I just came back from a ban concerning this fulani issue. Them say I insulted d tribe, no wahala we are all observing. Have u all noticed these days that u will hardly find adults herdsmen but u'll rather see little children moving about with the cattles. The big question is were are the adults? I think they have all gone on a killing vacation somewhere. This issue is not APC VS PDP, its all about the survival of Nigeria, majority of the people up north are highly political wise than most peeps down south. Let's keep fighting ourselves like mumu while these blood suckers over run us, but God forbid. Igbos are the only tribe that can not be deceived by propaganda. All other southern tribe wake up and shine ur eyes. Moderators hope I didn't insult any1 again?
It has been like that since time immemorial that the young Fulanis are the ones with the cattle. The herdsmen must be checked quickly before they set the country on fire. Also, Nigerians should be careful not to label Fulanis as evil. The havoc is done by Fulani criminals, who are like BH criminals.. (not everyone in Yobe or Borno is BH).It is dangerous to generalize this. Dont forget that the cattle thieves are also there killing Fulani herdsmen. Round table please, as quickly as possible.
PoliticsRe: Armed Men Crossing Benue River En-Route Agatu (Video) - SBM Intelligence by Dee60: 5:43pm On Apr 28, 2016
These are not Fulanis. That aspect that the film is recent may not be true.

Nothwithstanding, why would there be so much arms with civilians?

And reality is - when we have so many of our security people mounting roadblocks for motorsists checking for car documents, why wont this happen?

We are yet to face reality in the country. Why should policemen be checking 'particulars'?

Then you have one called VIO. They surround cars likes locusts and are always with fat bellies. Why are they not enrolled in the Police to go fight the enemy BH, instead of fighting innocnet motorists and forever checking 'particulars'?

Wake up country!

They are not after the BIG THIEVES who are diverting tankers and trucks to other countries and now they want to unleash their terror on innocent persons who just want to have fuel....IG sir, some old grandmothers have to fuel their generators...there is NO light for days and weeks.

The problem is that these big cats are feeding fat on us! They dont even know how fuel gets into their array of cars. They dont even pay for anything. They feed fat on our wealth and make strange policies to inflict hardship on people.

IG sir, who really wants to buy in jerry cans, if your FG can just provide common petrol?

Anyway, your boys are no match to the FADEYI fuel hawkers! They dare them at their own peril!

realjoker:
I don't know why this western sponsored foreign media are hell bent on the devaluation of the naira without them highlighting the benefits of devaluation to us, all what they keep telling us repeatedly is how there will be hike in investment from abroad, without telling the gullible ones among us who have already fell for their cheap blackmail how the devaluation of the naira means that our local banks will need more naira to service their foreign debt mostly euro bond then leave them with little cash reserve, without telling them how our various state will need more naira to service their foreign debts even though before devaluation they struggle to meet their basic needs, they fail to tell the gullible ones how federal government will need extra hundreds of billions of naira to service foreign debts mostly IMF and world bank loans.
Ever since the introduction of SAP over 30 years ago that we have been devaluing our naira from #1=1$ to the current $1=200 how many foreign investors have make our economic self sufficient in single sector of our economic? our local investors have make us self sufficient in many commodities eg cement
instead we export wealth(raw materials that can employ millions) and import unemployment (what the raw material can be source locally and transformed to consumer consumption). how many of you even know that most of this foreign companies export our cocoa then import chocolate then package it here after shortchanging us? and that is what has been happening to other raw materials, just like we export crude oil then import refined petroleum product from them at exorbitant rate?

All these foreign investors they keep shouting about are mere speculators and leeches on our national economic because i don't believe foreign investors who only invest in our stock market and buy government bonds and T bills as real investors we have so many sectors of our economic that we lead real investors like mining and manufacturing industries.

what have Angola benefited from their satanic advice on devaluation?
ans. a very though future.

politics apart, use your brain once and say no to this western cheap blackmails.

