OBAGADAFFI:Access in the beginning was never kind to her shareholders. It later acquired Intercontinental Bank which was as well never kind to her shareholders. Now it is acquiring Diamond which was the most wicked Bank to her shareholders. What then do you expect other than a new Access Bank with (wickedness to shareholders)³? |
kolaish:Couldn't have been better said. The number of purely FA and TA based predictions which failed here is very huge. Most rallies here are never foreseen by the FA or TA. They just catch everyone unawares and before it is realized, the whole thing has died down. |
GonFreecss1:That is actually the strongest force keeping its price stubbornly high always. |
STANBIC's OS figure is 10bn units unlike GTB and Zenith that are almost 30bn each. I think this creates a relative scarcity for STANBIC as well as a higher EPS for a smaller PAT hence a stronger upward pull for its price on NSE. Midas Stockbrokers once explained to me that most of IBTC's 10bn shares are in the hands of foreign individuals who hardly sell. This is also another factor. |
aremso:By the bolded, you remind me of the days when people defended Ribadu's/OBJ's selective anti-corruption war with the argument that those who were being hounded weren't really innocent, hence the selective war should be allowed to continue in the hope that one day a government headed by OBJ's enemy would come and hound those equally corruption ridden OBJ friends deliberately ignored by Ribadu. Has that enemy government to OBJ come now and will it really ever come going by the political realignments that characterize election seasons and the complicity of the electorate themselves? If you happen to have owned one of the banks selectively hacked down by SLS only for you to turn round and see others which cooked bigger books about their results left unharassed hence continue business as usual, would you have taken the position you currently take on this issue? It is like a school teacher who gave a homework to his pupils and tells them ahead that whichever of them scores below 40% would be flogged. But on marking the homework the next day he flogs some of the below 40% scorers and left the others, and when querried he asks, "Did anyone of those I selectively flogged really score up 40%?"Then parents during the next PTA meeting bring up the matter and in response the principal tells them not to worry as another teacher will one day be employed and he too will punish those whom the present one refused to flog even though they fell short of the 40%. It obviously means that the teacher flogged those pupils not really because of their scores but for something else entirely. Please if you happen to have your children in such a school, will you still leave them there? |
Mpeace:Would you mind explaining why HONYWELL shares haven't responded likewise to the cheapness of wheat? |
aremso:While SLS was First Bank MD, the bank had up to N200bn non-performing loan burden, but on becoming CBN governor shortly afterwards, his hammer which landed on Oceanic and others deliberately missed First Bank. Why? Secondly, the way and manner by which SLS nationalized Bank PHB, Spring Bank and one other one betrayed a hidden agenda thus wasn't therefore about the alleged atrophying states of the banks. Recall that he had earlier set a deadline all by himself for them to recapitalize only for him to just wake up from the wrong side of his bed more than a month to that deadline and nationalize them on the exuse that even if he had waited till the deadline they still wouldn't have been able to meet up. Did he have supernatural powers or ESP? Why preempt a process set in motion by his own self without the input of anyone else? By that action alone, shareholders of those banks lost more than the $20bn he later accused Jonathan of mismanaging. Not that I blame him though. It was all the fault of Jonathan who tolerated anything, however evil and unwholesome, just in order to please whoever appeared to matter to his second term ambition. If not, I still can't understand why GEJ didn't sack the man for abuse of office as soon as he committed the havoc of preempting a deadline which he himself set for certain banks to recapitalize. |
Crysthaniel:And when the rich man asked Abraham allow him return to earth to warn his family members, did Abraham tell him that such was impossible or that he would have allowed him return to earth if people would listen? And did Jesus waking up of Lazarus to life convince those who had shut their minds? Revelations 6:9-11 tells you clearly that the souls of the dead were alive in heaven asking for justice against those who killed their bodies but couldn't kill their souls as Jesus already said in Matthew. |
Crysthaniel:Where did 2 Kings 2 tell you he was taken to? |
