FIFA rules, if you tackle a player without getting the ball, IT IS A FOUL and if you impede a player with a clear goal scoring opportunity, its a straight red card, isnt' that how Nemanja Vidic was always getting red cards.

EzeUche,
China is sitting on a powder keg. I read that around 2006, China had 50,000 rural uprisings (      ) and i was stunned, the average chinese might not know this because the govt. effectively censors the media to the point that in China, you cannot find Tianamen square when you use google in china. The people's republic of China is unsustainable and it would soon implode especially if they face a depression like Japan or the US in the 1930's or a drought, there would be whole societal upheavals and  even the communist party would be thrown out.

2)Send her packing with immediate effect
3)wait till your wifes gets home but if you really need a housemaid ,look for a God fearing person (even tho its a houseboy)

Be careful, some housemaids have a goal : destroyin' ones marriage

Stay blessed

PoliticsRe: Prostitution Banned In Abuja by davidif: 5:38am On Jun 16, 2010
Since Nigeria doesn't have the apparatus to enforce these, it would make prostitution more lucrative and the underworld (criminals) would get involved in it.
