mrjaydee:

Make nobody accept trips going towards second tollgate lekki.. the road is totally blocked... I was on a trip from 4 points to abraham adesanya (indriver 2300). I had to abort midway after spending close to 2 hrs and we were just approaching jakande. I told rider I would forfeit the fare but she gave me 2500 instead. She followed me back to freedom way though |

SaintHilary: My neighbor picked me up today, always had d feeling he's a Uber driver based on the way he leaves early and comes back late.
But wat surprised me was he said assuming he knew it was me, he would've declined That he doesn't even accept trips from or to our estate (probably he doesn't want anyone to know he's an Uber driver).
I personally think it's stupid cus Uber drivers earn even more than sum office workers now...so y should I be ashamed Or naxo sum drivers here dey do too?
PS: That Ogataxi dude wey leave Uber go do real estate just bought a Camry muscle..The clown say e dey fear to come here cus e no get money for give away Was super excited for him Wen I saw him yesterday...that's progress mehn! Big ups to y'all I have a lady 3 houses from mine, after picking her requests on 2 different occasions she started calling my number instead of requesting anytime she needs a ride. All my neighbors know and the respect is still there cuz the way you carry yourself matters, if people notice you have low self esteem they will treat you like trash |

Felicity0001: You still count profit compare to driving on Bolt in a long run.
Let's do a rough tilter
Assume you drive 8hrs daily, 6days weekly with a difference of N1 on Uber.
8*1*60min= N480 6*480= N2,880 A month= N11,520 1yr= N138,240 dy/dx of 5%= N69,120
Correct me if I'm wrong. Lol bros I no go fit know whether you right or wrong o cuz I no even understand the whole thing. Where dy/dx come from na when there's no x and y |

Felicity0001: Mr I know it all, Mr facts and figures.
Have you also tried to calculate those figures in a week to a month and in a year to see how much you stand to loose driving at N10/min in every 11/15hrs drive daily?
Also take time to calculate that N300 compensation after covering some km to pickup and bolt riders cancelling without you getting compensated. Assume 10 weekly in a year then see how muxh you're losing as a driver.
Smart business driver, I great you.
You're doing well. Whatever loss you may suffer driving on bolt in a year can't be up to what you'll lose to uber in the name of extra 5% commission |

BiggyB242: Lol thank you bros. So, like how much can one request for on a weekly bases using your location. Where I am isn't as busy as Lagos, I reside in Benin. Here in Lagos its between 20k and 30k, mostly 25k. I don't know how it is in Benin, you can download the rider app, request a driver and ask him all you need to know. Let him know you'll pay for his time |

Rent a driver ke, it is a driver that will do the renting (rent your car) for a reasonable amount that will be paid to you weekly, that's how you get paid. As for how the driver gets paid.. don't bother, the driver will sort him/herself |

Two more questions: - so I have been using the so called palm oil on the car, is it advisable to switch to synthetic? - what's the recommended average mileage to change the synthetic oil? I saw 75000 in one of the brands There should be somewhere on that oil label where they wrote "you'll have to change the oil along with the engine" |

Alvin007: How on earth can Bolt refuse to idemnify, or compensate drivers from this sole responsibility of hers, and yet, clearly state it in her terms and conditions? We really need to study 'Terms and conditions' before clicking 'I accept'. It all comes down to a simple question... Do we have a choice? If I don't accept, others will and the train moves.. without me. This is just an explanation, not justification. |

walter315: Good day,
We are creating a group for Lagos based Fleet Managers on the Telegram app. The purpose of the group is basically to leverage on each other's resources; like knowledge of the business, contacts of good mechanics and body shops, help each other with driver recruitment needs (rental or HP), car sale deals. etc but most importantly promote improvement, fairness, and share ideas...
By this act, we are multiplying our strengths so much so that even a newcomer in business won't have trouble starting because its a forum where he or she can ask questions...There is always an advantage in teamwork over working alone or in a smaller team. so if you are interested, chat me up on telegram so I can add you..

have a great day
ps, the group is on the telegram app, if you don't have it you can download.

Felicity0001: So we still have people who knows and like good things like me... The last time I bought a car perfume of 2k many criticised me saying I lack good savings skills and will hardly prosper in life... Can you imagine?... Poverty has eaten deep into d minds of many. The g.o.a.t even advised me to use the N200 aboki perfume he uses... Inside life... When people can fit into your shoes they instead wish you downgrade to their poor low life. God forbid!
Greatness is in the mind. Its how you see and place yourself you will become in life.
Just about 3weeks ago I went shopping for some clothing, bought some nice suits and pant trousers, I wore one of the suits to work after Sunday service and all of my riders rated me 5stars without asking.
I read how a lot are emaciating like small letter "i" simply because they have decided to be selfish and wicked to their own stomach by eating junks like gala and coke, very soon they'll be diagnosed of diabetics. Make una eat Jamiacan Rice from radautoworks you say no (its just 3k), ok I offered to buy for them only 2persons mailed me and got their meal, heaven no fell. Eating healthy and eating well doesn't make one poor rather rich. Health is Wealth.
To you that has been eating gala, N100 meatpile prepared with rat meat and sold by those obalende Ghana boys and you that is using N200 aboki perfume, watching your car by yourself after driving for almost 18hrs daily, have you build a house? How many cars do you have on rental?
To that federal g.o.a.t that claims to be a millionaire catfish grower and still drive on Bolt coming from Anambra, who do you think you're deceiving? Fish farm requires more time than any other livestock farming the earlier you go back to your village and take care of your fish the better for you, else your supposed workers will feed your fish with gamanin while you're here trying to move Lagos to Anambra.
Nonsensical nonsense!!!
Modify: Who cares to eat should join me abeg na my money makeninfollow enjoy am. Watin! Lol see as you vex finish. This Jamaican rice wey no dey available for our mainland na cheating o, na only inside picture I dey always enjoy am |

How about a corolla in used privately for 5yrs, how much do you think would be ok for HP. Present Millage is within 160k-170k. It depends on the year of manufacture and how sound the car is with regards to engine, transmission and body. Check out how much used cars in similar condition are being sold on jiji n co then add around 70% profit |

izzou: When a driver decides to discontinue a HP contract, it is not really a Win situation for the partner
Most drivers would prefer a Tokunboh for HP because it has not been abused yet. If a driver breaches his HP contract, who will take the car on HP again?
So most likely, the partner may begin to lose.
Anybody going into HP should be ready to faithful to the last. If you quit, you have left the partner in the middle of the sea.
With a befitting price, drivers will grab it in no time. HP doesn't have to be 3 million+ , if the previous driver has paid up to 1.5m out of the initial 3m+ , owner can spend out of it to put the car back in shape and put it back on HP at a price below 2m |