Peacefullove:Peaceful love indeed! Violenthate and Violentenvy, you are just demonstrating the agony of defeat and embarrassment. Until you answer my question as to how a grave can be buried inside another grave I won't take you seriously. When you finish answering that question then you can call me for further discussion. |
CAPTIVATOR:As per the bolded; first and foremost, it was Paul that appointed sheperds in the instance you referenced in Acts 20:28 and not Jesus who was no longer around. Secondly, the Shepherds in question here were chosen by Paul for the Ephesian Church congregation only thus wasn't in charge of the other churcuhes outside Ephesus which had their own separate church elders. But your organization has a single set of Sheperds in New York dictating for all your individual Kingdom Hall congregations everywhere. That definitely is not similar to the pattern of the early church planted by the Apostles which rather operated congregationalism. For 1 Peter 5:2-4; if you read from the very beginning of the book you'll see there that Peter was referring to the group of elders of the individuals church parishes scattered all over different locations. Both instances show that there was no central authority among the churches unlike your organization which now operates a centralized leadership. |
TATIME:You have become a laughing stock in the minds of serious viewers of this thread without knowing it. So you are still deluding yourself with the bolded after claiming on behalf of your heretic publishing company that Jesus asked Paul to turn back on his way to Damascus to go and receive teachings from the disciples in Jerusalem before becoming qualified for God's approval...a belief which had been shown to be a clear undisguised heresy going by Galatians 1:16, 17, 19 and 22? You still believe the bolded despite after claiming that Revelations 14:6 as an evidence of your belief that the meek alone will inherit the earthly paraside without being able to respond to the question of whether there would still be different tribes languages and races and final judgement in that paradise going by the rest parts of that verse the one next to it? I am only using your comments as comic relief. |
Janosky:So natural Jews are not part of mankind hence the belief that the declaration that "the144,000 are taken from mankind" can't mean they are natural Israelites? You mean those 8 unstable New Yorkers taught you that Israelites are not a subset of mankind? Even if the listed tribes are not the original twelve, does it change the fact that those of Levi and Joseph are Isreaelite tribes all the same? Did that verse in Revelation say anything about originality or otherwise of the tribes mentioned there in? Are you trying to speak where the Bible is quiet? Or have your 8 manipulation experts taught you that the tribes of Joseph and Levi have become gentile tribes on account of not being mentioned in Numbers? And mind you that the use of the word "tribe" in Israel later came to depart in meaning from the patriarchal idea premised on the twelve sons of Jacob as evidenced in the Numbers 1:14-16 you referenced. So why should it be a course for worry that the tribes listed in Revelations do not exactly conform to the sons of Jacob? And the greatest and most amusing irony of all your inconsistencies and self contradictions is in the fact that you believe that the tribes mentioned there are not to be taken in the literal sense but believe that the 144,000 premised on that very verse should be taken literally. Can't you see you are confused? You either chose literal interpretation or figurative one. It smacks of duplicity and heretic mindset to mix it up just because you want to sell a preconceived doctrine. |
Crysthaniel:In John 1:21 it was John the Baptist that denied being Elijah out of his own accord for the sake of humility. But Jesus Himself had said it clearly in Matthew 11:14. So between Jesus and John the Baptist Himself, who was in a better position to tell us who John the Baptist was? Recall that John the Baptist also saw Jesus and couldn't identify Him at first. All these tell you how limited John The Baptist's knowledge and awareness were, as compared with those of Jesus. Also in Malachi 4, the prophet begins with "The Lord Almighty says....." and in verse 5 he added that "..... I will send you the Prophet Elijah..." Was John the Baptist's testimonial about himself more reliable than those of God and Jesus about him? Visions could be either in the form of a trance (That which Peter had in Acts 10:11-16) or a real life experience (eg that which Cornelius had in Acts 10:3) Visions are not only limited to things yet to take place. In Acts 9 God had in a vision told Ananias what had already happened to