it's so difficult getting thru' to them, i spent the whole of yesterday calling, but to no avail. I guess they should just try to be more accessible, perhaps, send more phone numbers for the sms sign ups.

I reaaly dont want to be waiting till mondays, to see the highlights.

I used to think we had a public who are savvy enough to decipher what is, from all these cheap publications.

While i agree that Banks set ridiculous targets for their staff, to ensure that they work all round the clock, i think it's most unfair to post junks like this to discredit the owners of these banks. True, these guys are capitalists, and also have their excesses, i think justifying the bumper pay their staffers earn is not out of place.

Mind you, I do not in anyway encourage the 'corporate prostitution' some of them encourage, i can assure you that i know a bank that doesn't encourage it, yet they are in the top five in the country.

The 60% gist is a crap that should be discarded with a wave of the hand.

An exposed Woman like Ndi, shouldn't have got'n herself into this mess, regardless of her intention, she went too far. I really feel for her, 'cos this damage-control she's doing now will get her no where. Infact that the supposed beneficiary of the whole charade distanced himself from it, makes it more laughable and pathetic.

It's just unfortunate, she needs to pray she comes out of this in one piece and just go hibernating a while, till the dust settles completely before showing her phat face in public again.

Some dreams are just unrealistic, such dreams are to be discarded like a piece of trash.

However some appear to have message laced in it, such dreams could easily be deciphered if you ask me. So one would just be advised to pray about such, but for those other meaningless ones, just laugh over 'em and get on with your day!

I think OBJ had some achievements and Yar Adua will sure record some, but while the former was very stern and firm the latter is weak, and i guess that's the major thing discrediting his government. I really dont doubt Yar Adua's good intentions, but he appears too weak to confront the CABAL or Mafia pulling the nation down.

In Summary, none is better than the other!

Guys, i need your help?

I have a hunch that my Cousin is fallin in luv wiv me, how else would i describe the excessive care and affection she showers me wiv, and the kind of leery stare i get from her when my girl is around suggests nothing but my suspicion. Infact i was feeling it was just a normal sisterly luv until my girl started noticing the excesses. My friends soon started warning me to be careful that my cousin dotes on me too much, but i have been taking it with a pinch of salt. These days she stays awake until i get back from work, and when she's talking wiv me, she looks straight into my eyes like there are messages i should get.

There's no denying the fact that we 'r very close, we go to places together, shop and even gist into the wee hours of the day, but I'm not sure of her motive now?, and she just broke up wiv her boyfriend for what i consider the most triffling of all reasons. I even tried match making her with some of my friends (which is so unlike me) to divert attention from me, but it's not working.

I really like her and wont want to break her heart or hurt her feelings to start avoiding her or even telling her why i'm doing so, but i know i need to 'flee' this 'unwholesome affair' now, as it's even taking it's toll on my relationship with my girl. She even says her friends find it difficult to believe we are not dating.

Please how do i handle this thing o?

It's a terrible situation here, Doctors are grossly underpaid in Nigeria. I wonder how you expect to get the best from them when they know what their counterparts elsewhere earn?

I think the NMA should do something to drive home their demand for a better welfare package, otherwise in no distant future you'll be begging people to study medicine in schools.

Infact these days, you see qualified doctors applying for bank jobs, cabin crew, and even customer service in telecomms companies. It's really appalling.

I wont take that crap on 'humanity', are doctors abroad suffering like the ones here? The govt. has to just do smoething about the health sector.

While i agree in totality that it pays to be faithful, the menfolk find it difficult while it's easier for women.

Infact some pple believe men are 'genetically' made to stray,though the veracity is in doubt, i see tissues of truth in it, because men love adventures and experiment with anything they can lay their hands on.
Little wonder why you see men who have 'goddesses' as wives still stealing into their hosemaids beds at any opportuned time or going to clubhouses or motels to have a go at scruffy and smelly urchins in the street. Now b4 you start telling me abt women who itch for their drivers 'crotch' too, i think if we take a fair statistics, guys will be found to be more on the loose end.

