We are talking about 10trillion here man 10 trillion in just 8years
Dude, we are talking about the economy here not the debt. Economic growth and debt are two different things. But If you insist on talking about debt then lets talk about one of the major reasons for the debt. Remember how George W. Bush turned a 155 billion surplus to a 1 trillion dollar deficit and also doubled the debt while he was at it? Remember how he cut taxes massively while fighting two wars and leaving the us economy in a mess which Obama had to spend to clean up? You want to talk about reckless spending then lets truly have an honest conversation.
Obama inherited two wars that he still had to fix an economy that was in a mess and yes he had to keep taxes low to help a sluggish economy that was still almost on life support so yes it was necessary for him to make investments in the economy cos doing nothing could have been a lot worse. So please stop talking about things you know nothing about and educate yourself before opening your mouth.

It's not like i condone drug dealing but be that as it may, i can't but say a prayer for all who have lost their lives in it. Moreover It is God who decides who to forgive, not you.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

This what happens when the Fed govt controls education. Education at the primary and secondary level should be funded by the local govt through property taxes. This model we are practicing of tmwaitng for the Fed govt to fund education is simply not working.

It's very sad that the education sector is not given the much needed attention it deserves in a country like Nigeria, imagine secondary school students sitting on bare floor to write their examinations.

Lasgidi Online got exclusive photos of SS2 Students of Government Day Secondary School Kofa Rini in Sokoto state sitting on bare floor to write their third term examinations.

This is coming from a state where the government just got approval of building a N700m palace for the sultan of the state.

And this is why schools should be funded by local govts and NOT the federal govt via local property taxes. It's more efficient.

The first high profile traitor to be convicted in Nigeria was Awolowo; he was convicted for trying to topple the government of the day in the 60s. He had treason running in his blood and eventually killed himself just to escape the consequences of another treason committed by him in the 80s

Ojukwu was a rookie general who did not evaluate the collateral damage of the war he went into, even though he fought against all odds(kudos to him), but you don't fight a war you can't win,its a normal principle. Even after fighting, the Chinese will always say 'death before dishonour',meaning I will rather die than be disgraced. If Ojukwu was really fighting a just or general cause, answer the following questions (1) why run away when connered? (2) Why run away after leading millions of your people to death? (3) Why come back to contest election in the same country he wanted out from? (4) Why collect military pension from the same country he hated? I can go on and on asking questions you have no answers to. You claimed he was revered by his people,Why did the same people reject him at the polls on three occasions?

Suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?
If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace.

Ignorant fools will continue ranting over what they do not know or understand. Do you all think that as shrewd as Igbos are they will easily forgive and elevate Ojukwu to the status of a legend if he truly ran away?
The worst fate and humiliation that would have befallen Igbos would be for Nigeria to capture or kill Ojukwu. The man was practically bundled into the plane in Ulli airstrip because he never wanted to leave. Just as declaration of Biafra was the collective will of Igbos, so too was Ojukwu 's departure for Ivory coast.
You ignorant kids can continue writing all the rubbish you want cause you do not know or understand what the man represents to Igbos.
Well he shouldn't have started what he couldn't finish.

You are making a mistake, Hittler fought a war of agression to create a German empire. When Germany was about to lose the war, he shot himself. Hittler had no other choice. There was no country he could have gone to and the world would not have been looking for him. Mussolini was captured and killed as he tried to escape. These men did not give their life ti anything, death was their way out of a tight situation

Ojukwu on the other hand flew into exile, was warmly recieved. While in exile, he became an international business man and travelled all over Europe and America a free man except in Nigeria

Effiong had nothing to fear, he called for a cease fire to armed struggle. He was just no 2 man and and not hated as much as Ojukwu. Effiong contacted Obasunjo and told him they were ready to throw in the towel and that was it. If Ojukwu had done that, he would have faced firing squad.

Onwuatuegwu was just someone who refused to accept that the war was over. He should have melted into the bushes and reappared when the coast was clear just like other Biafran commanders did. But he had other plans.

Heroes fight for their cause, but if that cause is facing certain defeat, there is no point throwing ones life away if it will make no difference.
Wrong!!! You simply don't start what you can't finish. That's part of being a leader. That's why they say a captain goes down with his ship. He doesnt jump on the first life boat leaving others behind. He stays till the very end.