Paul earlier on on his way to Damascus. In addition Paul's experience on his way was in the form of a vision because those traveling with him only heard Jesus voice but could not see him. But that doesn't mean that Jesus who was speaking was not real life. In the transfiguration vision the disciples seeing and hearing Moses and Elijah speak with Jesus doesn't mean it wasn't real life. Well, I don't see anything in Gal 3:24 or Hebrews 1:1-3 that directly or indirectly suggests that the transformation experience was trance like, and by extension the other verses you referenced. I already addressed the issue of Elijah's letter to Jehoram. Elijah was still around in Isreal and Judah while Jehoram reigned. If you hadn't picked that verse in isolation but had compared it with 2 Kings 1:17-18 to 2 Kings 2:1, you would not have assumed that the letter was an evidence that Elijah was not taken up to heaven in denial of what the scriptures clearly and unequivocally stated. |
rebekah2011:And what is the level of an all time certainty of the bolded? |
Coolcash1:You said my mind. There is no such thing as legacy on NSE talkless of an enduring one. |
Tolktob:It is really like 150%. I recall that FCMB went from 1.5 to a peak of 3.75 within those two crazy weeks... and that is really 150%. |
Mpeace:I think I can see where you didn't get me well perhaps due to my construction. By my use of "assumed" I was actually referring to the perception that a candidate carries more bull prospects than another rather than the possibility of a massive general bull. |
Mpeace:We were all here in the market together then. Check the January 2018 days of this thread and you'll see my comments. I got FCMB at N1.5, Fidelity at an average of N2.2, DF at N9.5 all in December of 2017 and when the bull came calling early 2018 I made a kill. However, for the rest of the year, virtually no bull again but bears with bear bear all over the place....so much that our initial boasts to sack our employers soon all vanished. Just imagine that last year bull to have taken on the stocks turn by turn..... some of us would have retired at very young ages. |
Realistically speaking, a general bull is not the best. Geometric profit is made when the bulls take on individual stocks on turn by turn basis. This is why I would want the candidate whose victory will not lead to a massive shortlived general bull assuming there is really such between them as being speculated without any concrete basis. |
TATIME:Just as JWs try to make their gullible members appear spiritually strong by teaching them unscriptural doctrines like non participation in politics, non celebration of festivals, non p celebration of birthdays, etc. What is stringent about doctrines like; no punishment for sins, no need to pay offerings, no punishment for child abusers as long as the culprit can make sure no other person sees him while doing it, freedom to get drunken, fasting is unchristian, spiritual power which requires high level of purity is no longer important, etc? You claim other Christians believe in Trinity, birthday celebrations, Christmas, etc yet you still say they don't have uniformity of belief. Aren't you confused? What then is uniformity? And you think atheists consider your heretic organization favourably? A group like yours which seeks praises and commendations from among those who hate Jesus and deny his sacrifice and Messiahship can't be a truly christian group. |
TATIME:Here we go again picking verses and interpreting them in isolation. Unfortunately neither you have been able to explain how Peter and the other two disciples recognized Elijah and Moses whom they had not previously seen. However, God had the omnipotence to make it so. Ironically, you self styled believers however deny the existence of signs which you say the dispensation is past. Peter and the rest were given that transfiguration sign not because they disbelieve in signs like you and your organization but because Jesus knew they had the faith unlike you who base your hope on your human efforts just like the Pharisees who for that very reason Jesus refused to show them any sign. I can see your conjectures on Elijah again. Please which encyclopedia did you get it from? Your attempt to use 2 Chronicles 21:12 to paint a picture that Elijah was only taken to another location on earth is pooh-poohed by the following facts: 1 If Elijah sent the letter to Joram from another destination, then the person who got it from him for delivery to Jehoram would have known where he was hence where he was taken to becoming known. 