The economy is not in the best shape but when
you compared the state of Nigerian economy to
similar nations, generating 90% of their foreign
revenue from oil you will agree with me that
Nigeria is not doing bad at all.
Currently, among such nations, Nigeria is the best
in terms of investment destination. When you look
at emerging-economies, Nigeria is second after
China, the 2nd largest economy in the world.
Mind you, China has lost over $4 trillion this year,
Brazil two years ago was most thriving emerging
economy and currently relegated to junk by credit
rating, same with Venezuela, Argentina, etc.
In Africa, South Africa is regarded as business
powerhouse, but this year alone South Africa has
suffered from global financial slowdown and Rand
lost about 30% against the US dollar, 2016
economic growth forecast was cut to 0.9% from
1.7%.
The same thing happened to Angola, even after
devaluing her currency, Kwanza, slides 40%.
Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Asia-Pacific
(Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, New
Zealand, etc) are all suffering from global
financial crisis but somehow Nigeria has been
able to manage it better.
Please note that this situation is similar to what
happened in 2008 (recession), with even lower oil
prices but because of 2008 experience, financial
institutions, Central banks, etc. are making
adjustments to their monetary policies just like
this administration is doing. Even at that,
Abenomics developed by Abe, Japan Prime
Minister has failed. So Nigeria situation is not
unique.
This administration is not A Government Of
Failure, Tears And Disappointment but of hope,
determination and strength, even in the face of
global pressure to devalue and succumb to IMF
cabal, We stand and soon we will all reap from
this administration. Stay positive.
Perhaps they wanted to say 'foreign speculators'! In their home countries they encourage local production but go abroad all to sponsor consumption of what they produce. Look at China and India. They grew on the back on massive local production and not the useless foreign speculation we have had for so long! India deveoped from within. Nigerians must stop fooling ourselves that some western 'investment' is what will save us.....

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo Continues To Serve As RCCG Pastor (press Statement) by Dee60: 7:38am On Apr 21, 2016
Nigerians are hapless. They would rather have a devil rule them. For once, you have a God fearing person come to volunteer to lead and all you can do is attack him.

Serving in the church is a service to God. If bank managers, or CEOs, or Vice Chancellors or clerks can serve God, why not a VP?

There is even something wrong with how we think. a Vice President is not a traditional ruler or a king. It is a job, a leadership job, and it is open to all Nigerians of certain age.

This man is learned. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He is a Professor. He is not an idle or a hungry man. He does not need to be a VP to be rich! For choosing to serve the country, it should be something to commend and not to attack.

A lot of Nigerians are idle and hapless. They cannot see any good in anyone. They live in fool's paradise. They think they are intelligent because they can open their mouths to attack or abuse others.

Sad.

We need change of hearts if this country will progress.

VERY ANNOYING.

IT IS HIGHTIME NIGERIANS SUMMON THESE SENATORS WHO CANNOT JUST STOP ACTING WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF IMPUNITY. THEIR ATTITUDE IS SO REPUGNANT AND FOREVER RELEASES PUTRID ODOUR TO THE NATION. HOW CAN YOU SUMMON A JUDGE WHERE YOUR MEMBER IS ON TRIAL? WHAT NONSENSE?

THEY TAKE US FOR FOOLS. THEY BEHAVE LIKE COMMON MOTOR PARK TOUTS. THEY DISPLAY WEALTH THAT CANNOT BE EXPLAINED. YET, THE GREED AND THE APPETITE FOR MORE IS UNQUENCHABLE. THEY SPEND ANYHOW AND ON ANYTHING, NOT MINDING TO PAY ANY AMOUNT, YET THEY WILL LAY HOSTAGE TO THE NATIONAL BUDGET FOR MONTHS UNENDING, NOT MINDING THAT THE ECONOMY IS CRIPPLED BY SO DOING. THEY DONT CARE. THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN. THEY ARE NOT WITH US. THEY ARE AGAINST US. THEY REPRESENT THEMSELVES AND THEIR POCKETS AND NOT THE PEOPLE. IT IS OUT OF PLACE, TOTALLY OUT OF PLACE TO CALL THEM 'HOUSE OF REPS'!

NIGERIANS MUST REALIZE WHO THE ENEMIES ARE. WHEN WE START TO RECALL THEM THEY MAY SIT UP. UNTIL THEN, DONT EXPECT THE LEOPARDS TO CHANGE THEIR SKINS.

IT IS HIGH TIME THE PEOPLE SUMMONNED THEM!!!

