Very interesting revelations. Sound quite true. But at this point they have made the matter more difficult to solve. Buratai should be commended. He is looking for ways to solve the problem, I think. Military might alone might not do it. We need the girls back. Once the girls are released BH is finished and BH knows that. They are using the girls now as pawns. |
Both sides are wrong. Lets face the truth. The Sports ministry and NFF opened Nigeria up to this embarrassment. About the donation - The team went there to represent Nigeria. There is little that is known about Takasu even on Google. The Doctor may be a good great guy but we hope next time it is not Escobar that is giving us money. The team managers must learn and also not be critical about FG all the time. People in the name of giving out aid money to poor 'third world' so called end up creating so much wealth for themselves. Imagine a photo show with Nigerian National Team receiving bailout from a Japanese individual. The fellow can use that alone to rake in lots of money in his country by portraying Nigeria as a 'poor country' that could not take care of itself at the Olympics and that needed bailout from a rich Japanese. Smart! And now he is creating so much leverage for himself on social media by saying he is angry with Nigeria! He is diminishing us as a people! The FG officials opened the door for this mess and must take most of the blame but I also think the cheap photo splash should have been better managed. There are many Nigerians who can give USD390,000. Mike Adenuga has done far more without photosplash. Anyway, be careful next time, so you dont end up taking money from a felon and allowing such photo splash. It can diminish Nigeria a lot. Its just an opinion. |
Charly68:Listen to the other side of the story. Nigerian businesses are over-taxed. There is doubole and triple taxation every where. There must be fairness in taxation for it to make sense. Businesses will close if you overtax them. Then the poor will suffer more. |
This is what the likes of Sanusi and co are suggesting. That FG should tax more to reduce indebtedness. This is why FG is asking him to put the suggestion in writing. Because with one side of the mouth they push FG to more taxes, and with the other the accuse the FG of inflicting suffering. This will be a bad move. Communications will suffer. People will call less. The economy will shrink further and FG will still earn less. Our Finance Ministry is really non-performing. Why not look for how to lower costs so that people can invest and spend more and then you boost the economy. Will that not boost the revenue to FG? Why are we fixated on short term short cuts to success? The telecoms companies grew on the back of lower call rates. Banks grew substantially when they started low cost special products, like low COT accounts. Any further shrink can cause more harm. PMB beware of bad advices. |
The fellow who cannot stop spreading hate! He needs to check himself for paranooia and prejudice. Jonathan was yesterday. He had his chance, made his impact but also made some mistakes. Its not easy up there. People should learn to face today and prepare for tomorrow. The 'advisers' of GEJ fooled him in many ways. First, was the lie that we had the largest economy - based on bubbles and holes. They shared money instead of encouraging productivity. Now, the oil money is not even there because oil prices have crashed globally. Was that a making of PMB? We had so much windfall, but could not save or plan for diversification. Simple common sense should tell some fellows that if you earned all your money from crude, your revenue or income will drop if crude prices drop, and will drop substantially if crude prices drop in that magnitude. So, whats new in that? Anyway, someone once said that you should not expect common sense to be common! people can be so prejudiced that they cannot think straight! Its just quite hard to see people spread hate and prejudice because they know that our young ones sometimes fail to see through! Enough of their putred smell all over the place. Enough of evil counsels. |
MAKE UP? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? DOES IT STAND FOR MAKING UP FOR WHAT IS NOT THERE? I WONT CONDEMN MAKE UP BUT EVERY MAN SHOULD BE WEARY OF PANCAKE LIKE EXCESSIVE MAKE UP THAT HAS BECOME SO COMMON THESE DAYS! SOME MEN ARE FEELING THEY HAVE BEEN CHEATED WHEN SUDDENLY AFTER MARRIAGE THEY SEE THE REAL FACE OF THEIR WIVES.....AND THEN THE DIFFERENCE IS TOO MUCH TO BEAR! #MAKE IT REAL - THE REAL FACE IS BETTER THAN THE MADE UP FACE. BUSOLA UMOREN JUST SHOWED THAT! |
HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. A LOT OF PEOPLE GO TO THE PRESIDENT TO SAY ONE THING AND THEN TURN TO THE PUBLIC TO SAY THE OPPOSITE. NOT ALL THE PEOPLE, BUT SOME PEOPLE DO THAT. SO THEY SHOULD WRITE AND THEY SHOULD ALSO SPEAK IN PUBLIC! |
Ajibel:Dont mind them. People like that fellow Reno and FFK who cannot discern that Nigerians are tired of them spreading silly propaganda. |
KingEbukasBlog:Checking the manhood is the first step to the sin. It is unscriptural. What will follow - the man too will insist on checking the size of the womanhood! How will they do that without crossing the line? Any discerning christian should understand that the practice suggested here is a subtle invitation into sinning. That a 'pastor' said so does not make it right. I agree with your comments. |
