patriotic007: OBJ and GEJ had a meeting in Kenya in which OBJ was seen smiling when he came out of the meeting,....Am sure GEJ has promised him oil Blocks and juicy contracts now suddenly he becomes so concerned about PDP southwest and their fortunes,....Very soon he will start campaigning for GEJ,....When he wrote that useless letter, people where saying he meant well for nigeria unknown to them that the old man just is after his pocket,...EVERY MAN HAS A PRICEIs he that poor that he will because of some billions compromise his stand emphatically stressed in that Open Letter? I don't think money is the issue here. I stand to be enlightened please. |
Billyonaire: If OBJ decamps to APC, he will be under Buhari and Tinubu. So, it must be something else.Exactly my thinking! I don't see OBJ descending so low to serve under Tinubu and Buhari... its a scary thinking for me |
It seems Obasanjo continues to show concern on the situation of things in PDP and Nigeria at large. I hope his intervention yields. If this works, Nigeria may be on her path back to goodness because PDP remains the only TRUE national party we have got in Nigeria. |
Anyway, the Coach may not know anything about the Super Eagles truly but the players know a lot about the team. So, there is nothing to be happy about on this. Argentina 2-3 Nigeria ![]() |

pseudonomer: My opponent stance is NYSC posting should limited to their zone. They can actually avoid the few states that is less than 6, and still keep the posting into other regions.Ok sir. Thanks and Goodluck! |
pseudonomer: Thank you, I will say again, the states affected are few, the few states can be reinforced with security men guiding the few corp members that choose to serve there. You can still re-deploy if you want to, so no one is being sent on a suicide mission, and I think the Federal Government has stop deploying the corpers to the affected states recently. But making North serving in North and South to serve in South, I don't see any the need for the NYSC programme again.Noted. Security men you say? Lol Do you know the issue of security in some part of the nation is so worst that only a military reign can curb? If it takes this to protect Corp members, then that amounts to a huge cost in running the programme and mind you, that does not necessarily translate to total peace. If you are suggesting redeployment, i think that affirms your opponents' proposition. |
Good Afternoon Ladies & Gentlemen, I must commend the write-ups of the four debaters. They are wonderful especially that of Oluwatola5, quite persuassive! My question goes to the first speaker of FUNAAB, Pseudonomer. You clearly told us that the killings of Corp members by the banned Islamic sect. in the North is part of sacrifice to the nation's unity. My opponents may want to argue that some corp members are usually slaughtered by the terrorist° group called “Boko-Haram” when posted to some areas in the north of Nigeria. I want to say every scheme and programmes have its challenges and to build a great nation, to have one Nigeria, we all have sacrifices to make, and this is one of the sacrifices we are to make if we really want a One Nigeria.Don't you think the lapses in the programme that could be corrected is the reason for those killings and not sacrifice as you paint it to be? and going by what Oluwatola suggested, don't you think a review of the programme will bring solace to this? Also you referenced Madiba in your arguement. Don't you think it is better to die fighting for something that brings unity than being sent on a suicide mission to an unknown land? Remember, those Corp members didn't choose to go there themselves. Thanks! |
Are questions not going to be entertained on the OAU vs FUNAAB thread? This is 03:25pm |