PoliticsRe: Senate Rushes Passage Of CCB Act Amendment by Dee60: 4:48pm On Apr 14, 2016
CFCman:
The constitution bars the National Assembly from making retroactive laws (i.e. ex post facto).

Thus, even if the proposed amendment is passed by both chambers, vetoed by the president, and the NASS overrides the veto with a 2/3 majority in both houses, the law would not apply to Saraki's case because his case commenced before the enactment of the law. Also, other pending cases before the CCT won't be affected by the proposed legislation.

The proposed new law will only take effect on future cases i.e. cases commenced after the day of enactment of the amendments.
Do you really think they know anything in that house? They cannot even read the content of a budget proposal! Stark illiterate lawbreakers!

SS and SE have been "doing" themselves since.

They supported Saraki knowing that he is extremely corrupt but as long as Tinubu is against him, they would embrace him. "My enemy's enemy is my friend'... That is the poor mentality of your leaders.

If APC's choice of senate president had been honored, we wouldn't have this drama today. Imagine educated senators in spite of all the evidence against Saraki, ganging up to say they would swim and sink with him. Imagine the plain folly. SS and SE think they are "doing" us but they are only doing themselves. Bitter people.

Quakertellicus1:
You know something....why apologize to a woman who did nothing about the mess in NNPC....especially the fact that because we did not properly fix the refineries and add new ones under her rule.....we are in this mess.

1.You are paying N180 for fuel(it is still N86.50 in major marketers and NNPC fuel stations....higher in some independent marketers)....because the fuel subsidy.....WHICH YOU DO NOT WANT REMOVED....and which your new hero supported its removal....is preventing marketers from making profits....so as a result....they have to sell much higher than official price....or else they won't have the dollars needed to import.

2.Have you ever thought why we do not have the dollars for imports? It is because oil prices have fallen....so we can no longer waste dollars on everything.....we need it to keep up the naira....so that you sports fans wont be paying N100000 for a loaf of bread.

And if the subsidy goes.....you would be paying far higher for fuel. So...why are you complaining. Do you expect APC to diversify the economy in 10 months....when PDP and your new heroes did not do it in 16 years?

3.Ask your new hero why no new refineries were built? Even if the ones we have are working at full capacity....we would still need to import 23 million liters of fuel every day. And the reason prices stayed at N97-N87 per liter during her time was because...we had the dolalrs to import and subsidze the fuel at the same time. Now we do not...and now the decisions we made not to build new refineries has come back to haunt us.

4.Ask your heroes why at the end of their rule...they were still owing money to the marketers? That is why they refused to import...they were owing so much that they were in debt...and they still owe. Because....we no longer have the dollars to import since oil prices fell.

5.And is it now you are noticing we bought fuel at higher prices. I bought fuel at N102-110 during GEJ's time. I even know of people who bought fuel at N170 in Minna during GEJ time. And fuel in SE and SS was above N150 during GEJ's time. Indeed...it was only Lagos and Abuja that sold fuel at N97 during GEJ's time....in the very outskirts of ABuja.....fuel was sold as high as N140. during gej'S TIME.

6.What would solve this problem is ......removal of subsidy. But that would put prices of fuel above N150....the same price you are complaining about....but fuel would flow. You are complaining about high prices....and yet...you paradoxically do not want the actual solution to your problem....apart from five new refineries?

Nigeria needs at least 23 million extra liters per day...in addition to the new 17 million liters of fuel per day. Some even put it at 53 million extra liters per day!

Abeg...why apologize to someone who spent all the time in office doing nothing to solve the problem....and hiding the problem via massive dollar influx to import fuel to paper the cracks. Nigeria needs new refineries and removal of subsidy. Things that your new heroine did not do ...and before anyone calls me zombie....things that the new APC govt must do if they want to sort this issue out once and for all.

Nigerians....
I doubt very much if they will understand you. We pray never to go back to the locust years, when oil sold consistently at over USD100 per barrel but Nigeria got worse off because the gold diggers could just not control their greed! They drove the country into coma. Yes, PMB and his team need to loosen up a bit and feel the pulse of the nation. But it is grossly below the belt to now start praising the people who drove us into this mess in the first place. By the way, the queues are beginning to dissappear in Lagos. We urge the FG to work hard to sustain the improvement. As they approach the second year, they have to find ways to reduce the sufferings in the land.
