Politics › Re: FG May Pay N1.68tn Fuel Subsidy, Marketers Forecast N900/litre by deavicky(m): 9:09am On Sep 22, 2023 |
nairalanda1: At the end of the day, the APC government was always in support of subsidy.
Nigeria cannot afford subsidy again. If we had kept subsidy since May 29, and fuel remained at N195, by now, subsidy costs would have risen drastically, and government would have either been taking loans from other parts of the budget to pay for the subsidy, or taken more loans, or declare force maejure, and the market would end up having scarcity.
We keep making the same mistake every time, all in the name of cheap fuel
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CHEAP FUEL. Fuel costs money to produce. But because we want the poor to breathe, we use tomorrow's money to pay yesterday's costs.
Ah well, everyone should be 'happy' now.
Don't complain when the debt rises, and when we don't have refineries again.
(Yeah, like it makes sense to sell fuel at N617 when it costs N900 in reality. Apparently believing that it is wrong to sell fuel at a loss means you are an oppressor, and hate Nigerians. Well, anyone quoting me to tell me that I am wrong....WOULD YOU sell your goods at a loss to let the poor breathe? )
Am out. . somebody without any idea will read this your comment and think you are making sense. You compare Niger and Ghana with Nigeria because they have a functional refinery but you did not tell us how they get their crude. We produce less crude you did not ask why, or is it that there are no oil Wells or crude had dried up from ground. This whole subsidy problem will be solve with just a refinery. You are justifying that Nigeria cannot carry the burden of paying subsidy and building refinery but one man can build a refinery in the same country. FG can also borrow money to build unless railways. Meanwhile they can borrow to build refinery and from the proceeds they can build railway to where ever they want to build it to. Lastly the price of crude is going up simply because of price of dollar if dollar to Naira because #200 the pump price will also come down drastically. So please do analysis be u talk. Have even thought of Government giving licence to IOC like Total, Agip, Shell, Indorama etc to build refinery and see if they will not do it. |

That is what u see from iidiots when they refuse to do the right thing. How much does it take to build a refinery. |

The whole Importation issue is cause by the government. They had never created any opportunity for industry to strive instead they do what makes them to leave. Importantly they (government) are the one doing the highest Importation in Nigeria by Importing fuel on daily basis instead of fixing our refinery. |

FreeStuffsNG: I have always known that there's a very significant hidden but corrupt reason why Abuja has never been able to grow on its own in the manner Lagos grew phenomenally despite moving the capital in a chaotic manner away from Lagos by Gen Babangida to totally escape June 12 protests. Check my signature for free stuffs! it is nearly impossible for Abuja to experience the kind of lagos growth because it does have those futures to bring about that growth. 1 no proximity to other country no ocean etc. States with possibility of such growth are calabar, delta , Rivers State akwa ibom. |

Family › Re: I Made My Ex-girlfriend(who Is Now A Single Mother) A Deal, Would You Take It ? by deavicky(m): 4:14pm On Aug 29, 2023 |
beekind: I am in my mid 30s, very comfortable and a dual citizen of Nigeria and a first world country. I decided to relocate back to Nigeria because of starting a family and having my own children. Since arriving the country and based on my experiences so far, my plans have changed.
I decided to first focus on having children as I found out that the Nigerian society has become almost worse than the west in terms of sexual debauchery. People have sex for indomine, girls commit abortion without remorse, the worst thing is that no one here uses protection and by the time your average Nigerian girl reaches 30 years old, she has aborted 4 times, slept with almost 100 men and contacted several stds in the process.
What this means is that disciplined men like me are left with these category of girls, worst still is that they come very entitled and empty and can even ruin you with their lifestyle as they are usually impossible to reform.
Solution: I had to go back to the drawing board and re-evaluated my plan, I have an ex-girlfriend (29 years old) whom I am very close with. She fits the bill in terms of who I want as a life partner but she is a single mother. So I gave her a choice.
Have 2 children for me, those 2 children will automatically become dual citizens and I might consider marrying you and adopting your child but even if I don't marry you, your 2 children that you have by me will be taken care of and being dual citizens of a developed country they can turn to a blessing for you and your whole family in future.
Now, let me explain, I still love this lady and my decision was premised on how uncertain I am of what my choice will be in the future as such I wanted to be very open from the beginning, but even at this point, I can not guarantee I will marry her but I could depending on what happens in future.
She's going to give me a feedback later and I am quite positive she will take the offer.
If it were you faced with this option, what would you do ? all I can say here is God will punish Nigeria leaders and Africa leaders at large. |
Family › Re: How Do I Confront My Husband About This Issue? by deavicky(m): 4:10pm On Aug 29, 2023 |
Versitee: I have been feeling like my husband has been cheating on me with our neighbors daughter. She is just about 23 years.
Yesterday which was Sunday, I went to our neighbors house around 6pm to ask if I could use their oven.
Their compound is not fenced so I just walked in straight to their backyard if I would see the man's wife.
I overheard this girl making a call. Apparently she was the only one at home and she wasn't expecting anyone.
She was asking the man over the fone who was sexualy better between his wife and her.
My attention was arrested immediately. I stopped to hear more of the conversation. When I had enough, I made my presence known. She quickly hung up and tried to put up an innocent face.
I also pretended like I heard nothing, I asked to use the oven and left . Getting back home, I was worried if that was my husband that girl was talking to, so I decided to find out.
I got my husbands fone later that night and went through the call log. The time that girl was making that call was few minutes past 6. I checked my husbands fone and there was a number he called around that time.
The number was not saved on the fone so I decided to call that number on my own fone and my true caller identified the number as "Vicky hookup".
Guess what, the girls name is Victoria.
I was surprised because I have the girls number saved on my fone. But I guess the number I have is for her family and friends. The one my husband has is for clients.
I opened his WhatsApp and found no chat with the girl, so I decided to check his telegram. ( Normally I don't like telegram so I never open it on either my fone or husband's)
My husbands telegram was locked. I was surprised cos that is the only app locked on his fone.
To cut the long story short, I found a way to open the app, and I saw his chat with that girl.
It pains me to say that my husband has been having sex with that girl without protection.
I want to go for HIV test tomorrow. Please how do I confront my husband about this.
Also I am scared I might be infected with an sti. if I were u I would have displayed the girls number here. Make all the wolves here devour her. |
