First of all, let me tell you who I am.

I don't go to church unless its a cross-over night. Thats who I am. You are free to judge me.

Now to the reason behind the questionic title above, (Is it proper for a Christian couple to watch porn together before having sex?), last week sunday, in the morning, I was inside my room having my usual sunday-lic rest in preparation for the new week, when the loud speakers of a C.A.C church adjacent my house started blarring in its typical we-are-doing-sunday-school-service things.

Frustrated and angry at the same time, I grabbed my phone and begin to play game. Suddenly, I heard someone, probably from the congregation, asking the sunday school teacher the question I posted above and that was what caught my interest. I was curious to know what answer the teacher would give.
But unfortunately, I couldn't hear anything again. I guess the teacher had decided to answer the question without using microphone.


So, can someone help me to answer that question? Biblically or Morally. Thanks.

Today is Nigerian Armed Forces Remembrance Day!

In Nigeria, Armed Forces Day, also known as Remembrance Day, is celebrated on 15 January. It was formerly marked on 11 November of every year to coincide with the Remembrance Day (Poppy Day) for the World War II veterans in the British Commonwealth of Nations, but it was changed to 15 January of every year in Nigeria in commemoration of the surrender of Biafran troops to the Federal troops on 15 January 1970 thus signalling the end of the Nigerian Civil War.

The day is marked with a Remembrance Day parade at the Cenotaph in Abuja and in the 36 state capitals. The ceremony includes 21 gun salute, playing of the Last Post, a minute's silence, laying of wreaths and release of pigeons to symbolise peace.


In the past month armed forces remembrance day emblems have been on sale across the country. Proceeds of the sale of the remembrance emblem go to the Nigerian Legion.

The Nigerian Legion is the Nigerian association of ex-servicemen, i.e former members of the Nigerian Army, Navy and Air Force.

Officers and men of the armed forces are trained to fight and kill. When they retire, they discover that there are no jobs for them (some of them have been in the armed forces since they were teenagers and military work is all they know). Others were forced to retire from the armed forces due to injuries sustained in battle. The Legion helps them to integrate into society and take care of themselves.

By law the Legion is permitted to operate certain businesses in order to raise money for its members. Members of the legion also serve as security guards at government establishments (you often see them in their brown uniforms). The Legion also raises money through the sale of Armed Forces and Remembrance Day emblems.

In recent years (especially since the return to civilian rule) members of the Legion have gone through great hardship while trying to collect their pensions and gratuity. Sometimes their pensions are not paid for many months. At other times, legionnaires, who could be as old as 60, 70, or 80 years old are made to travel long distances and queue in the hot sun, all in the name of pension verification exercise. Many legionnaires have died during this process.

My only surprise is that some people actually advised him not to concede!

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed how he was advised against accepting defeat in the 2015 presidential election.

Jonathan also declared that the election was marred with some irregularities, including the difficulty he faced before he could vote in his native Otuoke, Bayelsa State home.

The ex-president said he conceded defeat principally because it was his belief that his ambition should not lead to loss of lives and property as it was the case in previous elections.

The revelations are contained in the former President’s book, “My Transition Hours”, which was presented in Abuja yesterday on his 61st birthday.

Jonathan said he turned down the advice by the then Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Attorney-General of the Federation and Justice Minister Mohammed Bello Adoke; Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka, who was a compere at the book launch; and his Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, Warpamowei Dudafa.

He writes: “They were recommending sundry alternatives, but I was quiet in the midst of their discussions. I hugged my thought, figuring out how to do that which was best for the country. My personal interest was receding rapidly and the interest of Nigeria looming large. I excused myself and left the sitting room. I walked into my study. Even there, my mantra was a strong circle around me, supporting and comforting me. Let the country survive. Let democracy survive. My political ambition is not worth people being ‘soaked in blood’.”


On how and why he called to concede victory to Buhari, he wrote: “More results flowed in and I could not wait anymore. The announcement of the final result could take issues out of all our hands. It was time for me to take action and bring peace to the nation. I felt I was destined by God at that point in time to inject the peace serum and douse the palpable tension in the country.

“I reached out for his telephone and placed a call through the State House operators at about 4:45pm. A peace I had never felt since my political sojourn descended on me. It showed me where I had been in the past sixteen years and where I was then. I smiled at the thought of what I was about to do. I waited calmly for the person at the end of my call to answer.

“My Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, sought my permission to tweet my phone conversation with Buhari. I obliged and he did. The country was no longer waiting for the declaration of the election results. The nationwide tension automatically dissipated as through a red hot piece of iron had been dipped in a bowl of water. Thereafter, I addressed the nation.”

So now the rule of law must prevail abi? I am sure you all were the ones criticising the just concluded elections where there was a run off. Inec did everything according to the law yet you all criticised INEC because it favoured APC and said INEC was in favour of APC.

Its baffling how short Nigerians Memories are. Its been less than 5 years since PDP almost bankrupted this country with their overdose looting and Nigerians are clamouring for the same party with the same thieves back to power. Even if you don't like APC why not support other parties instead of PDP?

Nigerians are confused and you will continue to get bad leaders because it is what you deserve.

I was recently posted to a different unit at my work place, under a very cheerful boss lady. She has been very good to me like she chats me up all the time and takes me out to lunch most of the time. But lately, I noticed she's been giving me attitude, she's been doing that to the point it's affecting my work around her.
She has become so stiff/rigid around me like I'm always uncomfortable and tiptoeing around her, she stops taking me to lunch or sharing stuffs with me, she starts to give me work to do with no instruction and when I turn to ask her question I see she doesn't even want to make eye contact, like she doesn't want me to ask her questions or be around her at all. I once sent her a text message that I feel she's giving me attitude and it makes Me to not know how to react around her and that I am sorry if have done anything wrong. But she did not reply.

Today she gave me a job to do which happens to be confidential but gave me no heads up about it and when I'm done I went and submitted the job On the table in her office with her rival present there.
She later came to me to scold me badly that I have changed and that iam misbehaving. she said a lot of things which made me feel bad, but I'm sure she was the one that has changed.

I don't know how to explain to her how I feel without having any quarrel or upsetting her, Because it's almost looking as if she want us to have a quarrel or something.