In all, it takes the grace of God to be faithful, just be focused, think of the effect of the news on your partner should the bean be spilled and try to discipline yourself.

On the other hand infidelity could be caused by your partner, some women push their husbands outside to seek fun elsewhere with their incessant nags and troubles. However it's no justification for infidelity.

How much do you love your spouse or girl/boy friend?

Before you start rating 120% or 150%, can you also think of any offence he/she could commit to warrant an immediate dissolution of the relationship besides murder?

A friend caught his girlfriend in bed with his brother, and somehow he was sweet-talked into forgiving her. Then this time he caught her yet in bed with the same brother just 6 months later, and she's begging for forgiveness again.

Ordinarilly, the guy feels he should just kick the girl out of his life, but on second thought (on going down memory lane) he remembered how the girl had sacrificed so much to get him where he is today while she's a nobody and rejected by her relatives for going against them to hang on with him, and also the promises he made her that he would stick to her no matter what, and also how the girl forgave him when he was caught in bed right with her own friend back in those days when he was a nobody and how the girl forgave him inspite of his wrethedness.

Please help this guy out with your suggestions bearing in mind that he's the only family she now knows.

Hey folks, I just want to add that Access bank is always in 'dire' need of Marketers, and believe me the pay is very competitive and attractive, so instead of applying only to Obajana Branch, you could expand your 'drag net' by forwarding it to the head office. I can assure you that if you grad. with 2.2 and you have a few years marketting experience  , you will be invited for a recruitment test.

In summary, apply to Obajana, and also forward one to the head office.

U didn't mention d position u applied for? Is it Engineering or marketing? Anyway, just Jack ur Gmat well, and ensure that u enrich ur Vocabulary base b4 goin for the test. Other things being equal u shl pass it, but then u need to prepare quite hard.

From the lil' I know about Virgin Nigeria, they are the most sincere 'equal opportunity employer' in the land. Everyone is given a fair chance to prove his/her mettle.

So apply, regardless of your grade or qualification. I once met someone that was invited for an interview after she made it thru' the test, I cant remember if she graduated with a pass from a polytechnic or University, but i remember that her grade would put any potential employer off, at first blush,,but with VN, she made it to the interview level, even though she cldn't eventually get the job.

Quite an age, just thought I should drop a word on this particular thread.

It is unfortunate that our employers can afford to restrict their 'drag-net' to a small coverage area and still get barrages of qualified applications, hence they go for such -relatively-manageable population.

My candid advice is that, whatever category u belong, dont ever despair, my colleague at work is over 30yrs and graduated with a 2.2 yet he was just recently recruited into my institution as a trainee, with no related experience. I need to mention that this institution used to be reputed for such discriminations, but my guy and many of us were just lucky.

Your time will never pass you. Just keep sending your applications, even when u seem unqualified, u never know what fate has in stock.

Always remember to push-on with God. He will see u thru'

U dont have to be unnecessarily defensive, We understand that there are exceptions, and u might just be one of such, but then it is uncontestable that women are 'weaker vessels' and could be very emotional and sentimental and this is what those 'bad' guys capitalise on.

My advise 4 those of u that think it is safe to play along is to be very alert, the guy might be aware of ur game and work towards beating u to it. take a stand and let the guy know u are not the dummy that he takes u for.

It is believed that the first income you get from your job belongs to God, though it appears to be a voluntary thing depending on your understanding and relationship with God.

My question is Must it be the first one? cant you split it between the first and second salaries? How about making it up much later in the future?

Please what do you people really think? I want to give God my first fruit, but the odds appear to be weighing heavily, because i really need enough things to do with the money, especially as it is my first salary, i'll need to get outfits and put my self together, unfortunately there seem not to be anywhere i could borrow from.