A good commander looks out for his soldiers and he tries not to put them in harms way if need be. That's why they say war should be the last resort: In other words after you've exhausted every avenue which ojukwu did not. His ego simply won't allow an officer lower in rank like Gowon to be head of state and he put his personal feelings over the interest of the majority but some of you are so blinded by tribalism and hatred for your fellow man that you won't admit this.

There is a reason why they say you should never put someone with an axe to grind in a position of authority because his desire for vengeance might cloud his judgement and he might pursue his own agenda over serving the greater good.

When God wants to punish a people, he gives them Bad leader.
Well you can thank Major Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna for that. Where it not for him overthrowing the democratically elected civillina govt in 1966 we probably won't be in this situation today. Say what you want about Buhari and the millitary guys that have ruled us but were it not for the treason committed by Mr. Nzeogwu and his young Southern officers, they won't have smelled the presidency in the first place. We could have had smart leaders like Balewa, Zik and Awo instead of IBB and Abacha.

Another consequence of that coup was the biafra war. Had Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna and the young ibo officers not murdered Balewa and 22 other people (including some of their victims wives) there would have been no reprisals against the ibos in the north precipitating the biafra war. Heck, had Azikiwe intervened instead of cowering and has aguiyi ironsi not used the coup to seize power and become a dictator who knows how far along we could have been? You see how We human beings create our own problems? This is what you call action and consequences.

A LETTER TO THE BROKE GUYS.
.
-
Greetings all!
I will like to briefly to thank all who wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday.
Thank you my Darlings. *kisses*
-
Back to my main subject, THE BROKE GUYS.
I have noticed that one of the most frustrating moments in a man's life is when he is broke!
This era of financial scarcity always leave many men with feeling of emptiness,
No wonder the sighting of that word "BROKE" always touches the nerve in many guys, no wonder the insults, bullying and aggressiveness they exhibit as a response to any thread that is dedicated to such a dreaded word.
-
NOW Broke Guys listen, let me give you a bit of advice..
-
Every woman dream of a comfortable future, a future where even if she is not been treated like a queen, atleast she will not be a slave.
Most ladies grew up and saw the financial difficuly and suffering their mothers went through in the name of marriage and thereby took a resolution not to be part of that fate.
So before you blame them for rejecting you as a broke guy, remember this.
1. Being broken is NOT a permanent situation, work hard to change the status.
2. Even if you are an unemployed graduate, you can raise a capital and move into business.
-
FINANCIAL STABILITY AND SECURITY is an Important Requirement many women look at including me.
How can you expect a girl to reject a rich guy for you that live in a public yard and earn below #30,000 monthly?
The girl may really love you but she need a partner who is Financially stable,
Many ladies are not looking for a Dangote kind of guy but a Hardworking Financially Stable Guy.
and I see nothing wrong in that.
He may not have his own house, atleast let him afford a 1 or 2-bedroom flat.
He may not have a murano or quest, atleast let him afford a mercedes even if it is old model.
Women just want to be comfortable.
So Mr Broke guy,
Why not focus on improving your financial status instead?
From #30,000, aim to be getting atleast up to #70,000 and above, monthly.
From Public yard, aim at living in a comfortable apartment.
-
No woman want to suffer, YES the woman may have a good job or business, but she need an equal or higher earner than her as a partner.
You get the drift?.
ALSO.
Some Broke Guys are LAZY in nature!
Women do appreciate hardworking guys, we do.
But the lazy type! Hush.
There are many unemployed graduate who love staying indoors, sleeping and always online looking for a girl to bully.
Why are such guys suprised at being broke?
They are proud and lazy to humble themselves and learn an income earning skill.
Tomorrow, these are guys who will be calling girls "GOLD DIGGERS" for rejecting their lazy azz.
-
Dear broke guy, Wake up,
Work hard to improve your financial status,
Go and learn an income earning Skill, they are many out there to learn from.
My Final point is that a guy should be financial stable first before thinking of a serious relationship or marriage.
OK. Broke is not permanent to a hard working guy.
LOVE YOU ALL.
Thank you.