2. Elijah was very much around in Israel and Judah during the reign of King Joram of Israel whose reign went concurrently with that of Jehoram of Judah who received the said letter....Compare 2 Kings 1:15-17 with 2 Kings 8:16-17 and then juxtapose them with your 2 Chronicles 21:12 then you'll see yet another blunder you made by taking that 2 Chronicles 21:12 in isolation again. As usual, you picked 1 Corinthians 15:50 in isolation of the whole chapter. In John 3:3 Jesus declaration was in the sense that no one had gone to heaven and come back down to earth to be able to tell people what they saw there, hence He alone who came down from there could tell how heaven is. Recall that in the previous verses the issue under discuss was about who could tell people on earth heavenly truths hence it would take someone going up and returning to earth to be able to do so. Elijah did not come back down to live on earth again after being taken up hence that doesn't in anyway contradict Jesus'words there. In 1 Corinthians 15:45 Paul was only using figurative language. If not for your foolishness and Zombification by a publishing company, how could anyone have taken a sinless Jesus for the actual sinful Adam Just because Paul used Second Adam metaphorically there? Until you answer the question as to where Moses and Elijah returned from to appear at Jesus'transfiguration, you remain a slowpoke and buffon sheepishly following 8 unstable minded men in a far away New York. I wish you also explain how a grave could be buried in another grave if 'lake of fire' means grave as you are told by those eight manipulators in chief. |
TATIME:I know you are an expert in goalpost shifting. Anytime you are caught in the web of your own self contradiction you resort to disturbing our ears with how your organization is growing as if that is the topic of discussion. Why not respond to the question I raised? In a previous thread you accused me of being Hairyrapunzel. Later on this one you said you were addressing me not Hairyrapunzel. But now again I am Hairyrapunzel once more. See how you reflect your organization's attitude of going from one belief to another and then returning to the previous belief again in the name of seeing lights of different colours and brightness? |
TATIME:What I discovered from the honest and frank JWs (such are extremely rare though) I have come across in life is that most of them fell for the Watchtower's doctrines because they didn't have a deep knowledge gained from a personal independent minded study of the Bible before JWs came their way in life hence they were easily blown away as their foundation was not solid. You are obviously a very good example hence your bowing to them. With all the various questions I have placed before you here about how JWs teachings either contradict the scriptures due to taking verses in isolation or not being in the scriptures at all in actual fact, coupled with the fact that you ignore them totally for lack of any scrpture based response, it is clear that you have realized that you were deceived into the wrong group but don't just want to admit it due to Stockholm syndrome. If the names of the tribes are not to be taken literally as you say, then why take literally the figure "144,000" which is premised on those very tribes? Does that make sense? You already have argued in a previous comment that heaven was not originally meant for human habitation. But now you say the 144,000 will rule with Jesus from heaven. When and where in the scriptures did God later change His mind to allow humans inhabit heaven? |
Crysthaniel:Daniel 12:13 says And you, Daniel, be faithful to the end. Then you will die, but you will rise to receive your reward at the end of time. The use of 'but' there makes it clear that there is a total difference between the state of death and the post-resurrection state. Moses had died physically and his body was in grave. Elijah did not die physically but was taken up to heaven but returned in the form of John The Baptist (Matthew 11:14) who later died a physical death and his body buried. But these two men appeared during the transfiguration of Jesus and His disciples saw them. Now, I want you to explain how come Moses and Elijah who were in the grave in both body and soul (according to you) appeared back on earth at some point many years after their physical deaths. Kindly explain this. I am all ears |
TATIME:You are trying to use sophistry to save face from the tight corner you have boxed yourself into. But you are not even very skillful at sophistry. If we are to follow your deliberate misinterpretation of the 1000 years = 1 day in God's eyes, then why do you keep arguing that all the atrocities which your organization committed less than 100 years ago are long past hence you people shouldn't be appraised with those acts? Your allegiance declaration for Adof Hitler happen during the Second World War which ended less than 100 years ago which, on the 1000-years-to-one-day scale, equates to happening less than 1 day ago, i.e. it happened today...yet you claim it is past. Hehehehehe...... I am rolling on the floor again with laughter. If you take my advice that you go and put your commedy talents to good use where it is really needed you will make a lot of money within a very short time to be able to bail out your organization from its current crippling financial bankruptcy which is making them disposing nearly half of their assets including their headquarter building in New York. |
