If you have it big down there, and by big we not just talking about the bishop alone, but the bag that accompanies the bishop, you will admit that wearing trousers for too long is a chore. I switched to boxers (hadn't known of big boxers then so was always the tiny ones) but even at that I always have "situations" where my mum or family member out of embarrassment will tell me, "Nna ya office is open". the thing will always find reasons to sneak it's head out to receive fresh air. suddenly on one faithful day, I decided to tie a wrapper my mum gave me and I realised that heaven could be on earth here.

the wrapper allowed cross ventilation and ease if I went I wanted to polish the bishop in secret with good viscosity Vaseline. I was so happy that I made this discovery, anyway this began my obsession with tying wrappers all the time. my family members were always angry at this new development. how could a young man like me suddenly be acting like an old man. I refused to heed to these advise and as usual shrugged off statements of "one day I will regret it".

anyway I was thinking that one day will come later later in future, never did I know it would happen days afterwards, our tenant downstairs had a naming ceremony and the entire compound was filled to the brim with people. I was upstairs observing the events when I noticed my mum called me to rush downstairs so I collect something from her at the gate, I tried to change into a trouser but the devil encouraged me to go that way, by the way Na my papa house. thus I rushed down. I was racing at full speed towards the gate when suddenly the metal used to anchor one of the canopies, grabbed my wrapper and ripped it off. since it happened at full throttle, it removed everything and left me standing naked in a child dedication ceremony. I didn't know whether to continue running out into the street so I could find a pit and jump inside or whether I should enhance their viewing experience by trying to get my wrapper.

I was still thinking of what to do, when I felt a blackness. I fainted out of shame. I refused to come out for days and till today, years after. my family still reminds me of how I dishonored the family name.

anyway I have learnt to bear the heat in a tight boxers or trousers. God punish wrappers

You know A Nigerian. The poster just said 99% are foreign nationals does that sink into your empty brain?
And where did he get that 99% figure from? From his brain? Did he even look through a database to see the nationalities of the employees working there? Talk about jumping to conclusions.
PoliticsRe: "Indians And Kenyans Working At The Nigerian Embassy In Qatar" - Twitter User by davidif: 4:32pm On Aug 06, 2017
optimusprime2:
Dude it's back to basics before any other thing;
1- You walk before running...
The Nigerian embassy has to establish an impression that it's citizens are of utmost priority, before other things- esp to Qatar. I believe you know the United States has achieved that milestone to the whole world, so why should a country that has been severely underated by general Global statistics, copy the policies of a country that has established a reputation, isn't that crass Hypocrisy?
2- The United States has a unique outlook to diversity due to the base history of the United States, why should Nigeria emulate the norms and values of another country's history? Does Nigeria not have her own history, norms and values... is that not what the embassy stands for?
3- First of all the United States only employs citizens of the country their embassy is based in, not expats-except in the rare case of special skills I.e language proficiency, what business do Indians and Kenyans have doing in a Nigerian High commission (such that the entire work force apart from the ambassador and Consul are Indians and Kenyans) are they Qatari's, why didn't the High Commission place the vacancies for Arabs? (Don't you smell a rat here?)
4- The American passport is one of the strongest in the world as a result of consistent diplomatic standards... Why do you think Nigeria's passport ranks so low on charts? Don't you know it's due to cases like this? Probably they are cutting down running costs thereby creating inconsistent diplomatic standards, instead of creating an absolute nuisance like this, why can't the embassy be withdrawn?

I am deeply ashamed. .. Running an embassy like a bloody pub.
Actually you are very wrong. 2/3 of the work force in the American embassy in Russia are Russians. That's how it works. Majority of staff in a lot embassies are indigenous people so this is not really a special case. Embassies do it for multiple reasons. First, they will like to have workers with a local knowledge of the place and who speak the language. Secondly, it's cheaper and convenient to hire a local workforce except for high level diplomatic stuff.

They truly need to liberalize banking laws. There is too few banks and less competition amongst them hence high interest rates. There should be community banks and credit unions for local and community businesses. What we have right now are a small number of banks who almost act like a cartel.

I hate to reply your likes on issues that you are apparently ignorant of.
But I will do this for the benefit of those who interested in the contents of trending topics.
1. You accused Yorubas of worshiping the north.
2. Your lot accuse Yorubas of not supporting secession
3. Your lot blame Nigeria for the war.

On your first accusation.
From 1950s to 1999. Igbos were the ones in government with the north playing second fiddle. First Republic Zik was a ceremonial president. Balewa was the PM with all the Executive Powers. In the second Republic again. Shagari was the Executive president. Ekweme the vice. In 1999 Yorubas rejected the PDP as a northern contraption the igbos abandoned Ojukwu and went with the North. so tell me who had been worshiping the north with votes? The first alliance between north and west was 2015. But you forget your history of political subservience to wine about Yorubas status in the present govt. We should have stayed with GEJ and be content with just 2 substantive ministers. Omobola Johnson and Adèsina.

You accused Yorubas of not supporting secession. I will let your forefathers answer you from the grave
In 1953 the NPC under the leadership of my good friend, the late Sardauna, threatened to secede from the federation unless their 6-point proposals were adhered to. I had to use personal diplomacy. We had been personal friends since 1940. So, I saw Sir Ahmadu Bello and prevailed upon him that the unity of this country was greater than himself and myself and the other people too helped so that the North shifted grounds and agreed and so the country was saved. That was in 1953.
Again, however, when the 1954 constitution conference started, my good friend, Chief Obafemi Awolowo tabled a motion to the effect that in the new constitution, provision should be made that any state which feels like seceding should do so. I was opposed to it and said ‘no’ and said that once we have a federation, we are indivisible and perpetual. That was when we began to use that expression - ‘The Indivisibility and perpetuity of the federation’ - and that to secede would amount to treason. And so, a debate ensued.
Zik and his Igbo travellers won and Nigeria became indissoluble till today!

You blamed Nigeria for the civil war.
As per legal principle of indissolubility established by Zik, Igbos gave Nigeria the legal armour to prevent secession at all cost. Igbos killed leaders of other regions and celebrated the killings in the streets of the North. Ironsi promulgated Decree No 34 of 1966 abolishing the autonomy the region's had been enjoying. There is something about laws of warfare, it is called casus belli. cause of war. Each party to a war has a reason for the war. you have yours the north have theirs. at the end Nigerian law prevailed against Ojukwu. So you have a choice before a war. plan to fight and when you are starved run away with millions of dead bodies in your wake. or avoid war through international arbitrament. see Cameroon Vs Nigeria.

So as per our documented history of 60 years the east have been the ones worshiping the north. The West were in opposition to both the North and the East
as per who caused the war.
Ojukwu caused it. With his stubbornness. If he knew how to run. He should have done that earlier. If fought gallantly to the end he would join those who died for the cause they believed in. cowards!

They were received by the chairman Caretaker committee, Nnewi North ,Prince Chukwudi Orizu, at Messianic Faith Assembly, Uruagu Nnewi.

Ngozi Obileri reports that this is their fourth visit to Anambra state in their quest to find the lost children of Israel.

According to the DNA result, it has been scientifically proven that the igbos are from Israel, from the clan of Gad precisely.
