I am in a dilemma. There is a lady I met and we started getting along. We reside in different states. We chat, call and video call. All seems good and rosy!
I was serious with her… pure intentions and all. It got to a point where she has to go for NYSC. I assisted her and got her to serve in the state I reside which was also her choice.
She came and somehow got a PPA in my area so we started staying together. However, the relationship had a major issue with beliefs as her dad wouldn’t allow her marry someone with my belief. So it looked like a dead end but there are emotions from both ends.
The issue now is she answers some calls, comes back late from work and then sleeps out sometimes. Like yesterday, she said they were going for a school reunion stuff and a guy came to carry her in his car. She didn’t come back till today.
My issue is how humane will it be to ask her to leave my house? knowing how involved I was in getting her to serve in the state and all? How harsh could that be?
If I don’t do that, I get caught up in webs of several hurts. The calls, late night returns and all. Of course it’s is very likely na guy she dey get all these stuff with. I have asked he before and she said if she has a guy would he allow her to be staying with another guy, but you know babes na! She could have even told the guy I am her uncle from the mothers side 😃😃
One mind is saying I should forget been humane and ask her to leave. Like that is what is left for me to do as I am unable to keep up with all she has been doing. If I leave her to stay, more issues for me. Like I’m drowning in jealousy. She closes by 9 and sometimes come home by 11pm
What do I do please?

We only meet and greet whenever we see in school and also chat once in a while. So fast forward to the convocation day, I met him and he kept complementing my suit, then that was all. It is a statement we make to declare to the world about our alignment to God and His kingdom. I need you to understand this, the world we live in is a world enshrined in darkness. You may be wondering what I mean by this, after all, we have sunlight and the moon plus the numerous artificial lights the intelligence of men have created. However, I am coming from the angle of spiritual light. Jesus made a reference to this in Matthew 5:13-16: “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. [14]“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15]No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. [16]In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. NLT.
The teaching of Jesus regarding salt and light as I taught three years ago is that we are the standard of the world. We direct people to the right path. If people ever want to know God, they should know Him through our lives. We serve the true God and He is light. Therefore, we should be his representatives in two ways.
1. We represent God through our deeds: Matthew 5:16
Jesus taught us that one of the ways we act as salt and light of the world us through good deeds. We are urged to be good towards people whether we practice the same religion or not. God loves everyone and He has made salvation available for everyone. Matthew 5:43-45: “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. [44]But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! [45]In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. NLT. Also, James reinforced this in his teaching by emphasising on the importance of good deeds. James 2:14-18: What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? [15]Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, [16]and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? [17]So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. [18]Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” NLT.
2. We represent God by speaking about Him: Acts of the Apostles 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” NLT.
Good deeds is an important way of telling the world about God but apart from that an equally important means of evangelizing is by preaching the gospel of Christ to the world. People will not believe what we carry without hearing about God. If they see our deeds only, some of them may not know the reason behind it although it will attract them to us. It is our duty to leverage on the attraction made possible by our deeds to speak to them about our God. The ministry of evangelizing the gospel is for humans and not angels. Romans 10:8-17: In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; It is on your lips and in your heart. “And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: [9]If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10]For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. [11]As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” [12]Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. [13]For “Everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.” [14]But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them [15]And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” [16]But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, “lord, who has believed our message?” [17]So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. NLT.
Therefore, as believers, we should be conscious of the fact that it is our duty to preach the gospel of Christ through our words (evangelism) and deeds. Finally, if we have anyone here who has not given his or her life to Jesus, I urge you to do so now because He has already paid the price for your salvation through his death and resurrection. If you are ready, say this prayer wholeheartedly; Lord Jesus, I confess you as my Lord and saviour today, please save me and be my lord and bring me into your fold. Amen. If you have recited the prayer wholeheartedly, I congratulate you and I welcome you to the family of God. Make sure you join a bible believing church as you start your journey in Christ .

I was 28yrs old when I married. An orphan who grew up with her older brother's wife. I accepted to marry because all my life, I had known hard labour. My brother's wife used me to raise her kids and work if you understand what I mean. When marriage came, I saw it as an escape route from that lifestyle. Unknown to me that I will be feeling the way that I do now. Few days ago, I thought of killing myself because of what my life has become. My husband was nice before, now I don't know what to tag him . I have prayed and I am tired . He just does not care about me but I know he is not cheating. He gives me no support in the small provision business I do but for like 3yrs now I notice that he has change. The only time that he gave me money to add to my business was when I first started it. Some times as a mother and wife, I take things from the store that we use at home. So whenever this shop runs down, he never gives me money, I am always taking loans to fund, then when I finish repayment, I take again. Never buys my clothes or give me money for my hair. When I ask he says he opened shop for me. I have been taking loans to fund the shop because I don't have a helper but my husband looks the other way. We live in a student environment, a student came to buy pure water and stole my phone, my husband didn't bother or think of buying a new one. He's a plumber, whenever he comes back from work and it's like there's a bill, he tells me he doesn't have money. He hides his phone from me so that I don't see alerts. I wear clothes, ppl see me then praise him assuming that he's responsible for them but this man has not given me money for clothes in years. Not even for pants or pads.
I have reported him to ppl but he comes back even worse. He gives me money for food on Saturdays. So I cook a pot of soup and stew which the money will carry...imagine my kids taking rice and stew to school Monday to Friday because they have to eat eba as dinner. This is where I sometimes secretly take them to the shop to change meals. I complained and he said that they have to eat what he has as they are even lucky to see food.
I asked him if he was ready for marriage and he said YES. He married me well. Did everything. But I hate that I married him.
Please, I don't know what to do. I am overthinking because I am already in a 190k debt I don't know how to pay or when. His brother abroad reads my messages then ignore. My brother is old I can't ask him for anything. I feel I married a wicked man. Now we hardly even talk without quarreling.
