What's the condition of your tranny fluid? If its brown n smells burnt then its very likely a clutch is burnt.

Whichever way, have your tranny scanned and post the codes here.

Ok, Prestone and LongLife Concentrate Antifreeze/Coolant is usually the original stuff for volovs. The cool thing is that they are compatible with ANY antifreeze/coolant, regardless of color for use in all volvo models.

The yr2000 Toyota camry is a good car, reliable and easy to maintain. You will enjoy the ride butt make sure you get a good one.

Unfortunately, I don't have the said car in stock, I would have loved to sell to you. Though I have 2 units of 2003 Toyota corolla, a 2004 Honda accord (EOD) and a 2003 Honda crv at attractive prices with just the same features as in the 2000
Camry.

For my Volvo S80, over the years I use Total Coolant and works fine. You can get from most Total Filling Stations. It is pre-mixed so no need to add water.

If the coolant colour in your engine is clear, then its probably water.

You can drain and go with total coolant.

Firstly, I ask; What diagnosis was conducted to conclude your tranny fibers need changing?

MY ADVISE: To be on the surer side(due to a recent expirience), replace the entire transmission, enjoy ur ride n be happy.

REASON: Here in Nigeria, we don't have shops that sell brand new tranny parts. So, to fix your transmission, we wld have to cannibalise another transmission (of uncertain condition) to salvage parts. What if the whole exercise fails after the job?

So I wld prefer to get another tranny, and if it fails within its warranty period, I can return it and receive another one.