A direct hit at the CBN Governor for his jankara policies. An indirect hit at PMB for not effecting changes at CBN! Period. |
Dajugba:Wonder why everything is blamed on Nigeroa or FG? Go to UK or the US and see how businessses that have even clocked close to a century are closing down! 10% of high street shops in London are now vacant. That is a place where you had to wait on the queue to get a small shop. Now there is no wait, because e-commerce is taking good share. Markets change and everyone must be ready. At any rate, it is in this same Nigeria that Dangote has thrived to become Africa's richest. It is here that a new bank, Sun Trust, has just opened shop. Ask InJoo or Samsung for the kind of success they have here. Linda Ikeji has announced she is setting up new businesses, after she opened a new office. Yes, indeed things are tough, but there is an opportunity for us to overcome. There is no 'father christmas' country anymore, anywhere. Dont be deceived! The days of automatic shirts or automatic jobs are over. Today, sweat is required, beyond talent! Back to the write up. The writer sounds to me like a success waiting to happen. And this is my advice - You dont have to put all your focus on the tech segment. Pray for guidance. You actually do communicate well. You engage people pretty fine. Have you heard about Yewande Zachaeus, the lady that left a career in banking to set up the most famous events company in Nigeria? Pray. |
smart guy. targetting youths... |
You are not considered intelligent because you can abuse. I am not a fan of glo neither am i a fan of BMB but in this instance he is really making sense. |
CBN is failing while FG watches. Is there any bias there? Is the allegation about one bank being taken from the list any true? Why punish one bank who was ready to pay and leave out the other one who just paid before the rogue announcement was made? Are they showing competence? How long will PMB watch as naira depreciates? |
OUR DEAR HONOURABLE SINATORS HAVE 'BROKED' IT! |
Innovator90:He also fails to realize that people hold him in high esteem as a role model......quite dissapointing! Who should the youths look to? |
Too much forex!! |

Where is FFK now? I hope the fellow will go to a doctor to fix whatever is wrong with him instead of insulting the President all iote unlike Yoruba! |
APC government is indeed showing signs of paranoia. Leave past government alone. What people are stealing under you can also buy single jewelries that are worth 50,000USD. Or is she she saying that stealing has stopped? |
Has he now apologized to Nigerians? I remeber he accused our leaders of being corrupt and always staching money away in American banks? Anyway, I am not sure he lied on this one though. |
He is very correct. Once you cut the states you have also cut the house. 6 states mean 18 senators (3 per state) and 30 reps (5 per state). 2 ministers per state bring total number to 12. Bro Ben, please push this through and you will become the people's general! |
Many young Nigerians now consider themselves smart because they can abuse leaders on social media. Imagine someone calling a professor of law a dullard! Is that not stupid? Some of these abusers may not even have passed JAMB! |
Tomorrow this same man will join APC or PDP and vie go t house of reps....and his people will vote him!! NIgeria. You wonder why we are where we are! People graduate from rogue lecturer or rogue bank manager and join rogue politics! |
So, how much did he pad in his time? Crooked fellows looting Nigeria since 1960. Fantastically corrupt nation. |
VOTE OF CONFIDENCE TO SUPPORT FORGERY AND STEALING? WHAT MANNER OF PEOPLE ARE THESE? |
ANYONE WHO WAS AT THAT MEETING WOULD TELL YOU THAT HE DID NOT SAY SOME OF THESE THINGS MENTIONED HERE. SOMEBODY HAS FOUND IT CONVENIENT TO ADD HIS/HER OWN! AMAZING HOW PEOPLE FABRICATE THINGS. |
Our country has been seriously padded for too long and now we seriously need a panel beater to fix things! EFCC, ICPC what are you waiting for? |
IHEMBE IHEMBE, how many times will your name appear in this kind of circumstances? |
NIGERIANS MUST DEMAND FOR THE BUDGETS OF THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE. THEY SPEND SO MUCH TIME AND BROUHAHA ON THE EXECUTIVE BUDGET WHEREAS THEY CAN PAD THEIR ANYHOW! THIS IMPUNITY MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO LIKE THAT. |
WITH THE NEW STORY OF MASSIVE PADDING COMING OUT OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IT IS EVIDENT THAT OUR POLITICIANS ARE FAR FROM BEING REPENTANT. NIGERIA CANNOT SURVIVE THEIR KIND OF LOOTING. THIS HAS TO BE CURTAILED. THE BEHAVIOUR MAY JUST BE BECAUSE THE PAST OFFENDERS HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO GO FREE WITH THEIR LOOT. THERE IS A LIST OF 31 NOW. THEY CAN START FROM THERE. IF PDP OR ANY OTHER PARTY GAINS POWER AFTER NOW, THEY ALSO WILL PROBE THE APC PEOPLE. AND NIGERIA MAY JUST BE BETTER FOR IT! IF NIGERIA DOES NOT KILL CORRUTION CORRUPTION MAY KILL NIGERIA. AT LEAST NOW SOMETHING IS HAPENNING AND IT IS BETTER THAN LETTING EVERYONE JUST COME AND CHOP AND GO! IN FACT THEY DONT WANT TO GO ONCE THEY START CHOPPING. THEY WANT TO REMAIN THERE FOREVER ALWAYS CHOPPING! THAT IS WHY OUR ECONOMY IS WHERE IT IS TODAY. |
Put yourself in your employer's shoes. What would you do? I suggest you admit that you were not ware when you got the job and just plead that you will do your best. Dont try to badmouth the employer in any way. |