Crysthaniel:If you are building on the previous response I gave you, then you should have rather asked where their souls are and where their bodies are. Now let me ask you; are their souls and bodies together right now? If yes, then where? |
TATIME:JWs' knowledge is one? Please why are you wasting your comedy skills online when some commedians are daily raking in millions with their very dry jokes? How can an ever changing knowledge be one? I am laughing here and rolling on the floor! You will not kill me with laughter before my time. Chai! JWs have opposing knowledge hence they have separated into at least 1,000 groups. Even among the residual ones they don't really share the same belief freely. Rather they are coerced to. A colleague of mine in the office who is a JW once confessed that during Bible study sessions in kingdom Halls, airing of an opinion divergent from the one dictated by the GB is not allowed and could lead to being disfellowshiped and shunned. |
TATIME:Those 144,000 persons, according to Rev. 7:5-8 will be composed of 12,000 persons from each of the 12 tribes of Israel hence no none Israelite will be among. How then would they come from Among JWs who are neither Isreaelites nor Christians? Mathew 5:5 speaks of the earthly benefit of the meek. Does that now mean that only the meek will be in paradise? Then where will those with all the rest attributes like purity of heart, peace making, poor in spirit, persecuted, hunger and thirst for righteousness, merciful, etc be? Can't you see you have lifted that verse in isolation again? You always irritate me with how you pick verses in isolation. The Revelations 14:6 you referenced, when read further into verse 7 says as follows: "6. Then I saw another angel flying high in the air, with an eternal message of Good News to announce to the peoples of the earth, to every race, tribe, language, and nation. He said in a loud voice, *Honor God and praise his greatness! For the time has come for him to judge all people. Worship him who made heaven, earth, sea, and the springs of water!" Now, from the two bolded sentences, isn't it clear that the passage is not referring to the time of eternity but talking about this present earthly times? Will there be different nation's speaking different tongues in your paradise on earth. Will God still be coming to judge people in that paradise where only those supposedly already ajudged righteous will expectedly be? See how you argue blindly and misquote the Bible with authority? I have been telling you that you are suffering from manipulation syndrome but you think I am villifying you. Isn't this another evidence that vindicates me? Well, I won't even waste my time looking up the rest references you quoted because they sure to be out of context like this one I just pointed out. |
TATIME:Sorry, I have decided to ignore all these scrptural references above because experience has shown that 97% of your references are always out of context and verses taken in isolation. And the simple question remains that: if heaven or God's expected kingdom means an earthly paraside to be inhabited by fleshy humans exactly like Adam and Eve created in the flesh to occupy the earth, then how come the 1 Corinthians 15:50 you quoted says that nothing in the flesh will enter into the kingdom of God? Or is the paradise a different thing from the kingdom of God? I need direct answers from the scriptures and not your usual conjectures. |
Crysthaniel:Abraham, Isaac and Jacob died physical deaths and never died spiritual deaths while alive unlike Adam and Eve. |
TATIME:See who is accusing others of arguing blindly. Look into the mirror once more please. The same person who claimed that after the encounter on the way to Damascus, Jesus asked Saul to return to Jerusalem to get tutored by the disciples when in actual fact Jesus asked Saul to continue into Damascus to receive healing, and Paul himself later revealing in Galatians 1:11-12 that he was taught by no human being. What argument could be blinder than this? You are just a very funny clown who evidences the fact that your organization is a very manipulative one whose members are forbidden from personal independent minded study of the Bible. Self delusion is usually blissful. |
